The Priory residential care home is an amazing place, it's hard to find the right words to praise it highly enough.
In every situation where the parent and child role reverses and you become responsible for finding your parents somewhere safe, it's hard to make that final decision. The biggest fear
is whether they will be cared for, The Priory dispelled all our concerns by being open, honest and transparent in every communication, visit and touch point. The staff are caring, attentive, and understanding. They're absolutely amazing and do a sterling job. I could name them individually, but it would probably use up the character limits to this post. Everyone goes above and beyond. I can't thank, praise or give enough commendations for this absolutely amazing residence.

Priory Residential Home is certainly a home. It is such a lovely homely place the manager, the deputy manager and administrator and every member of staff could not be more friendly and accommodating if they tried I visit regularly. The residents always looked clean and well cared for. The food looks
great. And most importantly the Priory make you feel like it is a home from home. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere caring to look after their loved ones

I would certainly recommend The Priory Care Home for your loved ones.


All the staff there treat their residents with love and respect. They have a varied entertainments schedule and it is clear that they enjoy making their residents happy.


When my mother-in-law was a resident, she was always

well cared for and we were constantly kept informed of any health concerns and Doctors/District Nurses requested when needed. A care plan was discussed with us and our requests/concerns were valued and supported.


Not only did they look after my Mother in Law, but took time and effort to support my Father in Law, encouraging him to visit her however many times a week he could and to even have lunch cooked for him to enjoy with her. He often telephoned The Priory to enquire after her health and to say goodnight to her. They never once got annoyed with his constant calls but instead showed great compassion to him. Nothing was ever too much effort for them.

My Mum moved into the Priory earlier this year, this was a very difficult decision for me but I can honestly say all the staff took the time with us to ensure Mum felt happy. The staff always seem patient and friendly and have taken time to help Mum feel comfortable. When I visit, Mum is always clean
and her hair is brushed (these things mean a lot), they assist her with her food and give encouragement to eat and drink.
She has a lovely room which is always clean and tidy.
I always feel comfortable when I visit and the staff are always pleasant.
It's a family feeling home.
Hoping Covid disappears and we see more activities.
Would definitely recommend.

My Mum has been in the Priory Residential Home Ltd for four years now. She has been very well looked after and the staff are always cheerful. They are very good at keeping us informed when Mum has been unwell and what the doctors have said. The food is prepared on-site and seems nice. The entertainment
is a bit lacklustre although Mum does enjoy the singing. There is a good-sized garden which is nice to sit in and is mainly laid to lawn and shrubs. Would be nice to have some raised beds, which the more abled residents could help with plus a patio area with better access.

Cannot fault the Priory and their standard of care and compassion. Every member of staff is friendly and approachable and take the time to get to know all the residents. The understanding and confidence they have given to my nan is outstanding and given her a new lease of life. The staff provide plenty
of activities and keep her entertained. Cannot thank the Priory enough and couldn't recommend a better place.

Cannot fault the care my Nan received at Priory Residential Home. All staff were kind, helpful, considerate, caring and made it a pleasant experience for me and for my Nan. In particular, at the very end, the staff were amazing. You have staff at your establishment that clearly care about their residents

Mum has been at the home for two years - been very happy. The staff are lovely, helpful and Mum is always smiling. Recently there is a change in the atmosphere. Some of the staff have left, a change in management, staff shortages and they are running themselves into the ground. Yet they are all still
being wonderful to residents. Just worried more will leave. Management needs to look after the staff. I can see it and I'm only a visitor.

The Priory is a clean, comfortable home. Always warm.
Residents are looked after well. Their clothes, underwear are kept clean and we are informed if new clothes are needed. Their hair and nail cutting are on a regular basis. Nail varnish is often a garish colour bit provides entertaining comments.

Sadly, due to our current activities workers ill health, we have invested in another activities worker who will be working on alternate days. This home has been welcoming from the start. From the manager supporting us and being incredibly caring to arrange a room and give us advice to all the staff who have helped. We love this home. The activities are amazing and my wife has never done so much.

Our mum has now been in The Priory for almost a year and we are very happy with her care. The staff treat her with dignity and are very caring. We can't complain about anything in the home as it almost feels like a home from home. She is very safe there and any problems that have arisen have been pointed
out to us immediately.


The staff, although extremely busy at all times, ensure that all the residents are cared for and I can honestly say that as we can no longer look after our mum any more, we feel relieved that our mum is in good hands.


We would be happy to recommend The Priory to anyone as we have been lucky to have found such a good caring residential home.

My two-week stay has been quite enjoyable. Everyone has been very kind. Although I've enjoyed my stay, two weeks is long enough. I would like to come back at some point again.

Since my Nan and Grandad became residents here earlier this year. My whole family have been extremely happy with the care they are receiving. All members of the staff are helpful and obviously love their jobs. This is reflected in the way the residents respond to the staff and the smiles on their faces.
