I find the staff great to get on with and my mother likes most of them. I would like to see more things going on as (taking them out of the home on day trips during the summer months).

Lynsey Smith

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2011

I have been a member of the team at Blenheim House since 2011, I started as a care assistant which I really loved. I've always enjoyed being hands on with the residents. I then moved into the administration department. This gave me a great experience and knowledge of the accounting system. I then took on the role as deputy manager. This was in preparation of becoming the manager. I became the manager in April 2024. I love the fact that I have progressed through the ranks in the care home that I regard as my home. I have recently completed my NVQ level 5 with a distinction. I am very proud and honoured to have been given the opportunity to manage Blenheim House and hope that I can bring all my experiences together now to create a positive and well managed home for my residents and staff.
