Thank you.
Although my mum has only been in Lyon’s Court for a short while, it is so lovely to see the difference in her, and that is all down to the kind and caring staff, from management, carers, cooks and cleaners. I can’t fault the place, thank you.
They both engage in daily activities and also enjoy the entertainment provided at times.
The home is very well managed and any concerns are always addressed promptly.
Thank you for your wonderful comments about Lyons Court, we are delighted that your parents are so happy there.
The staff are fab! Mum is treated with professionalism, care, and compassion. She has Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's and the patience and understanding she is shown is amazing.
When we visit the staff are always friendly and approachable and keep me well informed on Mum's wellbeing.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such kind words about our team at Lyons Court, they will be so pleased to read your comments.
Such a pleasant care home. The manager is fantastic and always available to speak to and takes care of all residents and staff. Would highly recommend this home. Staff are always very pleasant, but it's the manager who makes it with her care towards families, residents and staff.
Thank you for such a wonderful review for our management and team. It is so appreciated! Best wishes.
Mum has vascular dementia and is always treated with dignity, compassion and respect and they know her well. We are always kept informed of everything relating to mum and I am extremely happy with the care she receives.
A very big thank you to all the care staff and management at Lyons Court for the excellent care and support they give to my mum.
Since my mother has been a resident at Lions Court she has been treated with great care understanding, compassion and with great professionalism. I have been kept in touch with everything that has happened with instant effect. I am extremely happy with the care she is receiving.
In particular, three members of staff, are brilliant in the way they speak with Mum - although she has advanced dementia they treat her as an individual person and know exactly what she likes/dislikes and how she likes to do things.
Well done all at Lyons Court.
All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly and are so kind to Mum. There are lots of varied activities which Mum especially enjoys.
My mother has lived in Lyons Court for over 7 years. I am touched by the care and compassion shown by the vast majority of carers that I have met over the years. My mother has a very close bond with the carer currently responsible for her personal care who shows enormous tenderness towards her. Staff have always been available to answer family questions and concerns and have always acted in my mothers best interests and kept the family promptly updated about our mothers ongoing treatment and circumstances. I have no hesitation in recommending Lyons Court.
Sadly I had to put my dear mum into a home with regret but I must say that where mum is living now in Lyons Court she has settled in very well and seems to be happy, she joins in the entertainment fixtures etc laid on. Lyons Court is a converted Barn and I am very fortunate to live very close to my mum which is good for the family and my elderly father in order to visit mum. A friend of mine told me about Lyons Court and I then made an appointment to go and view the home to which I was greeted by the staff and the Manager to which I was made to feel very welcome likewise so was my mum when she went in the home as a resident. The staff are very attentive towards my mum and that to me is great to think my mum is very happy in her new home.
When we first contacted the home to book in for respite unfortunately there was no bed available.
We were not in a major rush and had a few weeks before Mum was due to attend.
The management have worked extremely hard and have taken all my calls, sometimes a stressed call from me as time was ticking by. They have listened to me on every call and have worked to ensure there was a bed available for the latest time we needed Mum to attend.
I am so very grateful for all their hard work and time spent talking with me and arranging a room.
Today received a wonderful call from the home with the news we have been waiting on, Mum will be going back into Lyons Court for her respite stay in September.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home and for your kind words. It is really wonderful to hear how well your mum's respite care went with us and that she will be joining us again soon. Best wishes, Fae
My mother's friend always comments to me that the staff are so kind and friendly towards her. She likes to chat to them and they do everything they can to make her life as comfortable as possible.
Because Lyons Court is relatively small, the staff get to know the residents and their likes and dislikes very well. The residents have lots of choice about what they do and when they do it.
There are daily activities and entertainment provided on weekdays and these are very popular. The home is kept clean and the staff are well trained so they can meet the needs of the residents.
The rooms are comfortable and most of them have a view into one of the attractive garden areas.
I would definitely recommend Lyons Court as a very friendly and professional care home with excellent staff.
The care and kindness she receives is a source of great comfort to me as I know how safe and happy she is.
Where if my husband and I need to live in a care home we would choose Lyons Court.
Best wishes, Fae
Lyons Court has coped extremely well during the covid pandemic. I haven’t been able to go in much to see my relative but the home does everything they can to keep relatives in contact with their residents, ie; Facetiming. All the staff are lovely and the home is kept to a high standard all around.
Best wishes, Fae
I would recommend Lyons Court. Very friendly team and a nice homely atmosphere
Thank you for the wonderful care you have shown to my mum.
To place a loved one in care is a very difficult step to take. My mum-in-law has been in Lyons Court since Sept 2020, and of course, Covid has meant distancing. In the last 3 months, I have been relieved and impressed by the loving care shown by the staff. It is easy to see by my mum-in-laws responses to the carers that good relationships have been established and that they and the cook (who she constantly praises) know her well. The choice of 'home' we made has proved itself to truly be a 'caring home'. I cannot answer all questions due to Covid.
Best wishes, Fae.
They are very happy with the care and attention they have received. The staff are always welcoming and attentive and the family is kept informed of anything at the home.
The home is well maintained and is always kept clean.
Visits are arranged if either of my parents needs to attend hospital and are always accompanied by a member of staff.
The person in charge of activities is always praised because of the variety of things they do.
The COVID-19 crisis has been well managed at the home and now that a pod has been installed outside it will make visiting more comfortable for all.
As a family, we are very happy that they are looked after well.
Thank you so much for your kind words about our home and team - they are so appreciated. Best wishes.
My husband has not been in your care for long and it took him quite a while to settle in. Now he seems quite at home, likes the staff and has grown fond of his carers. He loves the food he has and eats well. It will be lovely when I can see and even hold his hand.
Thank you for your kind words; it is wonderful to hear he has settled in well. Best wishes.
Excellent place. Excellent staff. The best of everything. Thanks to everyone.
