My nan has been a resident at Blenheim House for over a year, on the occasions I have visited all staff have been very polite and very professional. I have spoken with the manager on a couple of occasions, she is very approachable and willing to assist with any requests we have as a family.

Lynsey Smith
Lynsey SmithJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2011

My name is Lynsey, and I have been part of the Blenheim Care Home family since 2011. I began my journey as a Night Healthcare Assistant before progressing into an Administration role, then Deputy Manager, and finally becoming Home Manager in April 2024.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to developing my knowledge and skills, and I am proud to have achieved my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care. Having worked my way through each stage of the home, I have developed a deep understanding of the needs of our residents, their families, and our dedicated team.

I feel incredibly privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead a home that has been such an important part of my life for so many years. Blenheim has always felt like home to me, and I truly believe I am the right person to lead the team because I understand the home, its values, and the people who make it so special.

I am passionate about maintaining a warm, caring, and supportive environment where residents can feel safe, respected, and valued. I am proud to lead a dedicated team that is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care, and I look forward to continuing to build on the home's strong reputation while ensuring every resident enjoys the very best quality of life.
