My aunt was becoming aggressive and not wanting to eat or drink whilst living in her own home. I felt very upset and unsure of how my aunt would cope in a care home. She has now been here a year and she is back to her old self (obviously she still has dementia) but she is no longer angry or lonely,
she eats and is now able to drink from a cup again (without throwing the contents over her carer). She loves to people watch and they have so many activities for the residents, I know she loves to watch them. I am so happy that the staff all show her respect and treat her as an individual and not as a number! Anyone else that is going through that awful dilemma of “is it the right time for a care home?”, please consider this place as I am sure your loved one would be as happy and contented as my aunt.

My mum has been at Stafford Hall for almost two years and the difference in her is huge. She was quite violent and aggressive before but the staff have treated her with care. She has now settled and feels safe and secure. She sees regular carers and is able to relate to them. My family are very happy
that Mum is here and with the effort and care that is given to her.

My father was immediately made welcome at Stafford Hall and all the anxiety and vulnerability he felt living at home not being able to cope, disappeared virtually overnight! He is treated with dignity and respect and is on first-name terms with all members of the care team. He eats well, has put on
weight and loves sitting in the garden. He is also looking forward to his first outing with other residents. We have been able to personalise his room with family photos and art which has made him feel really at home. For me, Stafford Hall stands out more as a home rather than an institutionalised care home. All the care is obviously in place but the building has a more “homely” feel to it. I am so grateful that as a family, we have more peace of mind knowing Dad is safe and cared for.

My mother is cared for with such love, care and empathy by all the staff at Stafford Hall. It really is a home from home, and I can see whenever I visit how happy my mum is.

My very elderly dad spent five weeks here to allow my mum to recover from an operation.
My dad is frail and has quite a few problems and lots of medications. The standout strength of Stafford Hall is the staff. All of the carers, the office staff and the tea lady. Everyone was warm, friendly and caring.
My dad is a lovely man but not always the easiest of people, and everyone was great. Friendly without being invasive, vigilant, professional, well-organised and a great promoter of his dignity.
He loved the food too.

Dad stayed at Stafford Hall for two weeks respite. I also wanted to see what he thought about a home as he will eventually move to one. He left with nothing but positive comments. I myself viewed the home and found all staff to be very kind and friendly. The home was very clean. Dad said his room was
comfortable. I couldn't have asked or expected anymore, and I would recommend this home based on my dad's experience staying there.

Our mum didn't want to go in to care but absolutely loved Stafford Hall and the "lovely ladies" after just a week, a complete shock to us but a fantastic outcome. Stafford Hall is a homely place to live, with fantastic staff, carers and happy residents. I would recommend Stafford Hall to anybody struggling
to make the same decision that we had to make, as it's not easy. Mum is never rushed, and we have witnessed that the staff and carers really do care, something we have not seen in other care homes, sadly. Mum has dementia and has good and bad days. The staff are always on hand and are always approachable, and they have a lovely way of making Mum feel happy and safe. There has been a difference in Mum in such a short space of time; she is not one to mix with others, but she has been mingling with other residents and it shows, she looks good, feels good and her brain activity has improved so much.

There is a lovely atmosphere at Stafford Hall. It feels so homely and welcoming, and you can tell the staff are genuine, friendly and really care about the residents. My mother is in Stafford Hall and I am very happy with the care she is getting. From management to the carers and housekeepers, everyone is really helpful and nice. The home is very clean and always has a nice atmosphere when I visit. The home seems to have a nice family feel.

Mum has been at Stafford Hall since January 2020. She has been very well cared for and the staff are so helpful and caring. Mum has settled in well and loves her new family. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Any questions, they are only too willing to answer them for us. Would recommend

Stafford Hall is an amazing place, everyone there, they are so helpful and supportive. I get kept up to date with everything. My dad joins in all the activities they put on, the food, his room is so clean. The carers are brilliant with my dad, and he really enjoys their company.
