It is always a pleasure to visit my mother in Homemead, as she is extremely happy and settled there. The home has a very calm atmosphere and recent improvements within the building and garden have made it more attractive/comfortable for both residents and visitors. The management and staff are caring and attentive and the residents appear well cared for.

Mum is in her fourth year at Homemead and I am very happy with the quality of care she receives. The staff are friendly, warm and highly skilled. They really care about the well being of the residents. Mum's needs have changed considerably over the years and Homemead have responded by making sure, she has what she needs to feel comfortable and supported at each stage of the dementia. They have good links with the local GP and regular visits from the District Nurse and GP - it is very reassuring to know that is all in place. Food is of high quality and there are various activities on most days. Lovely garden and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend.

My wife would be lost if not for Homemead. I believe the carehome is doing an excellent job in looking after my wife and keeping her happy. The home is in need of an update as it's a little tired looking in its decor. However, the staff are great and it's a warm, friendly and homely environment. They have daily activities and there is a secure garden where you can sit away from the the general room.

My mother has dementia and has been at Homemead since May 2024 - Her general health has improved since moving from her home and having regular care, meals and people around I believe are a great benefit to her. She has visits from her friends as she lived in Teddington her whole life, so being accessible for them is a benefit. There is always parking, but not always private spaces to have conversations (other than her room).
I live far away I only get to visit once every 3 to 4 months and the care team have arranged video calls with her in between these visits.

The staff have always been helpful and have time to chat.

I visit A friend quite regularly and always find him calm and in good humour. I have commented in ratings only where I have experience.

Staff always seem attentive and caring and perform their role with great patience. A friendly atmosphere exudes, obviously I have no comment on food but my friend often speaks highly of the quality and I can say all residents have regular hot/cold drinks

My mother Evelyn has moved into Homemead in early January and I could not be any happier to see her here.
The property is extremely homely.
Well appointed with comfortable rooms and spaces for all the residents and there's a very calming feel to the whole place.
The home feels safe and it is extremely well organised and run by all the staff.
All carers and staff are just lovely!
Patient, understanding, and genuinely caring people, all of them.

Tracey especially, a real earth angel ! Thank you so much for looking after mum they way you do. The love you show to all the residents and they way you work with all the people is amazing xx.

As soon as your enter Homemead it feels like a home where I am delighted my wife is cared for by a team who all take "care" as their main aim. They all welcome me every time I visit and they all connect with my wife with either just a smile or a cuddle or a kiss to make her feel she belongs and has anew home where she is looked after.

All the staff are so considerate of her needs. My wife reacts to their attention with a smile. She has no memory of her life before being in Homemead, but I am confident that she is being cared for by a team who all work so hard to make her as welcome and comfortable as possible.

My mother entered the care home early May this year, which is a very sad time for families, however she has settled in and is clearly benefiting from the services provided. The staff are hero's here, catering for all their needs, even before they require them.
The home is like one big family (yes it has it's characters) and everyone is included, entertainment provided and well received by the residents, there are no set visiting times which makes it easy for us to staffer times.

My wife and I enjoy visiting the home and have made friends with the residents who stay there, cannot praise the home and staff enough.

Myself, my two brothers and mum's friends (who visit from time to time) have found all aspects of Homemead's care to be excellent. My mother has been a resident of Homemead for 5 years and we couldn't be happier. She is treated with dignity and care and has a smile on her face which is invaluable and reassuring. The staff are caring and attentive and treat my mother like one of their own!

The home has recently had a refurb which is great and although there are other homes in the area none for me offered the homely, communal, reassuring atmosphere that Homemead does. I would definitely recommend the home to others.

Overall Experience
The carers at Homemead are a 10/10. They genuinely care about the residents and they will often cuddle, laugh, sing and dance with them. They are warm and kind and it shows in the way the residents interact with them. When I can't visit I feel assured that my mum is safe and well looked after. There are lots of agency staff but that goes with the territory because of the poor pay for care workers, however, I have only seen them be hard-working and gentle with the residents. The team leaders are proactive and if you have a concern you know it will be dealt with. They lead with enthusiasm and kindness.

Homemead has recently had a facelift - it looks really good and suits the age of the property. I would like to see more activities to help pass the days, including more gardening and outside activities in the warmer months.
