Both my parents are resident here. They are very happy and extremely well cared for. The staff are so helpful, understanding and kind.
There are so many activities for residents to join in with if they want to take part. I’m so happy they are here.

My mum has been in this wonderful care home since the middle of February, and I can’t praise it enough. I always said I would never put my Mum in a home, but it is the best thing I could have done for her. She is so happy and so well looked after. The management and staff are always friendly and polite,
especially in these trying circumstances, I really can’t praise them enough. Whenever the staff post anything online that Mum and the other residents are doing, everyone is always smiling and happy, both residents and staff it really warms the heart. I tell people I speak to what a wonderful place it is and show them the photos to prove it. I am looking forward to seeing what they do at Christmas, judging from past activities they do, I bet everyone will have lots of fun. I really can’t praise Stafford Hall enough.

Dad is permanently in a wheelchair, but very active, so I needed somewhere he would be able to get himself around and that had bath hoists and toilet rails etc. I took him to see 5-venues and Stafford Hall was the one he really liked. He said it felt like home as soon as he went in and the staff were
friendly, engaging and interested in him.
They had a double occupancy room that they made available solely to him and removed the extra bed to give him room to get his wheelchair around. They were due to change the carpet and said they would put down laminate as that would be easier for dad to move his wheelchair on. This attention to detail and concern for residence has been a continuing theme here, and it didn't take long for Dad to call it home.
During the pandemic they have been on top of everything, locking down early, isolating residents who have been out on their return and so far have had no cases.
Dad has quickly made friends, and I feel very happy that we were able to get him in here.

My nan spent three years in this care home and was looked after very well. She was always treated with dignity and even when she was rude and awkward they were good with her. As a family, we felt content she was looked after properly.

Bright, warm and friendly. Amazing staff. During these exceptionally difficult times, staff have gone above and beyond to care for residents. Then again, they always do. Involving residents in everyday tasks where possible, makes them feel so much better. Highly recommended.

Stafford Hall is a beautiful home and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to be taken care of by excellent staff. The staff go out of their way to make sure all the residents are happy, fed, watered, medication and entertain them.

I have been in this care home for re-hab as I broke bones in my ankle and couldn't manage on my own. I have put on weight (all this food!), I have been very well looked after and it has been an eye-opener to see what the staff do to care for people, excellent especially in difficult circumstances. Re-virus
we have been kept safe, the staff are very dedicated.

I have found that the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and go that extra mile.
As my mum came into the home during the lockdown and it has been very difficult for me to sort things out for her as I couldn't get in the home, but the staff have been excellent and have sorted everything that I've
need and requested.
My mum receives excellent care and the staff keep me updated at all times. My mum says the food is excellent and the staff are lovely and the care she gets is second to none. My mum is very happy and content her shoe is a great relief to me.

Stafford Hall was recommended to me by the local services for a temporary placement for my mum a couple of months ago. Although slightly apprehensive at first, we have found the home to be a welcoming and very friendly place. My mum has settled in well and made friends with the other residents and seems
to be enjoying herself there. The staff have been very kind and keep me updated. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for their continued hard work.

My mother has been at Stafford Hall for around 10-years. She now has severe dementia and has been on end-of-life for the last three years. The care she receives in the home is exceptional from everyone.
She is unable to do anything for herself and is unable to communicate. The carers are patient and
kind. They wake her, wash and dress her and take her downstairs to be with the other residents for the day. The staff involve mum as much as possible in the daily routine of the home and make sure they help her with meals, drinks and snacks – which she couldn’t do for herself. They also have to hoist her and take her to the toilet often. All of these things they do while chatting and laughing with Mum to encourage her.
The home is clean, bright and well run by the management and there’s a ‘family’ bond between all the staff.
As mum can no longer move or speak to me, I have found it very difficult at times, and they have helped me to cope with the situation.

I am extremely happy with the care that is being provided for my mother who has been with the home since February. As a family, we have noticed how happy she is and we enjoy all the photos and videos that we are updated with regularly on social media. We can not thank the staff enough for all their
hard work and commitment that they give to the residents, especially at this very difficult time. Whenever we ring the home we are able to speak with our mum and nothing is too much trouble, the staff are very helpful. Thank you.

My mum has been at Stafford Hall for the past three years and I couldn’t wish for better care.
The staff know each resident so well, knowing their own little habits and needs.
My mum has often been seriously ill and admitted to the hospital on two occasions. Each time when Mum returned back to the
home, she was nursed back to health with such care and love.
The staff have been really good at updating my mum’s care plan to meet her challenging, changing needs.
During these challenging times of Covid19, I couldn’t have wished for better care. The staff have continued to keep in contact with Mum. It’s lovely to see how happy she is with all the activities; the staff have engaged with for all the residents. Her hair has continued to be set by staff and her nails painted.
She has really enjoyed the choir that takes place every day, and I have never seen her so happy. I don’t have a bad word to say about this care home; it is a family who is quite united.

Each time I've visited my Nan I've been so happy to notice how well the carers and staff are so caring to all residents. The place is beautifully decorated with a lovely garden and there's a real sense of calm about the place. Since lockdown, we've not been able to visit my Nan but the staff post regular
updates on all the residents, showing so many lovely activities they are encouraged to take part in. It's such a good place for my Nan and I feel confident that her best interests are paramount there.

My nan moved into Stafford Hall in January, and the staff were so welcoming and mindful of how scary and how much of a change it was for her and did their best to put her at ease. Until we were unable to due to the Coronavirus lockdown, I visited almost every other day along with my one-year-old daughter
and other members of my family, we were always met with a clean happy environment and friendly staff and residents.
My nan has since settled in fine, enjoying the activities and trips put on, and the staff have gone out of their way during this pandemic to put her and our minds at rest regarding the other's welfare, and to keep the resident's spirits up whilst they cannot have visitors. I am so pleased that my nan can be cared for in a place like this with such a homely environment.

My mum moved into Stafford Hall six weeks ago. It was an alien environment to her and she had many 'down' moments, but something wonderful has happened. She is settling in and has made friends. She now goes down to the dining room every day for all meals and her general attitude is good and she is being
more social than she has been in many years, having lived alone. I read stories from families saying how they saw an improvement in their family members after entering a residential care home and I'm pleased to say they were right: It's exactly what's happened to my mum. The staff are just lovely and very caring and engaging. I feel very confident that Mum is safe and secure and being looked after, to a high standard: especially important during the current coronavirus pandemic.

Mum was referred to Stafford Hall in November and I have found the care given to her of an excellent standard. The home has a really cosy environment. Mum has made friends and is now eating very well, unlike when she was at home. I have found the staff very helpful and open to talk about Mum and her
care. There is a lot of attention to detail to Mum's needs and would recommend the home.
