Nettlestead has deliberately focused on quality rather than quantity, remaining small enough for everybody to know each other, and their clients and their families love it.

Instead of providing care as it has always been done, the owners of Nettlestead asked what they would want from a care home, and the results are what set them apart. Complementary quality wine and sherry, en-suite toilets and baths that you would be delighted to have in your own home, staff who measure their length of service in decades, and outings and activities that are chosen by the clients.

Nettlestead is a very pleasant small care Home. The people working there are always very helpful and cheerful. They look after the residents well and are always friendly.
The home itself is always clean and tidy, activities are on in the lounge most if not all days. There is a nice garden with level
decking, nice seats and a summer house.

My mother has been at Nettlestead for two years now and she couldn't be happier. They strive to make the place a real home from home. Rooms are comfortable as are the communal areas. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to make residents comfortable.

We are very pleased with the high level of care and compassion provided by Nettlestead for my elderly mother who has recently become a resident. All the staff are most helpful and welcoming, making my mother's stay very pleasurable.

We have found that the whole staff are welcoming, very friendly, kind and attentive to the needs of the residents. They also have a good sense of humour which is so important when coping with and reassuring the residents - and their families. There is a warm atmosphere at Nettlestead.
