Clara Court

I am very pleased with the home and its staff. All had smiles on their faces and were polite nad professional. The home was far removed from my vision of a care home. It was modern, clean and bright. My wife was a lot brighter when I picked her up and she was full of praise for the staff. If my wife has to go for respite in the future I hope she goes into this home. Thanks.

I visit my friend here at Clara Court. Staff are very friendly and helpful and look after my friend very well. I get tea and coffee and always a choice of cake or biscuit. My friend is very happy.

My late wife has been a resident at Clara Court for the past 5 years. She was a proud lady who didn't accept help from anyone (including me) easily. The care and consideration of staff has always been excellent. Before she became a resident, she was having twice daily visits by carers and rarely getting out of bed. The activities and community spirit, film evenings and visiting entertainers have been a life saver. My own relationship with staff has been excellent and they have always responded to my requests. The manager and staff are doing a fantastic job and I thank them sincerely.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the welcoming, warm and friendly atmosphere here. My husband settled immediately and is perfectly happy.

When I visit my friend, I am always impressed by the caring and friendly attitude to both myself and more importantly to my friend, the resident. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

It was the beautiful day at the seaside. It brought back good memories family holiday. I had an amazing day. Staff were marvellous, I am so lucky to be living here. I used to look forward to my holidays and I am happy that I am still to go whilst living in a care home.

I am delighted with the care and treatment which my friend is receiving from the staff, both upstairs and downstairs.

My mum is receiving palliative care from the nurses and doctors - the care is just wonderful they even take care of me when I visit. I can not praise them all too highly and my mother loves them all so thank you all.

My mother has been in Clara Court for nearly 3 weeks due to respite care whilst my sister (who is her carer) has been away on holiday. My mother says how lovely the staff are and very helpful. I would like to add that I am extremely impressed with all the people that work in the care home. Their warmth and friendliness shines through. The home is immaculate and has a very nice feel about it.

My family attended a 90th birthday party for my father in law. We were all absolutely amazed by the length all of the staff, especially the manager, went to to ensure that everyone there had a really memorable afternoon. Clara Court is the most caring and happy residential home I have ever visited a real credit to your profession.

My mother's brother visited her with me on the 20th May. He was amazed how clean and tidy it was, especially her room. He was pleased to see how happy his sister was and how friendly the staff were, especially they brought him tea and biscuits within minutes.

My mother is very cared for, the staff manage her very well.

My father went into Clara Court in 2014. He has dementia and was becoming increasingly infirm. Clara Court is a modern, clean building with attentive and helpful staff. He is now bed bound and needs feeding and lifting to the loo. Staff have never complained about him and describe him as sweet natured and courteous. He has an issue where he would fall out of bed during the night but the staff addressed that successfully I cannot fault the staff and would recommend Clara Court for anyone that found themselves in a similar position to ourselves.

During a week's respite care, my experience was friendly. Pleasant and cheerful staff, always willing to help with every requirement.

In the 3 years since my Mum has been at Clara Court we couldn't be happier. The staff know all her family members by name and are always greeted with a smile, a cuppa and cake! We can visit any time and the staff are the same which is as reassuring for me as it is for my Mum. We are very lucky to have Clara Court as my mums home. Thank you!

I think the staff are excellent, very caring and helpful. Nothing is too much of a problem.

My opinion of Clara Court hasn't changed since my husband became a resident. I am completely at ease knowing he is so well looked after. The staff are friendly and efficient, and treat everyone with respect and I can't speak too highly of them. I am informed at all times, either in person or by phone as to my husband's state of health. Management team - beyond compare.

My husband has been a resident at Clara Court since August 2014. He has vascular dementia and I was a full time carer to him for several years before Clara Court. I feel blessed that my husband is in the care of this home as not only do they care amazingly for the residents they also help relatives to overcome anxiety and guilt that there loved one is now in care. From my personal experience the management and staff have helped me so much. This is a very happy cheerful home and also the activities team are fantastic.
