Clara Court is a welcoming 'outstanding'-rated care home (March 2019) where a passionate and highly trained team provides quality residential, dementia and respite care for older people.

The purpose-built home has its own hair salon, café and a vintage-themed lounge, plus other shared lounges and activity spaces.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Clara Court staff are very good to sort out mother when she was living in the home. It gave the family a sense of relief that our mother was being cared for by very kind people. Lovely home, clean and welcoming.

From the day my mother-in-law became a resident the care and kindness has always been second to none. The love and kindness shown to her and the respect for her by all the dedicated staff is unquestionable. From the personal appearance to the clean, fresh, bright environment in which the residents live
speaks volumes for their care. When thanked for their care the staff are very modest but it is care that they do so very well.

Staff have been patient and caring towards my mother. Infection as been spotted and acted upon quickly. Communication between family and carers has been open and effective. My mother's room is always clean and she is developing friendships and confidence with the staff.

My wife and I feel very lucky that we found Clara Court for the care of mum now she no longer has the ability to live independently. The buildings and furnishings are modern, bright and well kept. The residents live in a warm, welcoming and friendly environment. There are always care staff on hand to
ensure mum feels safe and to help with her daily needs and they make a point of speaking to us when we visit to let us know how mum has been and discuss her ongoing care. There are plenty of activities available and residents are encouraged to participate but there is no pressure to do so. We are always able to discuss with the staff any concerns we have, so we never leave feeling mum isn't being looked after. I would definitely recommend Clara Court.

I am happy with the care my uncle is getting from Clare Court. He has improved significantly through social stimulation. The home is very welcoming no restrictions to visiting any time you want. All residents appear to be happy, staff are wonderful, helpful and kind. It's hard to find a good care home
but Clara Court ticks all the boxes for us a family. The care and treatment is outstanding.

Very clean tidy home, smells fresh, always welcoming when I visit.
You can visit whenever you want and that makes it easier for me. Residents always look clean and happy, the receive lots of interaction from the staff. Well done Clare Court.

Since my mother-in-law arrived at Clara Court she has been quite settled more so than I expected. She eats well, the food is extremely good (she is very finicky). The staff are excellent, her dementia causes her to be bad tempered and they are so tolerant of her outbursts when she has them. Cleanliness
is superior and altogether Clara Court is an excellent home for my mother-in-law and all who are fortunate enough to be offered a place.

It was a very upsetting time having to put my partner in a nursing home. But Clara Court has made the whole thing so much easier. It is the most wonderful place and my partner has never had an upset day in the years he's been here. Staff are all fantastic, I am delighted that my partner has been so

This is the best nursing home I have ever visited, staff are absolutely wonderful. If I ever need to be put into a nursing home, when I get older, this is certainly the nursery home for me. Can't fault it, it's all wonderful.

The staff are very helpful and my Mother-in-Law is happy with the food and most importantly, the assistance and help she receives from the staff. Her room is always very clean and nothing seems to be too much bother to them. Most importantly, they are all very friendly and helpful.

My husband has Alzheimer's and takes no part in social life, but he recognises all the staff, says he loves the manager. He is very well cared for with humour and dedication and is encouraged to express himself. He is always treated with dignity and understanding. The home is clean, bright and welcoming.

After visiting Clara Court it leaves me with a feeling my Aunt is well looked after. My Aunt is treated with dignity and her life is fulfilled. The atmosphere of the home is very welcoming and staff are very happy and obliging. It always looks and smells clean and inviting. We are always offered beverages

I am very pleased with the home and its staff. All had smiles on their faces and were polite nad professional. The home was far removed from my vision of a care home. It was modern, clean and bright. My wife was a lot brighter when I picked her up and she was full of praise for the staff. If my wife

My late wife has been a resident at Clara Court for the past 5 years. She was a proud lady who didn't accept help from anyone (including me) easily. The care and consideration of staff has always been excellent. Before she became a resident, she was having twice daily visits by carers and rarely getting
out of bed. The activities and community spirit, film evenings and visiting entertainers have been a life saver. My own relationship with staff has been excellent and they have always responded to my requests. The manager and staff are doing a fantastic job and I thank them sincerely.

Job Title: Home Manager

I’ve been at Clara Court since 2009, when I joined the team as a care assistant. I joined because Care UK has a clear vision for older people’s care which I believe in. I’m also passionate about providing high quality care and I want to make a difference to the lives of the people we care for.


Another rewarding part of my role is empowering colleagues to ensure that residents live their lives in the way they want. I enjoy engaging and motivating colleagues and seeing them develop and succeed.


Each day is different in this role. I enjoy having the chance to continue learning and developing my skills, and I love spending time with residents, supporting them to continue to live happy and fulfilling lives.
