St Theresa's is a special place. From our first visit, it was clear that the management and staff care about their residents in all aspects of their needs. The manager has been supportive of my family during a very difficult time, going above and beyond with her care, attention and professionalism. The home itself is clean and welcoming with a lovely garden and a variety of activities for residents. The other residents always seemed happy, well cared for and content.

My mum has been at St Theresa's for a year now.
We chose St Theresa's after carefully reviewing all similar homes in the area.
We find it a very caring and a well-run home.
We like the fact that the staff are experienced, thoughtful and caring when looking after elderly people.
The senior management/owners are always present and available.
Overall, we have found St Theresa's a warm, understanding and caring home, and a place that I can trust to look after Mum well and safely.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent care home for those of you looking for a place for your loved ones.

My mother-in-law was at St Theresa's from April 2017 until she sadly passed away in February 2019.

The family chose St Theresa's after reading reviews of local care homes and visiting St Theresa's. Our first impression was of an extremely well-run care home with very caring staff. This proved to be the case. My mother-in-law was looked after by a very happy and caring team. The management were excellent and the staff made her feel like one of the family. St Theresa's does not use agency staff so every member of the team knew my mother-in-law personally and she was so happy there. I cannot praise or recommend St Theresa's highly enough.

My sister has been at St Theresa's for the last 6 months and I can't express how thankful I was to find it. My sister was sixty-four and suffering from vascular mixed dementia and they have made her feel very welcome and safe. She loves the carers who are kind and understanding of her needs. I have been extremely impressed with the management team who are always available with an open door. As you can imagine a very difficult time and they have been there to comfort and support me. I would not hesitate to recommend this home.

Our Mum has been a resident for just about 12 months now.
St Theresa's has been a great choice.
All the staff are very caring towards Mum, who is not always the most co-operative resident.
Her medical needs are always seen to rapidly.

Mum always seems to be happy and content when we visit.

My mother has now been at St Theresa’s for just over a year and I don’t think we could have made a better choice.
The first time I entered St Theresa’s, it felt comfortable, friendly and welcoming and was clearly very well run.
The manager and staff can’t do enough for my mother and they are always happy to help with any issues

I would strongly recommend St Theresa’s to anyone looking for a care home for a member of their family.

My mum was here at St Theresa's Rest Home for 8 months and I am so glad that I chose this home for her. I could not fault any of the care that my mum received. She was happy and content the whole time she was here. Her last days she was treated with dignity and compassion and I was happy here rather than in a hospital.

The manager and all the staff are second to none in the care industry and if any of my friends or family need a care home I would not hesitate to recommend St Theresa's Rest Home.

My late aunt spent her last 2 years in the excellent care of the staff at St Theresa's.
Despite her ever-worsening condition she was always treated with dignity and given all attention necessary.
After reviewing several homes I chose the St Theresa's not just because of its rating but also because I wanted her to stay in a smaller, friendly home where she would receive personal attention and remain part of a 'family'.
Of course, the facilities, cleanliness and food are excellent but it's the individual, personal care that is provided to residents that makes the home stand out.

I have no issues at all with any aspect of my aunt's care and greatly appreciate the staff's efforts in making her last years as comfortable as possible. I, therefore, have no reservations about recommending the home to others.

I phoned various Care Homes in Enfield and found St Teresa's Rest Home to be the most helpful and the communication was clear and concise.
The family then visited St Teresa's and found it to clean, tidy, well organised and the staff helpful and chatty. The manager was very knowledgeable when discussing my grandmother's medical needs.
My grandmother was not settling very well and was quite cantankerous. They got her eating and drinking (while she clutched her handbag) and she got her newspaper every day.
Throughout her stay, her carers were understanding and patient and she soon came round to her new surroundings.

Unfortunately, her health was deteriorating rapidly due to Anaemia and Kidney Failure and the manager was able to sort out visits from nurses to tend to her and Marie Curie ladies came to sit with her day and night, so when my grandmother did pass away in the early hours she was comfortable and with a friendly face. All we could have asked for. We couldn't have wished for a better care home.

My partner was in St Theresa's for just short of 2 years. She passed away on the 9th August 2017 with what seemed to be a heart attack and I was made aware as soon as it happened.

They had made her life a lot better from the time she was admitted, peaceful and quiet, which I was very thankful.

Last Christmas my family needed to find a home urgently for my father after a sudden deterioration in his dementia. We were impressed with our initial visit to St.Theresa's and the manager could not have been more friendly and reassuring but at the same time absolutely professional when she came to assess. We were greatly helped with the move-in process and from day one, were impressed with the standard of care. Kindly and experienced staff were always on hand whenever anything was needed. No-one sitting distressed in corners waiting for someone to help and an atmosphere of calm always prevailed even when someone became agitated. Our father, though distressed and indeed difficult at times, clearly benefitted from being amongst others in a similar situation to his own and we were assured that he was never too much trouble. We are enormously grateful to the manager and all the staff at St.Theresa's and would happily recommend them to anyone finding themselves in a similar situation.

My mother was very difficult when starting at the care home. They worked very hard with her and she became very settled and enjoyed her time at St. Theresa's.
They looked after her so well. The staff were all so well trained by the manager. It was such a happy place to be. They looked after her until the end of her life which was made so easy by their kindness and understanding and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for her.

Thank you.

When my mother left hospital after surgery in October 2014 she was no longer able to live in her own home. She arrived at St Theresa's confused, panicky and extremely unhappy. The staff assured the family that she would gradually settle and that we shouldn't worry. The time it took Mum to settle was probably a fair bit longer than the staff anticipated but they never tired of trying out different ways to keep her calm and cheerful. What Mum really responded to in those early days was the affectionate, tactile approach of the Carers and their big smiles! They have a lot of expertise in caring for Dementia sufferers and after a time it was clear that Mum felt just as secure in the company of St Theresa's staff as she did when family visited. We visited several times a week throughout the two and a half years that Mum was resident in the Home and never regretted our choice of St Theresa's Care Home. Mum died peacefully in the Home - the quality of her care sustained to the very end.

I am a friend of one of the elderly male residents who has been in the home for six years.
The care of the residents could not be improved as it is excellent.
The meals are all home cooked and varied.
It is very clean, no smells, and very homely.
I cannot visit the home as much as I would like, but I am kept updated regularly.

It is well managed and I would have no hesitation in going there myself or recommending anyone else.

Dad came into St Theresa's Rest Home in July. He had Alzheimer's and Vascular dementia. Dad was difficult and strong willed and was very hard work, but he finally settled in after a couple of months. The carers were very kind and had a good sense of humour. His room was newly decorated and St Theresa's Rest Home is undergoing a refurbishment. The residents seem contented and comfortable. The food is very good and cooked on the premises. If you have any problems there is always someone on hand to ask for help. Very homely.

I found the overall care for my uncle was very good - the care and support for him was excellent during difficult times for him - the staff were always there available to help him and also helped when requiring hospital/doctor visits. The management team kept me up to date with any health issues/doctors visits and listened to any concerns I expressed. Rooms were kept very clean and were of good size. The food was all cooked on the premises to a very high healthy standard which my uncle always enjoyed. The premises is very safe with locks on all external doors. The care home is excellent value for money and I would recommend this home to anyone. The owners and staff really do care for there residents and treat people with the dignity they deserve.
