Manor Lodge is a home from home style care home for the elderly specialising in dementia care. Situated in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of London.

The vision is to provide the best quality care and deliver an activity programme created to benefit physical, mental and social well-being, with a dedicated team of care staff who are trained in all aspects of care and are all experienced in supporting residents living with dementia.

The home provides 16 furnished rooms, half of which benefit from having en-suite facilities. Traditional meals provide a balanced diet and ensure healthy eating for all residents.

The garden is the perfect space for leisurely walks, entertaining and bird watching. The Activity Programme focuses on mind, body and soul through a range of activities such as fitness classes, musical entertainment, arts and crafts, baking, flower arranging and reminiscence games. By getting involved with the activity programme, residents see improvements in their physical health and their emotional well-being.

I visit my mother once a week on a regular basis, and in my experience, I have no complaints. The staff are very kind and caring. The overall standard of support and management is very good.

My husband and I would like to write and say thank you for all the care, support and kindness you showed my father-in-law and us as he slowly deteriorated and passed away on Monday 11th March. We had a DNAR in place but the team helped us set up palliative care in the home enabling him to pass away
peacefully in a place he was so very happy in. At this distressing time we were all able to be with him whenever we wanted. Our son (12) was able to say goodbye in a less sterile place than hospital. We were treated with respect, kindness and love. Thank you.

Manor Lodge is ane extremely kind, caring, peaceful and proactive care home. The care team are individually and together the most wonderful and attentive people. In this smaller home, staff have more time to look after the residents well. My husband is well looked after and enjoys all the activities. The manager helps me to support my husband and is always there to assist me. I like to spend two days a week at the home with my husband.

I have always been made to feel very welcome at Manor Lodge and am free to spend as much time here during my visits that I'd like. The staff are very friendly and courteous and the overwhelming thing is that I have seen a big difference in my friend since he has come here. He looks well cared for, healthier
and a lot stronger than previously. His general health has improved. The home is always very warm and clean and I enjoy visiting my friend a lot.

Since my mother-in-law was moved here earlier this year. We as a family have been so pleased with the outstanding care towards all residents and I feel we are all welcomed as if we are all one big family. My mother-in-law has improved significantly since her arrival, her mind is as sharp as it was before
and her strength is being built up gradually with the help of regular physio. It came to the staff's attention that the previous care home had not put her on the correct dosage of medicines which had caused her to be confused most of the time. This was quickly rectified. All residents are taken into the lounge where they eat, watch tv, play games with the amazing and fun coordinator and generally talk to each other. My mother-in-law did this once in the last care home and that was only on Christmas Day! Here they celebrate all festivals, the food is always great. The staff are very attentive and so helpful. I can’t fault them at all. Wished she was here from the beginning!

I have been at Manor Lodge for a little while now and I receive brilliant care, day in, day out. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the manager is always there when I need her. They keep my family well informed of my care and needs. I like the facilities, especially the garden and I always
take part in the daily activities which provide lots of fun. It’s nice to have other residents to chat with and gives me company when I am away from my family.

The carers are very nice, and all staff are very friendly. The manager, carers and activity coordinator are always helpful. There is a nice atmosphere within the home, and I am always made to feel welcome. All residents are happy to be at Manor Lodge and receive good care.

My Grandma has been here for a few months now and we are all so pleased with the care she is receiving. She is so happy here and is improving so much with her health. All the staff are so helpful and cannot do enough for you, they always have events on that my grandma loves to take part in. She has
also started knitting again which she hasn't done in years. We could not be happier with the service she is getting here.

My aunt has been a resident in Manor Lodge Care Home for many years and is very happy and content there. She enjoys the friendly atmosphere and has always received great care from all the staff. I have found the carers to be very kind and attentive to her physical and emotional needs. The manager is
very approachable and efficient and does all she can to maintain the health and well-being of the residents, staff and visitors, especially so since the Covid pandemic. She strives for high standards throughout but still finds time to assist and reassure relatives should the need arise. Am very pleased with the care provided to my relative.

There is always a friendly atmosphere at Manor Lodge. My in-laws have been residents for a year now and we as a family are very satisfied with the care and support they both receive. The staff are extremely caring and they are always treated with kindness and dignity. We always feel welcome when we

We are welcomed by the staff when we come to visit Mum at Manor Lodge, they are always very happy and kind.
Mum is well looked after and we are very happy with the care that she receives. Mum has been at Manor Lodge for a few years now and has a great connection to all the staff.

I have been very impressed with the home's response to the new variant of Covid. It did mean not seeing the residents as often as I would have liked, but their safety must come first.
The management and staff are extremely friendly and create an atmosphere that shows how much they care about their
residents. I am very confident about the care and well-being of my friend who is a resident there.
Some of his other friends were not very keen about him being placed in a care home, but having witnessed the vast improvement in his general health and more importantly his mental health, they all agree that his placement was the correct thing to do and this home, in particular, provides the care he so desperately needed.
My friend's mental health deteriorated dramatically at the beginning of the pandemic, but since moving into Manor Lodge he immediately showed signs of improvement. Manor Lodge has made a big difference to my friend's quality of life.

I have a friend who has lived at Manor Lodge since 2016. The first time we visited together to view it, we were both struck by the friendly, welcoming atmosphere in a very pleasant home that accommodates residents. My friend was shown 2 possible rooms, one of which was a large pleasant room which he
immediately decided on. Since he has been living there, he has been excellently looked after and his every need has been looked into and addressed. He is very happy there, feels comfortable with the staff and confident in mentioning to the staff any problems or health issues. As his friend, I feel welcomed when I visit and always listened to whenever I have had questions to ask or problems that have needed to be sorted out. A happy and well ordered home for him to live in and be cared for.

Dad has been a resident since 13th January 2017 when he was very kindly offered a place at Manor Lodge at a time when we were experiencing problems with his care at home and decisions being made on Dad's behalf whilst in the hospital by doctors. Since Dad has been a resident, he has been looked after
very well by the managers and staff. He is very happy which makes it for us as a family to spend quality time with him when we visit. Manor Lodge also provides him with 24-hour care and a good routine which he is thriving on. We can't thank the management and the team enough for all the care and support whilst looking after dad.

My mother has been a resident at Manor Lodge for some years now and I can honestly say that I have not any doubt that it can be recommended for any person looking for a homely, loving and caring residential home for themselves or a loved one. The staff are all carefully chosen and offer comfort and
safety with a cheerful attitude. All the residents are kept clean and fresh and all food freshly prepared.
