In our case, they have helped my mother settle in, have noticed when she is not her usual self and helped us get a timely and effective intervention.
In smaller details too, they have been so helpful, knowing her “shopping list” and helping her wonderful hairdresser have access to their saloon so Mum can have her hair done just how she likes it.
Every time I visit, they are very welcoming and seek me out if there is anything particular they need me to think about with them.
I get prompt, kind and helpful responses to any queries by email or phone. They are a wonderful staff team, and we owe them a huge thank you.
Here at Spring Lane, we endeavour to provide the very best experience for our residents and their families. Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words with us; these will be shared with the team.

I visit on a regular basis. The staff are amazing and always very welcoming. I share Power of Attorney with a member of my friend's family, and communications with Spring Lane are clear and frequent.
There are lots of activities available, and the residents are treated with great care and dignity.
There is no doubt that Spring Lane is one of the best residential homes in North London - if not the best.

Very clean and well-maintained. Whenever I visit my stepmother is always washed and dressed in clean clothes, her hair done and even has her lipstick on. Her personal care is excellent. There are lots of activities organised for any resident who wants to take part. She is very happy at Spring Lane and her quality of life has improved immensely since going into care.

My experience of Spring Lane has been very positive. I need to arrange some urgent respite care for my parents and the management team was responsive and accommodating of this request at short notice. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the overall atmosphere as you arrive at Spring Lane is tranquil and well-organised which immediately puts one at ease. My parents were looked after superbly and the carers are respectful and kind. Whilst they understand that the residents need some private time in their rooms, they encourage them to engage with other residents to feel part of the community at Spring Lane. My parents had lovely clean and comfortable rooms and a highlight of their stay was the outstanding meals which they enjoyed immensely.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, which I will pass on to all the staff at Spring Lane; your kind comments are much appreciated. It was our pleasure to care for your parents, and we look forward to welcoming them back to Spring Lane again.

Spring Lane was my mother’s home for nearly six years, from her becoming physically less able and being in a wheelchair until being bedbound and mentally less with us for the last 18 months of her life. Mum was comfortable and well cared for. Her room was always clean and tidy. The staff accommodated her changing needs and treated her with dignity and empathy. They were always friendly and welcoming to the family when we visited and on the phone, always answering any concerns we had. Mum was unable to join the activities in later years, but the weekly programme always looked impressive. Mum returned to Spring Lane after a few days in the hospital for her end-of-life care, and the carers were happy to have her, again showing their sensitive consideration and great care. I can highly recommend Spring Lane.
Thank you for your kind feedback and for sharing your experience, which I will pass on to all the staff at Spring Lane. Your mother was a lovely lady, and it was our pleasure to care for her. Best wishes to you and to your family.

I recently took a short break, and management made sure that I was able to Skype mum while away, which really put my mind at rest as I could see she was being well cared for and that she was happy. The rooms and facilities are lovely and always kept clean and well-maintained. Thank you.

I would like to say a special thanks to her carers for their kindness and humour throughout her time here.

We chose Spring Lane for our mum as it came recommended; we liked what we saw, and it offered end-of-life care. Mum spent her last four years there, and we weren't disappointed. She enjoyed the variety of activities laid on for residents and was kept active and entertained. Covid lockdowns were difficult, but the staff did all they could to keep residents happy, healthy and entertained. They enabled us to stay in contact with Mum and meet with her when safe to do so. In the last year of her life, Mum grew frailer and was bed-bound for her last four months. Any concerns we had about Mum's increasing care needs were dealt with quickly, compassionately and effectively. Together, with the hospice care team, Mum and our family were given support at the end of her life. The day before she died, a musician sang for her in her room as she was not strong enough to join the sing-a-long downstairs. Mum died peacefully of old age, and we are very grateful to the caring Spring Lane 'family.'
Thank you so much for your kind review, which will be passed on to all staff at Spring Lane. Your mum was a lovely lady, and it was our absolute pleasure to care for her. She became very much a part of the Spring Lane family. Thank you for trusting us with her care. We all miss her terribly and your frequent visits too. I am sending my love and best wishes to you and all your family.

My mother spent eight weeks in Spring Lane for rehab following a fall. She had a lovely, clean and comfortable room and particularly liked seeing the trees outside her window. She was very well cared for, and it was helpful that she had a specified key member of staff who I could always talk to about her welfare. There was a full programme of interesting activities, which I thought was an outstanding feature of this care home. Mum enjoyed many of them and joined in with something every day. I was made to feel welcome, and whenever I visited, there was a calm and well-organised feel to the place. When I visited, to collect some of her things in the pre-breakfast period, one day, the residents were sitting in the main lounge listening to some classical music - this was lovely for mum. The reception staff were wonderful, and they knew Mum and were always willing to sort out any query, however small. Mum made a full recovery and didn't want to leave when the time came.
Thank you for your lovely review of Spring Lane. It was our pleasure to care for your mum. We work hard to ensure all residents receive the highest quality of care within our home. Your kind comments will be passed on to the team.
My father has been so well looked after at Spring Lane Care Home. The staff are so welcoming and caring towards him and ourselves. We are all sad to say goodbye.

