Overall this care home is superb.
Initially, my father in law was meant to go somewhere closer to his home for respite but, upon arrival, we realised this wasn't appropriate and contacted the Priory Care Home as it was only up the road from our house (me and son).
Initially, we only wanted advice
and costings but within 24 hours my father in law was settling in for his 7-night stay, the manager made the process so easy.
The residents including my father in law are all well looked after and there is nothing the staff won't do to help.
All in all, I would have no hesitation to send my father in law back on holiday (respite break) to this lovely, lovely care home.
Sensory room, lounge and conservatory are beyond lovely and the residents' rooms are very homely!

The staff are lovely and I appreciate everything they all do for my aunt.

The care in the home is excellent and all the staff I have had dealings with have been very good. My mother is content and cared for and that is the important thing.
My only criticism is the overall condition of the The Priory is it's 'Shabby' I appreciate that at the moment they are having some decorating
done to try and improve.

We are very pleased with The Priory, with all the activities and care that mum has. Mum is very happy to be there and enjoys all what she does. Sometimes not very happy with the night staff, have told them not to do mum's hair - we do it every week, wash and set.

I live in the US so only see my mother once a year. My mother has been a resident for 7 years, she is happy at the Priory. I have always found the staff and management extremely helpful and caring towards my mother.

My grandma came to stay at Priory Residential Home on a temporary basis as was going to move her closer to home. But as Priory Residential Home is such a good home and my grandma is being so well looked after we have decided for her to stay at Priory. Staff are all lovely and very helpful. Home is very

I am very impressed with this care home, they have looked after my mum for nearly 2 years. Sadly she has just passed away. The last 6 months have been very hard as she deteriorated by not walking, then not eating, they tried so hard to feed her with extra cream etc. in her food and drinks but sadly
she gave up eating. All staff are very caring.

My late father was a resident of The Priory from the 29th of May 2013 until 5/7/2015.
My father had vascular dementia, I would go up and see him along with our dog. When I saw him at the care home he was well looked after he was treated with dignity, respect and if there was any type of problem or
emergency, the care home would notify me straight away to inform me what has happened.
The management staff and care staff are very patient and understanding and very supportive of the residents and the family. The overall care that my father received was very good and I cannot fault the care home at all. I can't thank them enough for everything they did, looking after my father and supporting him, myself and the family.

My father has been here almost 2 months now. He arrived from hospital in a poor state, unable to walk, bordering on palliative care needs. He is now far more aware, feeding myself, he stands albeit aided, but no longer requires a winch. His diet is stabilised and he no longer needs insulin. His overall
health and well-being is much improved. There have been mistakes but they have come with admission - apology and correction. Thank you.

We are very happy with the care mum is receiving. She is herself happy and always clean and tidy when we come to visit. The staff are always friendly and answer any queries we have. The meals always appear to be appetising and mum has no problem finishing them off.

We would like to praise every single carer. They are caring and compassionate towards mum and to us as her family. The home is spotless and the rooms are kept warm and comfortable. Our only comment would be around retention of staff, some really good staff have been lost and the gap of an activity
worker had a big impact on mum's mood.
