Norbury Hall Residential Care Home

There are regular activities painting, model making, singing dancing and keep fit. That the staff encourage residance to join in with, there are also day outings events. The building is a grade 2 listed building. Last decorated 13 years ago and now starting to look tired. It could do with some repairs and redecoration to make it look more pleasing and homely

i am very happy with the care that is provided to my mother inlaw i dont have any complaints at all she also seems very happy hear all the staff are very nice.

Our father recently moved to Norbury Hall from an assisted living property. Since taking up residence we have been very pleased with the care and support afforded him at the care home. All the care, administrative and management staff have been very attentive to his needs. We are regularly kept up to date on our father's condition and any concerns or requests we have are immediately addressed. We have also been in direct regular contact with the Care Home's GP who has also been very supportive. We are very grateful to everyone involved at Norbury Hall. The excellent start to our father's residency bodes well for his comfort and care at the home into the future

My mother has been in Norbury Hall around 15 months. I feel that she is well cared for and I am very appreciative of this. The staff are exceptionally caring and respectful in what is a very challenging job. I would recommend Norbury Hall for anyone who is looking for an elderly to be treated with respect and dignity.

My sister has been there since 2020 and the care they provide is second to none! Nothing is too much for the staff and my sister is so happy there. She is always clean and tidy and has a lovely large bedroom. The entertainment is fantastic and meals provided are really great.

My brother moved in to Norbury Hall eight months ago and he has settled in very well there. He is very well cared for by the staff, all of whom are friendly, positive, patient and cheerful. He has gradually become fully involved in the activities that are arranged for the residents and he feels comfortable and secure in this environment. I have found the managers and staff to be helpful and always quick to communicate with me and respond to any issues. The place itself seems to be well supervised, properly maintained and kept clean, and the facilities in the rooms are quite satisfactory. My family and I are very pleased that my brother is living here now.

I cannot praise Norbury Hall enough, my cousin had 3 very happy years here until his death this month. The staff treated him with kindness and dignity. He loved the routine, activities, large bedroom and new friends. I saw him clean, well groomed, dressed well. living in a large, sunny room. I was so impressed with his end of life care with Norbury staff working in conjunction with the hospice nursing staff.

My sister and brother-in-law were admitted to the care of Norbury Hall in August and October of 2022. Both has previously in hospital and had developed dementia. From the very beginning, they were treated with care and compassion by the staff. I visited them once a week until they passed away in April and November 2024. They were treated with dignity and any issues raised were resolved quickly by management. I was always treated very well and kept informed of any falls or illness.

Sadly my mother-in-law didn't have too much time to enjoy Norbury Hall, moving in at the end of December 2023 and dying six weeks later. However, in the time she was there my wife and I were really impressed with the care she received. The building is very clean and well maintained to standards that would not be out of place in the country house hotel it rather resembles, and my mother-in-law (who had high standards in such matters) was very happy with the quality of the food. The staff seem exceptional, every staff member appeared to be genuinely caring and concerned for those in their charge and the communication from them about every stage and aspect of her care was excellent. All in all we are very pleased that she lived her last days in such a pleasant and caring environment and would like to thank all staff for making her last days as easy as possible.

The staff are very good. Very patient with the residents. I am quite happy leaving my husband in their care. He has improved in his ability to do things for himself since being here.

Need to have carpets in rooms or better flooring. The food needs to improve i.e. Some fruit.

My dad has been here at Norbury Hall for 19 months. From the very beginning, the staff have been lovely. So kind and caring to us as a family, especially for my mum. The staff have always welcomed us. We have never had any cause for concern for the care my dad has received and are so happy and pleased he is in this care home.

The staff at Norbury Hall are very caring and pleasant. My sister who stays here is well looked after. The place looks reasonably clean. When we ask them to do anything towards my sister they promptly do. I feel very comfortable to leave my sister here in this care home without any worries. I will recommend this care home to anyone who needs it.