My mother unexpectedly joined Spring Lane in July 2022. Her stay was relatively short, but during that time, we found the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful in settling her in. The communication between the administrative staff was very good, and nothing was too much trouble during the transition period. The rooms are spacious, and everywhere is spotless. There is a very pleasant garden where visitors can enjoy the surroundings when visiting a relative. I have nothing but praise for all the staff and would not hesitate in recommending Spring Lane care home.

Dad wasn't at Springlane for long, but it was a happy and contented time for him. Staff were, without exception, kind, attentive and professional. Communication on administrative matters was also excellent. Dad's recent death was dealt with in a sensitive and extremely considerate manner.
I will always be grateful to the staff at Spring Lane for their excellent care of Dad. It means a lot. Thank you to all you lovely, kind and devoted people.

My mother, who has Alzheimer's, moved into Spring Lane two weeks ago. She has seemed very content from the beginning on lots of different levels. Her room is clean and spacious; she has a lovely view, the staff are kind and considerate, the food is of an excellent standard and there is always something going on in the main foyer where the residents like to sit. My mother enjoys sitting and watching people coming and going, and it feels like she is part of a community there. The management is highly experienced, has been there a long time and really knows what they are doing. There is also a lovely garden at the back of the home where I like to sit with my mum when I visit. We did have reservations before she moved in about whether a home would be right for her, but not anymore - she is really content, and it was the right decision for her. I would highly recommend Spring Lane.

I was surprised to be told that they would get her walking (with a walking trolley) in a few weeks.
She certainly can now walk confidently around the home.
The staff are always happy to discuss the resident's welfare and progress
She had several bouts of illness, and doctors and paramedics were brought in very quickly.
Visitors always feel welcome here, and the home is beautifully clean.
My sister enjoys visiting the small garden, which is a riot of colourful flowers.
There is a very high standard of care here, and I know my sister is being cared for more than adequately.
Thank you for your wonderful review of Spring Lane. Our team members will be thrilled to hear your positive and kind feedback. We pride ourselves on understanding our residents' needs to respect their independence and give them a real sense of being at home.

My relative has many physical and psychological frailties, and yet, on the whole, I feel he has been looked well looked after. Most staff are able to deal with people with mental health needs, but some need more training in this aspect.
The manager leads her team very well, and the home has clear rules that keep things running efficiently, smoothly and safely, and yet, there is flexibility when needed. There is good communication through the excellent reception, and staff always respond quickly to contact requests.
The location is good with buses, shops and cafés nearby. There is a small but adequate garden and easy car parking.
It would be nice to see the lounge enlarged into the wasted frontage space so that residents can view the outside world even when they can’t get out.
Thank you for your kind feedback and for sharing your experience, which I will pass on to all the staff at Spring Lane. We are very proud of our staff for their hard work during these challenging times; they will really appreciate knowing that you have taken the time to review their hard work.

I began my career in care when I was 16 via volunteering at the local older people’s lunch club. I knew from this time that I wanted to pursue a career in care and took a role as a carer for adults with learning disabilities whilst continuing with my volunteering role. When I moved to London I had the wonderful opportunity of being able to do a modern apprenticeship in a care home for older people. I knew straight away that I had found the ideal job for me.I am passionate about ensuring people are cared for in the way they want, that promotes and enables them to live life as they would to choose to.
I have worked in various care homes in the charitable, local authority and private sector. I have been working at Spring Lane since 2013 and have never looked back, I have progressed from Carer to Unit Manager. Spring Lane really has a home-from-home atmosphere and a caring community spirit.

“I was a late joining the nursing profession and after a career in chemical manufacturing/processing, I decided to retrain as a registered nurse.
During my nurse training, I worked regular shifts as a care assistant in various care homes to both enhance my skills and support my family.
In 2008, I finally qualified as a registered nurse and worked on an acute medical ward, completed my preceptorship and built on my nursing skills and knowledge.
Although I enjoyed my time in a hospital ward, I missed the ‘community’ within a care home and decided to devote my career to supporting people who live in care homes, joining Springdene Group in 2014.
I am proud to work for Springdene Nursing and Care Homes, especially as staff, are committed to bringing joy and enrichment to residents' lives, and how each home has a unique identity and resident community.”
