My wife's aunt has been in Eastham Care Home since March this year and I have always found the home very welcoming and the staff very good. My mother was in this home back in the 80's. I try to visit her every 2 days. We live just 2 miles from Eastham in Woodham Ferrers

I think the care staff at Eastham all work incredibly hard to keep everyone happy and safe. I love the homely feel and the gardens are just wonderful to take my husband for a walk when the weather is suitable.

Eastan is the right place for my dad. It is very clean. The environment is good for dad. The staff, the building and the gardens and outlook are perfect for my dad who is a country boy at heart. Lots of wildlife, good staff, laughing and caring.

Mum has had a really bad year. Dad died in February so we decided to move mum from Suffolk to Essex to be closer to the family. Eastham have been very supportive with the move and also dealing with mum's dementia and stoma. I highly recommend Eastham. I researched a lot of homes as it was important
to get mum's 'forever' home right. The staff are all amazing and nothing is too much trouble.

Very welcoming from the first visit. Attentive staff who show kindness. Residents well cared for always have a drink and snacks between mealtimes. Very warm and comfortable home. Efficient and knowledgeable office staff. My mother has settled well and enjoys the personal attention this smaller home

My mum has been a resident for one year now. The staff are great and I feel it's a lot to do with the leadership of the management team. Our wishes are always listened to and acted upon which has been important to us. Mum's individual needs have always been catered for. The food is always good and the
room is kept clean. Overall, it's been excellent, making a difficult transition easier. Thank you.

Most impressed with Eastham's care. The standard they set I cannot fault. My husband has settled in very well. I forgot to enquire about daily activities, therefore I have not commented, having said that my husband is happy and comfortable. So I am happy.

My sister went into the home in May for respite care. She was welcomed by the manager, deputy, and other staff members. It didn't take long for her to feel settled. She had choices of food, what to wear, and all other care she required. Staff assisted her with all her needs as she was quite weak. She
got a little bit stronger and loved sitting outside.
Unfortunately she became ill and had to go to hospital, as she became more ill and passed away peacefully.

My journey with Runwood Homes spans 13 years, starting as a carer here at Eastham. Through dedication and passion, I've risen to the position of Home Manager. As a registered social worker, I also bring a unique perspective to our residents' holistic well-being.
