Glendale nursing home is a very caring nursing environment. The staff are very reliable when called upon. They work very hard and enjoy playing games with the residents and families.
Beautiful outdoor area for all residents in which the residents can enjoy freely.

It is a lovely calm and friendly environment. The staff always make time for family or visitors. They have supported my mum as her care needs have changed and can often be seen laughing and chatting with her. There are lots of activities for residents including trips out and entertainers.
Mum is always
supported to join in and activities are adapted so she can participate and to help her maintain her independence. It is like being part of a family. A real home from home experience.

All staff at Glendale have been amazing with my grandma, have gone above and beyond to make her feel welcome and loved, staff have helped myself and my family to understand the Dementia condition that my grandma is living with. I feel welcome and supported every visit, it's a lovely family.

The carers are very good to me, you don't wait long if you need anything, they work very hard. I am always washed and dressed very well. I enjoy their food. I enjoy having my hair and nails done.

I am really pleased for Mum to go into this care home as she has got on very well and been looked after very well. The carers are so good here they really put themselves out to do things for them. I really recommend this care home.

When it became clear that my mother needed residential care, I was very apprehensive about finding the right home and if mum would settle. I need not have worried. The standard of care mum has received has been excellent. The home is bright, clean and the staff are patient and caring. The management
team are regularly on site and have been in frequent contact with me to discuss mum's care. They have been pro-active in arranging for health professionals to attend mum as necessary. Various activities are arranged for residents and there is a good atmosphere at the home. Mum is very happy at Glendale.

My mother stayed for 11 nights as respite, as we were going away. She enjoyed her stay and said the food and staff were very good. A couple of items of clothing "went missing" but we were contacted to say they had been found.

House and surroundings are clean and tidy, neat garden, management and senior staff are all friendly and approachable. All carers were friendly and helpful, always seem busy with very little time to chat to residents.


Two-course meals were excellent - compliments to the chefs. Beverages are available

at any time.


A resident unlatched my bedroom door twice in the early hours of the morning, which was rather disconcerting!

Staff are efficient and pleasant and treat the residents well. The home is clean, laundry is well done, meals are good, with fruit and drinks always available. Services such as manicures, hairdressing, chiropody are arranged when required, and there is a pleasant atmosphere about the place. As a
visitor, even when arriving with no notice, you are made to feel welcome.

All the staff are caring and considerate and look after my mother very well. All the residents are treated with respect regardless of their age and condition. Management takes a genuine interest in the appearance and running of the home.
