I find the above home very good. Care of residents and the home itself is of a very high standard. Sometimes staffing levels let them down.

When my father came into the home he had been in hospital and could not walk when he came out. They persevered and got him walking with a zimmer frame. I never worry about my dad because the care they give him is excellent, it is like being in a big family unit. Dad always looks lovely and clean shaved, nails cut short, hair done and always looks well groomed. They have entertainment most days, most of all they have flower arranging every Monday and dad loves this. The entertainment manager is very focused.

I have also had various types of food here and it to be very nice, (no complaints). Every day my wife and I come to the home, there's always something going on as far as activities go excellent, and as far as my mother-in-laws room, it it very very nice always kept clean and tidy by staff, and as far as value for money I would not think of taking my mother-in-law anywhere else. Thank you.

The attributes that make this home stand above others emanate from the directives of the manager through out to the staff. The primary and clear message is that the home exists for the residents who are encouraged to actively make suggestions that would enhance their well-being. The entertainment whilst being similar to what seems to be universal template, is expanded to include karaoke and any contributions from the residents of a good standard. This seems to promote a bond as the residents will join in with in house expertise, competitions, puzzles. There is a resulting feeling of togetherness. Occasionally delays and staff shortages happen but this is no different to all other homes. This clearly gives a high standard of support and excellent value.
Had no complaints since dad has been in here. Staff have been very good.
