Ryelands care home delivers residential and residential dementia care for 50 residents, in purpose-built, en suite accommodation. The home is situated within beautifully landscaped grounds in the centre of Wallington, close to the town centre, national rail and local bus routes.

Refurbished in July 2025, it’s a wonderfully welcoming space, designed to help the home provide tailored care in a warm, supportive and safe environment. Short-term respite care is also available.

The care home offers alternative therapies such as music therapy to help combat isolation and the symptoms for those living with dementia. The dedicated Chaplain at the home also provides companionship and pastoral support for residents and their families.

At the home, the Activity Coordinators ensure residents are kept physically and mentally entertained through a varied activity schedule with something to suit everybody's interests, including armchair exercises, arts and crafts, yoga, quizzes and outdoor activities.

My husband has been at Ryelands for five years during which time he has been well cared for by polite, friendly and helpful staff many of whom are long-term employees a great advantage.
The atmosphere during visits is welcoming and residents appear generally comfortable and are very supportive of each
other.
The management has changed recently and their si now a different more "business-like ethos which feels slightly less friendly towards residents visitors than previous informal approach.

Kind, friendly, very caring and thoughtful staff.
Lots of activities; activities coordinators. Music therapy. Lots of external concerts and entertainment. Lovely grounds - safe area for residents with dementia. Christian services and part-time vicar to ensure Methodist ethos.

My mother has lived at Ryelands for eight and a half years. She is very happy and settled there. The care given by staff is excellent and standards are generally very high. There are usually several activities each day for residents if they choose to participate. Special events, residents birthday
celebrations and fundraising events are held regularly, sometimes with visiting entertainers.
On a daily basis the food is good, nutritious without being 'fussy' with a choice at most meals. The chaplain is often on site and provides residents with a church service twice a week. Whenever I or other family members visit the staff are always welcoming and helpful and there is a warm friendly atmosphere in the home.

My mother has been cared for at Ryelands for over 8 years. The quality of care has been outstanding throughout that time. There is a great sense of purpose in valuing each resident as an important member of the community. The staff always have time for the residents and visitors alike. They show patience
and compassion, serving the needs of individuals in an environment of family belonging and love. In my work I have visited a large number of residential care homes, but I have never found one that matches the high standards achieved at Ryelands. I have no hesitation in recommending it in the strongest terms.
