Dad came to Glendale in June 2023. He had dementia which got progressively worse, at the end he had advanced dementia. The staff were really good with him, caring for him with dignity and kindness.

My father-in-law came into Glendale in 2023 (June) he had dementia which became progressively worse over time. During his time at Glendale all the staff cared and looked after him with great care and kindness dealing with his increasing needs.

My Mum was a resident at Glendale for the past eleven months until she passed away. Mum was always treated with the most wonderful care and compassion.
The Manager was always approachable and very caring to Mum even giving her a kiss and cuddle. I was always made to feel very welcome on my visits by
all of the staff. Mum and all the residents were always clean and well dressed.
I would highly recommend Glendale to anyone looking for a care home. The food is of a very high standard prepared by the cook and the manager and another lady at the weekends.
Mum had her hair washed and set by the home's hairdresser who was always very kind and gentle. She also received regular treatment from a chiropodist.
Thank you to the manager and all the team for the excellent care my Mum received.

My wife stayed at Glendale for 2 weeks respite and the service he received was excellent in all regards. The staff were friendly, courteous and willing to help at all times - day and night.

Fantastic home Fantastic staff especially the manager & the senior. My dad has recently passed away. I would 100% recommend Glendale. Even my dad's dog was allowed to visit, she had her favourite residence. The staff looked after dad like he was their family even when he was very difficult & acting
up. Thank you for 3 lovely years I know he was cared for and fed well

Since day one, my dad has felt comfortable and at home at Glendale. Due to the nature of his illnesses, the home manager and the team take him with all their stride and help him in the best way possible. Every time I go and visit with my mum, we know he is happy and cared for with respect, due to the
kindness of the team. Everyone always has a smile on their faces and even when there are times, you may walk away crying, they are there to listen and not judge. We are always kept in the loop about things, and we know that Dad is safe where he is. I personally love the home environment because it seems to help me relax whenever I visit because there can be days when I don't know what to expect. Thank you to the home manager and the team, honestly I couldn't ask for a better care home for my dad.

Happy with Mum's care, the team are so kind and helpful and we always feel welcome when we visit daily. The manager is approachable and allows us to visit Mum at meal times as we only have this time available during our work hours. Can highly recommend this little home.

My Nan is so happy and loved in this small little home. The manager and staff are so lovely and kind. The food is lovely, the environment is clean and tidy. My nan is always clean and dressed nicely. Would recommend Glendale to anyone who is looking for a good caring home for their loved one.

Every time we visit the team shows extreme passion and care for my mother-in-law but also we witness other residents receiving the same high-end care and understanding. Christmas was amazing, the entertainer engaged with everyone and it had a lovely homely feeling. The manager is kind and empathetic
and always welcomes us with a smile.

I can't thank the staff at Glendale enough, especially the head/senior staff who are unbelievably caring and always amazing, with attention to detail it's a hard job and they deserve every accolade they get.
Glendale is a lovely place and one of the very best residential homes out there and I have
done my homework on same prior to my father being admitted in my eyes they deserve a medal for all the hard work the staff do for each person here. 11/10

Our father has been in this care home for 3 years now and we are so happy with the care that he is receiving.
We could not fault the amount of love that they give home, nothing is too much trouble. We are so grateful for the excellent staff who work so hard to make sure my dad is looked after properly.

Glendale provides much-needed and timely care. Aunty initially came for respite care which became full-time care. The staff were kind, courteous and professional caring for Aunty in a dignified and respectful manner. We could not have wished for a better home for her.

My nan came to Glendale a year ago from another home and I couldn't be happier, the environment is home from home, all staff are caring and kind, all residents are well turned out, stimulated and interactions very good.
Food is homemade and gorgeous.
Manager approachable and kind, so agency used,
which is a bonus to me as good continuity of care.

I can't speak highly enough of this home. Care is amazing. Interaction with residents is amazing. Manager is very professional, caring and approachable. My husband has advanced dementia and is treated with love and care. I couldn't be more happy with my choice of care home and would highly recommend

My mother was a resident here for 4 1/2 years until Alzheimer’s finally took her life mid November 2023. Even in death, they extended their care to my wife and I, gave us a hug and shared in our loss, helping us start to grieve.
I can only describe Glendales and staff as excellent; they worked wonders
with my mum, got her eating better, put on weight to a healthier weight. Mum was extremely difficult, my wife and I cared for her many years, increasingly difficult persuading to take medication, eat and drink. Manager and the staff cared for her as though she was their own mother, they’re one big family. Mum wouldn’t join activities as she couldn’t understand anything said to her or communicate her wishes. She liked to sit watching others and daily life, the home were happy to help her, having her sitting near the office so she could see what was going on in there. My mum thoroughly thrived in Glendales, I firmly believe that we had an extra 4 years with her thanks to the manager and the staff.

My relative was a resident of Glendale from July 2022 until his death in hospital in October 2023. I live 300 miles away so was not able to visit him often, so it was vital that I had 100% confidence in the quality of care delivered. The entire staff from the manager to the carers were exceptional in
every way. This was even more commendable given my relative's often aggressive and unco-operative behaviour due to Alzheimer's. He was treated with care and compassion by the whole team and could not have been in better hands. The home has a family feel and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
