I will share your review with the team, who will be encouraged by your kind words.
The organisation and hard work put in by the management team, the caterers, the carers, maintenance and the entertainment put on for the residents went over and above expectations.
Attention to details from providing amazing health and safety for everyone on the day , attentive staff ensuring everyone was looked after was amazing.
The choir entertainment brought back memories for my mum and my family that attended, the food and laughter made it feel like I was home with family. This was truly a team effort and I could tell this was not a staged event. It was genuine care at it's very best. Parkview Team take a bow. It was a day that great memories were created through all your individual efforts.
The whole team work even harder during these events to make sure the residents are comfortable, happy and entertained, and we are...
The staff are always friendly when greeting at the door and through out the home and are always around to do anything for the residents and show a genuine interest and level of care that goes above and beyond
The home itself is well ran, clean and well kept with a nice garden for the residents to use and sit in when the weather is right.
Everyone will be greatly encouraged by your kind words.
Excellent Care home overall. Mum has only been a resident for just over a month, but has already settled really well and is very well cared for. All staff genuinely care for the residents and treat them all as individuals. They also are incredibly friendly and supportive to us as a family and especially my Dad, ensuring that the time he spends with Mum at the home is meaningful. Couldn't ask for a better place for my Mum.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review of Parkview House. It is our privilege to care for your Mum. The team work hard to make sure the people that live with us, and their loved ones, feel welcome, happy and cared for, and we are delighted this has been your experience. They will be encouraged to read your kind words.
This was our first visit to the Parkview House Care Home. We came from Ireland, RE Shannon to Stansted, train-tube-bus-walk to see our 99-year-old aunt who has been very sick over the last couple of months and now in the care home. We were to stay for 1-2 hours approx but finished after 4 hours and three-quarters. I am amazed at the warm heartfelt love and care given by all the staff we met. It was like an aura of peace, love and real genuine care from the staff who really enjoy their work. We had a 3-course lunch with Auntie and as good as you would receive at a 4-star hotel. House Care Home at it's best by descrip. You are a lovable team of carers. 10/10.tion
The staff were very welcoming. They looked after my father very well. They were very good with keeping his medication up to date. They took the time to sit and feed him his meals. Always made sure there were drinks available throughout the day. The food was very good. If I need a care home at the end, I would hope to come to this one.
Thank you so much for sharing this. It means a lot to hear how well supported and cared for your loved one felt. The team will be really proud of this feedback.
I just love the Parkview Home and the staff and management team are awesome. They really make you feel welcomed, care for my mum, and she has settled in the home very well. The staff are remarkable they do the best for the residents and always show love and respect to all of the residents. If I have any concerns I can go and speak to the management team or the staff. You have some amazing staff who truly love and care for the residents + their families and always hospitable and welcoming. I feel so at home and always leave the home feeling happy and relaxed. Thank you to all your management team and all the staff.
Your recognition...
Basic care only is provided, which is good. Staff are not trained for enhanced care and fail in many basic hygiene/care activities. Two staff for 17 residents with advanced needs is not enough, they are too stretched and cleaners, activity staff are bridging the gap. Medication protocols and medication rounds (designated time) don't happen to a high standard. Too much time on paperwork, not enough on care. I would rate the home as poor, not good, as it states.
Thank you for your feedback and we are pleased that there are areas that you find work very well. Improvements were needed in some areas and your feedback was helpful.
With staffing levels, we always have more than two carers in each 17-bedded are of the home. It may be that visitors do not...
The care and support my mother receives is excellent. When she was in hospital in May 2025, she was so unhappy and wanted to die. As soon as she came back to Parkview she was happy and has not mentioned dying since. She often tells me,' They fed us all the time'. The manager and care staff, and reception staff are always positive and they knew everyone was and always greeted them with care and affection. Everyone who works in Parkview goes beyond their duty to help make Mum happy.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt message. We are truly touched by your kind words and deeply grateful that you took the time to share your experience. It means the world to us to know that your mother feels happy, safe, and cared for at Parkview House. Our team is dedicated to creating a warm,...
It was a very good experience welcoming and helpful.
Thank you very much for the lovely feedback, we will pass this on to our team.
I honestly can't thank the staff enough they go above and beyond for each individual resident. I have never seen such a lovely care home. It's like one big family! The entertainment they all get and the food is super high standards. I honestly think you guys are all amazing and will continue to appreciate the love and care you all put into the home and residents.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review of Parkview House Care Home. We are thrilled to hear that you and your family have had such a positive experience with us. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care and creating a warm, family-like environment for all our residents....
Anyway, my mum loves her new home, and all the staff in it, and she is a very difficult lady to please.
So well done everyone, you are doing an unbelievable job there, Thank you.
Thank you for your kind review. At Parkview House, we are committed to ensuring that every new resident feels welcomed and that their well-being is our top priority. I will convey your gracious feedback to the entire team. Thank you once again.
First month in Parkview, excellent impression at this time. Staff keep us fully informed, are supportive and helpful, love the ambiance, the different lounges and social aspect. Very clean all staff friendly feel welcome. So far so good!
Thank you for the great review. Your wonderful feedback will be shared with all the colleagues at Parkview House.
Very pleased with the excellent care in Parkview. The staff are wonderful and very caring, and everything is very clean and cheerful. The management team are excellent and very helpful.
Thank you for the lovely review. It will be great to share the feedback with all our colleagues working at Parkview House.
This home is well-maintained, clean and smells fresh. The food is fresh daily, from a well-equipped kitchen. There is a 3-course menu which offers choices. The staff are welcoming, approachable and supportive. Management team spends time listening, directing and gathering information from families and other individuals to give a tailor-made service to the people they are caring for. Working with family is promoted, I feel I am working in partnership. I feel more staff are needed to give more one-to-one time.
Excellent open-door policy.
My mother became a resident at Parkview in 2022. Since that time it was clear that she became a favourite of all the staff. She kept them entertained with her humour and wit, which was something that awful disease failed to take away from her. She passed on 3/11/23 and I know she will be sorely missed by everyone there. We are so grateful for the care she received whilst in there.
My nan came to Parkview in October aged 97. She is mobile and compos mentis, however, she was very lonely and isolated in her house on her own. Nan has flourished since she came here. She is able to get between her room and the dining/lounge/tea area on her own. Nan has regained much of the memory she was losing due to not eating as well as she needed and is enjoying joining in with the activities on offer. Nan now feels safe and enjoys her food and having people around her. The staff are extremely helpful and kind, that was my first impression of the home, that it was a kind and caring place to be. Nan has gained her independence, not lost it. Thank you.
I live abroad and over the years I've always popped into see ***** who I love very much and I always leave with a happy heart as I know she is always looked after. The staff are so friendly and informal and it always feels like someone's home rather than a nursing home. And it's very rare to leave a nursing home with a smile on your face. You guys are doing a great job and I'm putting my name on the waiting list for a room when I get to that point in my life. Keep up the good work and much appreciated.
The staff at Parkview go over and beyond to make sure residents are happy and well cared for. My dad has settled well and the carers have done all they can to make sure all his needs are met. My mum has always been made very welcome when visiting my dad and carers and office staff. Have always checked on her well-being. Generally, it is a lovely homely home. Thank you.
