I highly recommend Cherry Tree House Care Home. The staff are caring, attentive and always go the extra mile. Mum was a resident for eight years until she passed away in March and the care she received was exceptional. She was shown respect and dignity and we will always be grateful.
Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience and for taking the time to leave us a review. It was a pleasure to get to know and look after your mum for so many years. We will pass your kind words on to the wider team at Cherry Tree House who will be so pleased to hear that their hard work has been recognised. It means a lot to the whole team when we receive positive feedback.
This is the first time I have had to use this system. If all care homes ran this way there won't be many complaints from the residents, if any.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a positive review. We are delighted that this has been your experience at Cherry Tree House.
Cherry Tree House Care Home is a very friendly, kind, caring and efficient care home. Being of a moderate size, Cherry Tree is ideally suited for providing this sort of care.
Thank you for your positive review, it is lovely to hear that the hard work of our dedicated staff is recognised. We will reflect on the areas where we have been awarded three-four stars and our home manager would gladly welcome any additional feedback you might have.
I like living here very much, the food suits me fine except for curry which I can't eat because I'm diabetic! Everyone is so kind and helpful, thank you. Don't see the manager very often.
My mother became unable to cope after a fall. My brother and I viewed Cherry Tree House Care Home in Wendover along with other respite care providers. The immediate welcome made us both feel at ease with the awful decisions that we both, together, would have to make. Mum was a resident for three short weeks before passing peacefully. The staff were amazing. The care and attention shown to Mum were, without question, wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and with a smile. Cherry Tree gave something back to Mum that she had been stripped of, her dignity and right to choose. Her sharp sense of humour returned. The staff remained in contact after her passing and their concern for our welfare was heartwarming. Cherry Tree is a small care home full of care and respect. They are, in one word, wonderful.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home and for sharing your wonderful feedback which is important to us. The care and services we deliver to our residents and families are extremely important to us. Your comments will be shared with our dedicated team and are very much appreciated. Very best wishes to you and your family, Jenny.
Excellent. Staff are most helpful and will help any time. No grumbles really and visitors are always impressed. Can be a little too eager at times.
Jenny.
I think all staff do a very good job, always happy to help. Entertainment is very good and food is very good. My room and the house are very clean.
Jenny.
Activities are excellent, something every day and some theme days also.
Jenny.
I would thoroughly recommend this care home. The food is good and attractively presented. The staff are wonderfully caring. Nothing was too much trouble. Our mother was always treated with great dignity right to the end.
My late mother was cared for at Cherry Tree House Care Home for nearly eighteen months. The home is spotlessly clean, the food is home cooked and of excellent quality and, most importantly, the staff are wonderful. In the final weeks of her life, she was looked after by them with such tender loving care. They provided us with the privacy that meant we could say goodbye to her in her warm, comfortable and peaceful room.

I would totally recommend this care home. The managers and staff have been very supportive and compassionate in settling my parents into Cherry Tree House Care Home. They have been very responsive to any of our queries. The managers and staff go over and beyond to create an environment that is both homely and meets my parents' physical and emotional needs. They are very sensitive and thoughtful to ensure that they tailor the care they offer to meet their individual needs. I am always met with a warm welcome when I visit my parents. The staff always have time to have a chat. My parents also are very complimentary about the food that is all cooked on the premises.

My mother is well looked after and I visit her regularly. Unfortunately, she has very limited vision and poor hearing which make it difficult for the staff to keep her occupied at times.
There is always something happening in the home and the activities are varied to suit everyone.
The food is excellent and she enjoys lots of delicious treats!
Her room is always clean and her clothes are carefully laundered and returned. The staff are very kind and always have time to stop for a chat.
Our aunt has been a resident of Cherry Tree House for a few years now. She moved in after losing confidence living alone at home. As soon as our aunt moved in, she (and we) knew it was the right decision. Our aunt has nothing but praise for the team who cares for her. She is very happy with her accommodation, and she enjoys the food and the activities. From our perspective, we have the reassurance that she is being looked after with genuine respect, dignity and warmth. During the various lockdown restrictions, the care home kept us informed and did their utmost to ensure safe visits. We are hugely grateful for all that the team did at a time that was very worrying and challenging for them too. Thank you for making Cherry Tree House a home from home for our aunt.
My mother has now been a permanent resident for fourteen months - during this time she has settled in extremely well with the staff and management playing a huge role to ensure she has a calm and caring experience, especially over such a challenging period.
We chose Salveo Care's Cherry Tree House Care Home, Wendover on the recommendation of some friends of ours who had experienced the high quality of care their mother had enjoyed at the establishment. I must say that this was reflected in the experience my mother is currently having. The staff all show a sympathetic, nothing is too much trouble, very professional approach to delivering personal care to both the service user and their family. We would highly recommend the safe, comfortable and can do environment that Salveo Care's Cherry Tree House provides.
Very happy and have peace of mind to know my mother is well looked after and all her needs catered for. There is always something to occupy the residents’ time so they are not just sitting in their rooms being bored and sleeping.
Sadly my mother passed away in December last year following three years at Cherry Tree House Care Home. The end-of-life care she received there was truly exceptional. The staff went out of their way to ensure that her last days were comfortable and peaceful, I am extremely grateful for the kindness and care she received throughout her stay at Cherry Tree House.
It was lovely to know that I didn’t have to worry about her and the longevity of the staff meant there was always a friendly familiar face to greet you in the corridors.
As the place is so small everyone knows everyone very well and is always willing to help.
Cherry Tree House was the perfect fit for my aunt moving from Dorset following a fall. The transition into the home felt almost seamless as my aunt found all the staff and management team very welcoming, living up to their mission of it being 'a home from home'. She very quickly felt at home and became very fond of the team supporting her.

Meet the Team (3)

My journey with Salveo Care began in 2020 at the onset of the pandemic. Driven by a desire to muck in and make a difference during such a critical time, I started my career in care whilst studying for my psychology degree. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with elderly care, and I decided to pursue every opportunity to learn and progress in this field once I had finished my degree. I have a passion for high-quality care and clinical oversight, and I am dedicated to advocating for our residents and their families. Being a part of Salveo Care is incredibly rewarding as we truly care about the residents’ well-being, and we are genuinely committed to supporting and nurturing our staff team. My job, friends and family bring me immense joy in life, and I truly value these meaningful connections.

Liz has worked in the care sector for 25 years and has been with Cherry Tree House for the past 10 years. During her time here, she has been given the opportunity to study and achieve her Level 2 NVQ in Housekeeping and Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration.
Liz is passionate and dedicated to creating the perfect home for our residents, and will always go above and beyond to make sure we do. She loves being the first point of contact for families and making sure their experience with us is positive by being as helpful as possible.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys nothing more than exploring our local countryside with her family.

It is an honour to be Salveo Care’s nominated individual and I vow to do everything in my power to keep our residents safe and happy while they are in our care. With a degree in psychology and a passion for wellness, I love trying to find new ways of improving the quality of life for our residents. I'm determined to get the best out of my team so we can work together to make a genuine impact on individuals and the care sector as a whole, in particular focusing on the experience of elderly people. In my personal and professional life, I am open-minded and will take every opportunity to learn something new. With a fascination for human behaviour, I enjoy listening to podcasts, watching documentaries and speaking to different people. Aside from this, I love being a mum and finding creative outlets and I am truly happiest when hosting and helping people.
