My dad is very happy here at Tye Green Lodge and has settled well. We would like to thank all the carers, seniors and all staff for their help understanding and caring during these past couple of months, particularly during the sad death of my mother which was extremely hard for me and my dad. We, as a family, are very happy with Dad's care and feel we can approach staff with any issues or concerns.
Good day and condolences on the passing of your mother, I am sure she was an amazing wife and mother and may her memory live on within each of you. Thank you for the review and if there is ever anything we can do to improve your father's stay at Tye Green Lodge, let us know.
My partner was accepted by the manager for a move from Devon. Having Parkinson's, the journey from another care home of 260 miles was obviously traumatic. On arrival, the manager and staff were amazing, welcomed him, showered him and reassured him. Within 24 hours all furniture adjustments were done that were necessary for a tall man. Staff are friendly, professional, smart and nothing is too much trouble. All helpful. Partner has settled amazingly well, says it is like a hotel. The bed is comfortable, the food is good and there are choices available. There is a nice garden area and some entertainment. Staff are never too busy to give me guidance. Relaxed, professional, friendly and happy atmosphere. Fortunate to have discovered this home.
Thank you so very much for the very kind words about our care home, we try our best to support and respect all of our amazing residents. We are happy to hear your partner settled well with us and we wish the best to the entire family.
We have always been pleased with the service given to Mum since she entered Tye Green Lodge in June 2021. The staff were always very pleasant. Cleanliness and hygiene are excellent.
Good day and thank you for the review, have a lovely day!
My mother's stay at Tye Green Lodge was very pleasant with excellent food and attentive service throughout. Overall, a pleasant environment. We would recommend it.
Dad was a resident from July 2017 until he passed away in March 2022. I recommend the home 100%. The love and care Dad received was excellent.
My mother was a resident at Tye Green Care Home for the last 7 months of her life. She was very happy there and was cared for very well. My mother was not well enough to go out of her room for most of the time during her stay but she had a great rapport with the staff. We were kept very well informed regarding my mother's health and general care needs and were always made to feel welcome as visitors (it was very hard for the staff when Covid restrictions were in place but even then they welcomed us within the regulations). I think the manager is great - always approachable and upbeat and happy, and several times I was there, I saw him popping in and out saying hello to all the residents. He clearly has a very "hands-on" approach. The staff are all lovely. My mother died in Tye Green Lodge, this was her wish at the end, as for her it had become her home. They ensured that her last weeks were comfortable and as easy as possible. I can't thank them enough.
Good day and thank you for sending us this heartwarming review of your mother's experience at our home. We are extremely proud of our team at Tye Green Lodge and feedback such as this reminds us we are doing something right. Have a lovely day!
From the moment the phone was answered from the first time I rang, the helpfulness was second to none. I cannot thank the manager and all the staff enough for their help in such a difficult time. Everything was fantastic. My one and only thing I would change is the wearing of masks. I know this might be a rule, but the majority of residents are hard of hearing, and they make it more difficult. An expression or a smile would make the difference.
The Government guidelines outlined the wearing of PPE and masks across all care homes, not just to safeguard the amazing residents, but everyone visiting and our...
My mum entered Tye Green Lodge in August 2021. From that very moment, her care was excellent. She was safe, secure, well looked after and happy. All the staff really cared and did all they could to be helpful, along with their professional abilities. Mum was cared for but we as visitors were also shown care and helpfulness. Mum passed away in May and through that period, all the staff showed total care and treated all with total dignity. I could write many words but 'Tye Green Lodge and staff are excellent' sums it all up.
Good day and please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of an amazing woman, your mother. We were pleased to have known her and be a part of her journey. Good wishes to you and the family.
My mum could not have received better care than she had in the last few months of her life. Her room was spacious, bright and cheery. The staff were amazing and the cleanliness and covid restrictions were complied with but I was able to see Mum as much as I needed to.
Good day, and thank you for the review, we understand this must be a difficult time for the family and please accept our condolences once again. If there is anything we can ever do to support you, let us know. Have a blessed day!
So touched by the care and compassion given to my mum.
Good day, and thank you for taking the time to send us the review, this is appreciated. We will continue to try our best to care for our residents treating them with the respect and love they deserve. Have a lovely day!
I am never met by a more cheerful, pleasant lady. She works tirelessly and always greets me with a warmth that is hard to find these days. She always has the time to speak to me and update me on activities that she does for my mum and all the residents. This is difficult at the best of times as she has so many visits to organise and to make sure that all covid procedures are adhered to. this lady is the best advocate that Quantum Care could have. A fine example of how someone in this profession should work and act at all times. You should be proud Quantum Care.
