My husband only goes one day per week, although doesn't remember anything of the day or having lunch. He does seem quite happy and ok to go the following week.

For the second time in 5 weeks, I have had to fly over from Gibraltar for my mother in law's pre-assessment to have her cataracts removed. Thanks to the staff, I know now that there was no need for the hospital to ask for my consent under the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Unfortunately, I had already booked my flights and came over last week purely because I wanted to see her. She was also hospitalised a few weeks ago due to a leg injury and staff kept me up to date and helped find out things as I was unable to go over at the time. One member of staff has updated me on absolutely everything to do with my mother in law albeit the need for clothes which she has shopped for and keeping me updated on her medical issues. Some may say this is part of her job but for me it's much more being so far away. She is dedicated and I can see from the rapport she has with the staff that everyone loves her. This member of staff has now become a family member of whom we are pleased to embrace.

Parkview is very clean my mother-in-law is well cared for by very helpful and friendly staff of all levels. Her room is always tidy and clean and my mother-in-law always looks well presented and clean. She enjoys her little trips out with care staff who always have her best interests at heart. I could not wish for a better care home for her she is very happy there.

My dad is ex-army, very time and routine driven and doesn't like journeys or change.
However, luckily staff knew dad would get involved and benefit from a visit to Buckingham Palace with 'The Unforgotten Society'.
Dad was thrilled to be invited and on his return has talked animatedly about it since - retaining all the details.

Big thanks to all involved.

The care my mum receives is exceptional, the staff are attentive, patient, kind and caring. They help to take some of the guilt away from the family knowing that my mum is in such a caring and comfortable environment. The staff are amazing.

The care home staff are always very helpful, they are very caring and friendly. They also notify us if my mum is not well or the doctors have come to see her and given any medication. We are notified of any problems if my mum needs anything different from home, such an underwear, clothing and toiletries that she prefers. They all treat her really well and she is very happy there.

Mum has only been here for a month and we have found the staff excellent and very understanding. It is taking Mum a while to settle in but everyone is so helpful and kind, not only easing Mum in, but also putting the family at ease.

I have only good things to say about Parkview. My mum has been there for about 3 years and the staff take fantastic care of her. They are friendly and obviously very hard working. However, when we come to visit, we always get offered a drink and some biscuits. The home put on events for the residents and we are always invited to attend. I cannot fault the care my mum receives and we, as a family, are very happy with the care she gets.

The home is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is of a good quality and fulfils my father's dietary needs. His room is of a good size and kept clean. He always appears clean and well dressed. The home has a good activities team who endeavor to keep residents occupied. There is a nice garden with new and modern furniture. Overall, very pleased with facilities.

Myself and my three brother's visited this home for our mother. All of the staff were very helpful. The team leader was a great host and she made us very welcome and answered so many of our questions. The home is lovely and bright, it feels welcoming and has great facilities. We thought it was great that residents can get involved in everyday tasks, such as making their own tea and washing up. The team were so upbeat and positive it was a lovely experience. I would recommend to others.
