Always given a warm welcome when we arrive. Mum always looks happy and her wellbeing has improved since her arrival in August 2017. I would recommend this care home to anyone looking to place a relative.

We have been impressed and pleased with the care and friendliness of members of staff towards both residents and their families when visiting. The home has a warm and welcoming atmosphere at all times. It always smells fresh and clean. We are pleased that residents are given the opportunity to join
in activities which are arranged for them. It is good that they have a visiting hairdresser weekly.

A small, friendly care home that is like a home and not a large institution. This is excellent for my 91 year old Mother as she can feel secure within her surroundings. She has a lovely room which is always kept spotlessly clean and tidy. She is always clean and tidy and her clothes are laundered very
regularly.
The staff do everything possible to give her the care and attention she needs. Even when her illness makes her difficult they treat her with care and respect and help her.

I have lived here for over ten years and have enjoyed all the things that go on. When I first moved here I helped with laying tables and other things that kept me active which I enjoyed doing. I really enjoy all the activities even though my legs are not as good as they used to be.

My mum has Alzheimer's and has been at Eastham for 3 months. She settled in very well and is very well cared for. Her mental state has improved very much and as a result of better concentration, no longer needs to use her hearing aid! The staff are very patient and caring, and have a good rapport with
residents, although faced with some challenging behaviour.
I am very happy with mum's care and her continued well-being has taken a load off my mind. I would recommend Eastham to anyone who wishes a homely atmosphere for their relative, in a very pretty setting.

My journey with Runwood Homes spans 13 years, starting as a carer here at Eastham. Through dedication and passion, I've risen to the position of Home Manager. As a registered social worker, I also bring a unique perspective to our residents' holistic well-being.


Eastham Care Home offers a perfect blend of comfort and professional care with 22 beautifully furnished bedrooms, a spacious, airy dining room, two inviting lounges and homely designs throughout.