Good day and thank you for taking the time to express your gratitude towards the activities and care team. Everyone at the home tries their best to support the amazing residents. Do have a lovely day!
Staff are always friendly, helpful and accomodating. Very clear on hygiene rules.
Thank you for taking the time to send us this lovely review of our home. Have a lovely day!
Very grateful for the care my mother-in-law received whilst in the care of Tye Green Lodge care home, during the last three months of her life. Excellent manager and senior carer - they did everything possible to help us during her time in their care. Thank you to the whole team, from cleaners to cooking staff and of course, the great manager and care staff for the professional way they conducted themselves. Thank you.
Good day and thank you for taking the time to write and send us that lovely review, please accept our condolences. Your mother was an amazing woman and we were lucky to have time with her at our care home. The comments will be passed to the entire team. Have a lovely day.
No complaints at all about this lovely place. The staff were so caring and attentive to Mum's needs. She was always kept clean and well cared for.
Good day and thank you for taking the time to send us a review, this is appreciated. Stay well and be blessed. Kind regards.
Mum settled in so well and this was due to the way the staff welcomed and cared for her. This meant a lot to our family. I can only thank all the staff for this service.
Good day and thank you for the review, we are really pleased to hear your mum feels welcome and hope this continues on throughout her stay. Let us know if we can support her in any other way. Have a lovely day!
My stepdad was given excellent care at Tye Green Lodge, and we were very grateful that he was able to return there from the hospital for his final week of life. He knew he was loved and cared for, and we were so thankful for the attention he received.
Good day, and thank you for the review. Sincere condolences on the passing of your father, he was an amazing man. May the family have the strength and patience needed to get through this difficult period. Please do call on us at any time.
Tye Green have worked tirelessly to work with both my parents. All the carers work hard. They are friendly and caring, even when under pressure and more so when dealing with difficult residents and family members. You are all an inspiration - thank you and well done.
Good day and thank you for taking the time to send us this lovely review of Tye Green Lodge, we are very proud of our home and the team try their best to treat all residents with the love and respect they deserve. Have a lovely day!
The care my mum received at Tye Green over a period of two and a half years word's cannot describe. Carers all go above and beyond their care for all the residents. My mum was treated with the highest quality care, and carers have always encouraged Mum to get up when she was having a bad day and to eat drink and take medication. Mum's clothes were kept clean and looking nice. The building always spotless, including Mums bedroom. Mum enjoyed her meal times and was always served great meals, which she enjoyed very much. Mum's health deteriorated this last 17-months after the death of her daughter; the staff were so supportive and done a wonderful job trying to keep Mum motivated, encouraged Mum to join in daily activities. Mum spent her last week very poorly, all carers were excellent showing so much kindness, care and support keeping Mum's dignity at all times. Again, going above and beyond their duties. There are no words to describe them or the care Mum received, including the manager and team - simply outstanding
I would like to thank you for such kind words for my team, especially during these difficult times. We are committed to continuing providing the highest standards of care. It has been a real privilege to be part of your mother’s life. She touched us all and memories of her will stay with us forever.
Mum is on end of life care. The family were called, five days down the line, she is still going. The staff are exceptional with the care they give to Mum and the care towards the family. Nothing is too much. The management and office staff were very helpful in a very difficult time. Tye Green could not do enough for us and continue to do so.
I would like to thank you for your very kind words for all the staff at Tye Green Lodge. It is an honour for all of us to be in your mum’s life.
Due to Coronavirus have been unable to visit my 92-year-old mother since March but have eventually managed to visit due to arrangements made by Tye Green Lodge. Very professional with the safety of residents the main priority.
Thank you for your kind feedback. Whilst our homes have done a wonderful job keeping our residents in contact with their loved ones through phone and Skype calls, postcards etc, our recent garden visits, with social distancing measures in place, have been extremely successful in reconnecting...

I enjoy cooking and interacting with the residents, it’s really good to be able to make food they like eating that also supports their well-being.

The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Managers will each bring their unique skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things, while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to provide the best of everything for their residents.

The best part of my job is that every day is different.
Getting to know the residents and hearing about their lives is lovely as well.
