Lawnfield House is a purpose-built, 41 bedded care home in Willesden, northwest London providing residential dementia care in a specially designed, safe, homely environment.

Residents enjoy a varied, optional activity programme that enables them to explore their interests while discovering new ones. A specially trained music therapist interacts with residents living with dementia through group or one-to-one sessions. This is proven to alleviate the symptoms of isolation experienced by many people living with dementia.

Secure, landscaped gardens give residents the option to put their gardening skills to good use or simply relax and enjoy being outdoors.

The team at Lawnfield House pride themselves on providing a personalised environment and ensures that residents and their families are at the centre of everything as are its core values of dignity and respect. The dedicated Chaplain provides pastoral support for both residents and their families.

All care is tailored towards personal needs, regularly updated with the help of skilled professionals, such as GPs and therapists, with loved ones regularly consulted on developments.

The staff at Lawnfield House bend over backwards to help my friend, they are not just there for the residents but for the family and friends. From the reception staff to nurses, volunteers to kitchen staff and cleaners, everyone is kind and helpful.

My mum was lucky enough to be a resident at Lawnfield House for the past four years. During the pandemic although it was obviously difficult not being able to visit, I knew my mum and everyone was being kept safe. We had weekly emails and were always able to ring or have Facetime calls. A special visitor's
pod was built outside and as soon as I was allowed I had a lovely safe visit with my mum. The staff always go the extra mile to ensure the residents have lots of fun activities to do such as music and dog therapy which are all enjoyed by everyone. This is a lovely, safe and happy environment for anyone's relatives.

She was always down for a chat, socialising, singing such beautiful songs for all to hear and she had such a beautiful heartfelt smile. We certainly miss her singing at Lawnfield House. She was our 'singing star' and took the lead at our sing-along sessions. We miss her dearly. Please feel free to pop in and say hi anytime you wish. My husband, a friend and I attended the annual 'International BBQ Day' yesterday, which was a great opportunity to meet other residents and their families. It was a wonderful event and I was so impressed by all the staff. They were all so welcoming and caring towards every single resident, looking after
all their needs but still offering them entertainment. As a guest we were all looked after, it was a pleasure to see all the staff having fun and offering a friendly and family environment at the care home.

Lawnfield is a warm and welcoming care home and we are very pleased with the care and attention my mother receives. She is 90 years old and has very little memory now but she is always treated with sensitivity, patience and kindness. The manager sets the tone with her friendly and professional demeanour,
and she takes a keen interest in the welfare of all the residents. The staff are well-trained, attentive and approachable. I am always welcomed by the staff and they update me on how my mother is getting on and whether they have any concerns about her health. I would recommend Lawnfield to anyone looking for a home for themselves or a relative.

This care home is outstanding. My father is very well cared for, with his health being well stabilised since he has resided there. The family have a good relationship with the staff and it is very easy to address any issues/requirements that we may have. It is safe, secure, patients are well fed and
looked after. It is also clean and has a homely feel. There is a little garden which is pleasant to sit in during the summer and there are group activities for patients on a regular basis.

My husband has been in Lawnfield House for 10 months and has been extremely well cared for. It is a huge relief to have continuity of care from a stable team, who understand him and his needs and work hard to meet every resident's needs.
When he was unwell in January, the staff coordinated with medical
services and managed to avoid hospitalisation, which was a huge relief. I visit regularly and always appreciate the welcome, support and engagement shown by all staff.

I would like to express my greatest appreciation for the care my mother receives. It is such a well run home and the staff so kind and thoughtful and caring. They have a resident's individual needs at the core of their provision. They respond promptly and genuinely look after residents and are happy
to respond to requests. They encourage residents to participate and provide a wide range of activities to stimulate their minds. It is always clean and tidy and everyone is cheerful and I have been amazed how my mother has integrated and now regards it as her home. Well done Lawnfield.

The whole family are really impressed with the dementia care at Lawnfield House for my aunt over the last 9 months. Management and staff are very caring and attentive. They avoid agency staff to ensure continuity. All residents seem happy. There is generally a very nice vibe in the home - not what you
might expect from a dementia unit. The quality of the rooms, particularly the communal areas is very high. It feels like an A* private hospital. My aunt particularly likes the warm, friendly and fun nature of her care staff.

In the care home my mother was looked after very well. She resided there a year and a half. I visited her every week.
I saw how they cared for all residents there.
Staff were very kind to everybody, always willing to encourage them and chat with them. All the staff were familiar to me, no agency staff
were used.
My mum was well liked by everybody there and had the most professional treatment. She died there when she was almost 98. Six staff attended her funeral which I appreciated very much.

My partner, who has dementia, went into Lawnfield House for a month when I had to go into hospital. I can confirm that she personally told me that she liked being there and that I was very satisfied with the standard of care, the facilities and the friendliness and diligence of the staff.

I was impressed on my first visit and in the following months, there has been nothing that has changed that view.
The professionalism and care displayed by all employees is to be applauded.


Activities - I feel I am unable to comment because these provisions have been used sparingly by the resident

because of unique circumstances.


Value for Money - I have little to compare it to but if I was personally financing, I would be more than happy.

My mum stayed for 2 weeks at Lawnfield House. This was the second time that she has stayed there. My mum has Alzheimer's and she suffered a double stroke last year, which left her with a severe stability issue on one side. She was very well cared for and she got on with all the staff and other residents.
I picked her up yesterday and found her to be in good spirits. In all my interactions with the staff, I have found them to be professional, very nice and friendly. I have no concerns with leaving my mum in their care. I would recommend Lawnfield House to anyone.

My Mum has been here 22 months and has had the most amazing treatment. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Her room is clean, bright, homely. Lovely bathroom with shower. I am so glad she is living here.

Lawnfield care home to me can only be described as a home away from home without feeling clinical, which is something that's hard to find. It's bright, spotlessly clean and most of all provides the best care for a loved one. The staff are professional, supportive and caring in every way and they reach
out to not only the resident but to the residents family also.
Management is always approachable and willing to assist with everything.
Most importantly Lawnfield House provides a high standard of care while ensuring the residence remains independent. The care is provided for not only physically but socially and emotionally.
I would highly recommend Lawnfield care home to anyone considering long term care.

My mothers experience at Lawnfield House has been an amazing experience for her. The staff have been so kind and attentive and have treated her with kindness, dignity and respect. My mum can be hard to please and yet she has not has one negative thing to say about Lawnfield House. In fact she loves

My family member was cared for in this home and was very well looked after. Every time I went to visit she was always dressed, clean and in the sitting room.
She had a lovely room there which is nice and bright and was always very clean.
