Located on the Essex Coast, Corner Lodge is a purpose-built home designed to provide dementia care in a homely, comfortable, bright, and secure environment.

Always made welcome on arrival.
The home and facilities are of a very high standard. Together with the very comprehensive activity programme. The residents have their rooms personalised and are kept clean and tidy. The food is excellent.

As a family, our experience with Corner Lodge has been excellent. Grandma is really enjoying her time here, she has returned to be more like the grandma we knew. Since coming to Corner Lodge she has developed a great sense of humour. The entertainment keeps her physically and mentally active. We cannot
thank all the staff enough for the care they give Grandma. As quoted to me by her 'being here (Corner Lodge) is better than home!

My wife has been a resident here for over two and a half years. It was an excellent decision as she is safe, happy and well cared for. I visit most days and the staff (carers, managers and domestic) all welcome me by my first name. I sometimes share a meal with my wife and find the meals excellent.
The entertainment is first class and really varied. My wife enjoys the changes to her routine. Her room was redecorated this year and is now bright and colourful, like the public areas. No criticism to mention, every home could use Corner Lodge as a template.

I am overall very satisfied with the level of service and care my mum receives. On the rare occasions I have had reason to voice my concerns they have always been met with a professional approach and a very satisfactory outcome.
The staff are always extremely helpful and professional in my dealings

I cannot fault the care that was given to my mother. The staff were always welcoming when I visited and Mum was happy here. The hardest thing to do is put your parent into a care home and this experience was made so much easier by the staff here.
