Everyone at Cherry Tree House makes mum feel at home and I am appreciative of all that the Manager and her team do to support both mum and me. Cherry Tree House has a very homely feel, the lounge is nicely decorated and the bright pink and turquoise armchairs make it a cheery place to be. Mum enjoys the activities and is a very active resident always participating with the great team. The chef is superb and the meals are excellent and worthy of 5 stars.

The carers cannot do enough to help my mother and make her time there as pleasurable as possible. They are always pleasant and generous with their help. It is the nearest it can be to her living at home except knowing I am relaxed that she is in good hands.

It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with elderly care, and I decided to pursue every opportunity to learn and progress in this field once I had finished my degree. I have a passion for high-quality care and clinical oversight, and I am dedicated to advocating for our residents and their families. With a degree in psychology and a passion for wellness, I love trying to find new ways of improving the quality of life for our residents. I'm determined to get the best out of my team so we can work together to make a genuine impact on individuals and the care sector as a whole, in particular focusing on the experience of elderly people. In my personal and professional life, I am open-minded and will take every opportunity to learn something new. With a fascination for human behaviour, I enjoy listening to podcasts, watching documentaries and speaking to different people.
