I have noticed that some of my mother's clothing has gone missing and another personal item. Also, leg injury. None of which has a suitable explanation. For the money charged this is unacceptable.

Good rapport with staff, very caring. Always comes home 'bright-eyed and bushy-tailed' as the saying goes. Is much better for his daycare visits.

My wife has been a resident for just over 2 years and all aspects of her care have been first class. The home is very clean and is kept as such by the appropriate staff. The carers are extremely attentive towards my wife and the nursing staff administer medication efficiently.

Fantastic. Everyone works so hard to provide the best possible care. Staff are brilliant in all areas. Everyone is up against it at all times, that's life. But, I know how hard everyone puts their best foot forward. I would recommend Caton House for sure.

My aunt only moved to Caton House 2 weeks ago, yet the way the staff treat her is remarkable. All of your staff without exception are a credit to your organisation and seeing my aunt settle in so easily is a great relief to her family.

The variation in the menu is commendable and again to see her eating so well is also a great relief. I also like the way she is up and active whenever we visit, in particular, the service she attended on Good Friday was excellent.

One minor suggestion is that events for the week are emailed to the family as some are remote from Bletchley.

The staff have cared for my mother for over 2 and a half years. She requires total nursing care and has dementia. I am sure that their exemplary care has meant my mum has recovered from a huge pressure ulcer which she had prior to coming to Caton House.

They consistently involve her in activities and where possible allow her to make decisions. The overall quality of care is impressive - especially as my mother is unpredictable and can be aggressive. They are welcoming, friendly and helpful to me. The minor frustrations are inevitable but I cannot praise them enough.

I was always concerned about leaving my wife in any daycare but they have made the daycare absolutely superb. In the end it's all about the people...and with the staff you never have to worry. They are both fantastic carers.

My neighbour of 41 years had become unable to stay in his home. Even with our limited care. I was so lucky to ring on his behalf and find a room had become available which I viewed and he moved in on the 9th July 2015. It is a complete success, the staff, all of them including the manager are wonderful, the food is first class and we couldn't have asked for more.

Alex Ellwood
Alex EllwoodJob Title:Home Manager

My journey into the health and social care sector began after I earned a First-Class Honours degree in Art and Design from Loughborough University. Shortly afterwards, I made the decision to pause my creative career to care for my grandfather, an experience that revealed a deep passion for supporting others and ultimately shaped the direction of my professional life.

Since 2009, I have worked within the care sector, specialising in luxury care homes and holding roles such as Commissioning Home Manager and CQC Registered Home Manager. Being entrusted with these positions has given me a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to deliver exceptional standards of care, always placing residents at the heart of every decision. I have developed a strong appreciation for the responsibility, trust, and leadership required to create environments where people feel safe, valued, and truly supported.

My passion, dedication, and determination stem from a simple belief: everyone deserves to be treated with the same dignity and compassion I would expect for my own family. As Home Manager, I will be involved in every aspect of the home, overseeing safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance while ensuring a consistently positive, person-centred approach.

Enriching the lives of others is my greatest joy, and my proudest achievement is being able to look back on my career and feel proud of the individuals I have helped. I believe it’s not the days in our lifetime that matter, but the lives we touch each day that are most important.

Rebecca Kilman
Rebecca KilmanJob Title:Activities CoordinatorJoined: 2009

My main responsibilities are to create a relaxed, safe and happy environment for our residents to enjoy a full range of activities, either in large groups, small groups or on a 1-1 basis.

We do lots of singing and have regular entertainment, visitors from local schools join us, and we play bingo, do arts and crafts, yoga, darts and hoopla, to name a few!

We also celebrate our residents' birthdays, throwing big or small parties (whatever they prefer) for their families and friends to enjoy with them in the comfort of their homes.

I love helping our residents to enjoy their time here as much as they can and also to provide comfort when they need it.
