Shaftsbury Court provides a comfortable, safe, clean, happy and person-centred environment for my mother-in-law. She can relax in her own space, see her friends in the lounge, cinema room or gardens and take part in the many activities- she especially enjoys karaoke, sing-alongs and the fete tombola! The management and staff at Shaftesbury Court listen, care and go above and beyond- thank you!

Mum has been really happy since being at Shaftesbury Court. She settled in really well with the support of the attentive staff and management team. We are very confident as a family that Mum is well looked after and cared for.

She absolutely loved it, she said thecare and support she received was excellent, my mind was put at rest as soon as she booked in, as the were so welcoming, professional and knowledgeable.,
Lovely accommodation and great food too.
She would definitely go back for another stay.

Excellent care. The most important thing for a care home.
Thank you for your kind words. We're so pleased to hear your positive feedback, as providing excellent, compassionate care is at the heart of everything we do. It means a great deal to know this has been felt.
Over the last few years, mum became quite isolated, living alone and struggling with dementia. Shaftesbury Court has given her the chance to socialise with others, take part in regular activities and maintain some independence. She has her own room with a small kitchen and was able to bring many of her possessions from home.
There are good days and bad days of course but the staff (and the other residents) are all so supportive that mum is doing better than she has for a long time. Really thankful to everyone at Shaftesbury Court for taking care of her.
Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. It's wonderful to hear how well your mum has settled and how the supportive environment is helping her enjoy more independence and connection. It means a great deal to know she feels cared for.
My husband has been back to Shaftesbury Court because they look after him very well and he is happy to be here. He has been there three times.
Thank you for sharing such kind feedback. It's wonderful to hear that your husband feels so well supported during his stays and that he is happy and comfortable each time he returns.
I only have praise for this home!!! My mum-in- law (Marie) has moderate vascular dementia and the care she is receiving here is absolutely wonderful. The staff are just brilliant with her, and she is looking far better than she has ever been since her diagnosis. Her room is light and airy with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The building itself and the communal facilities are well-kept, clean and bright. The staff really care about her welfare and go above and beyond. I am so impressed at how friendly and patient they are and they have really helped ease my and my husband's worries about mum's welfare. They are also proactive in terms of suggesting things that could be improved for my mum's care - and that counts for a lot!! They also have really good safekeeping procedures in place which has further contributed to easing our worries about mum's welfare. Thank you very much to Olu and every single member of the team for all the help with mum, brilliant job!
Thank you for sharing such heartfelt feedback. It means so much to hear how well your loved one is settling and how supported she feels. We're delighted that the welcoming environment, dedicated team and thoughtful care have brought comfort and reassurance to your family. Your kind words about the home and the team's commitment to her wellbeing are truly appreciated.
I didn't want or consider Erith as a location but calculated it to be accessible and I realised my mum, once settled, wouldn't be aware of the difference between Erith and locations in Greenwich.
My mum has lived at the home for a week now and, her life and mine have changed for the better. My mum arguably wasn't this happy, looked after and attended to when she was staying at my house. Totally recommended on every level, more like a hotel than the normal care home.
Thank you to Olu and all the staff here - wonderful people, you are making the world a better place.
Thank you so much for sharing such thoughtful feedback. It is wonderful to hear that your mum has settled so well and that life feels easier for you too. We are delighted that the home feels welcoming and comfortable for you both and that our team have made such a positive difference.

My overall view of Shaftbury Court, is that the staff are very nice, the manager has always time to listen to any issues and staff, my mother is very happy there, they attend to any problems that arise promptly with medical problems and always call to say if she has urine infection, bloods done and doctor informed so medicines can be prescribed, very happy with her care!

My mother has been at Shaftesbury Court for respite care, and it's been genuinely life-changing for her and for me. Before arriving, she was anxious and lonely at home, but here she's become calm, sociable, and truly content.
The staff are wonderful - caring, patient, and attentive. Mum feels safe, supported, and valued, and she's told me several times how much she loves it there and would like to stay permanently.

During my dads stay at Shaftesbury Court he was always made to feel valued by staff and when in and out of hospital was always greeted "home" with a warm welcome, which was greatly appreciated. I was welcomed to visit at any time, as often as I liked and I felt that I had a warm and friendly relationship with staff. I trusted staff to care for my dad when I couldn't, and I could always be sure that the phone would be answered - day and night - or that I would be contacted as required - or as my dad desired, by staff that were attentive and genuinely caring. My dad's individual and unique needs were always well met with a person centred approach and I know that his relationships with individual staff members were highly valued.
