Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us!
Our mum has been a resident for five years. We have consistently found the staff to be very kind and caring, giving a positive feeling to everyday care. The activities are done in a fun atmosphere which lifts the vibe for everyone. We have just attended an excellent coffee morning raising funds for dementia. The finished redecorating of the home makes the home feel bright, modern, clean and fresh. We are very happy with the home.
Mother came to Tye Green Lodge on the basis of recommendations so we were pleased when a place was available for her at the time it became necessary. The staff have been consistently thoughtful and considerate towards her and we have been reassured by the level of care shown throughout her stay. the family were always kept informed of any concerns and these were acted on promptly.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Providing exceptional care and support to our residents is our top priority!
-Excellent care.

We are delighted to hear your kind words. Our team at Tye Green Lodge strive on providing outstanding care to all of our residents.
I feel very lucky to have found Tye Green Lodge as a care home for my elderly dad. Tye Green Lodge is a friendly place where residents are valued as individuals and are treated kindly and with respect. Every effort is made to cater for the diverse needs of the residents. The home (and the residents) is beautifully clean and well-presented. The garden is lovely. The staff are amazing and create a family feeling. Ths wonderful care home provided a 'blueprint' for what care time should be.
Wishing you a lovely day!
My father was in Tye Green for over a year. In that time, he was always shown care and kindness by all staff, not only the carers but all employees. From the moment you enter Tye Green, there is a feeling of happiness. I visited the home every day and at all different times, and the resident always seemed happy and cared for. When my father passed away, the compassion that was shown was lovely to see.
We truly appreciate your positive feedback! Our dedicated team work tirelessly to ensure that every resident receives the highest quality of care. We will miss your father dearly.
Mum wasn't keen (old school about care homes) but I persevered and got her in. They suggested to give Mum two weeks to get used to it. I went to pick her up and come to mine for the day at 1 1/2 weeks and she didn't want to go... Says it all! It's like staying at a hotel. It's bright and airy, everyone has a smile, and Mum is safe, well fed and well-looked after. I enjoy going to visit her! I'd like to put my name down when it's my turn, please.
We're delighted that you have a wonderful experience at our care home! It's incredibly rewarding to know that our efforts to create a warm and welcoming environment for residents and their families are appreciated. Have a wonderful day!
My aunt enjoys her time in Tye Green Lodge. There are plenty of activities she is involved with. She enjoys the food, the rooms are clean and the staff treat her with kindness and dignity.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Tye Green Lodge will be delighted to hear your feedback.
Overall, I think my mother is being very well looked after at this care home and although the food is very good, maybe it is too good. Therefore, to control residents' weight and wellbeing is there the possibility of maybe introducing smaller portion sizes and more regular exercise sessions. This of course will be very much dependant on the mobility of each resident.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Tye Green Lodge are delighted to have your mother stay with us and will certainly take on board your feedback. Wishing you a Happy New Year!
My father has been a resident for just over four months and loves the care and attention he receives. I have found the experience extremely rewarding for my father. The staff and facilities are excellent and they can't do enough for all their residents.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Tye Green Lodge are delighted to have your Father stay with us! Wishing you a great day!
There is a variety of activities for different interests and abilities.
You can always speak to senior members of staff if you have any issues or concerns.
Thank you for your comment. We are delighted to have your mum stay with us at Tye Green Lodge. Wishing you a great day!
Mum was at Tye Green Lodge for 3.5 years. It was the best decision our family could have made. The care home is exceptional and Mum was very happy there. The staff treated me and Mum with such care and dignity as she approached the end of her life.
Have a lovely day!
My mother had to move from her previous care home that was closing and found the change very challenging. However, the staff have been very caring and patient and Mum is now settling into this very nice Tye Green Lodge Care Home. I would recommend this home.
Thank you for your comment. The team are delighted to have your mum stay with us at Tye Green Lodge. Have a wonderful day!
My father has been a resident since 2018 and has been so well cared for. He is treated with respect, kindness and compassion. The home is excellent at keeping me up to date with any changes in his medication or condition. Whenever I call, there is always someone who is fully aware of his current situation. Tye Green Lodge is clean, well looked after, friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend it.
Your father is an amazing man and we are lucky to have him with us at Tye Green Lodge. Have a lovely day!
My brother-in-law moved into Tye Green Lodge on a temporary basis as my sister was unwell and he couldn't stay at home on his own. From the time he arrived, he was treated so well and his condition improved considerably. He has been well cared for and the staff have always treated him with respect and dignity. He was happy during his time there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home to anyone.
I had two recommendations for Tye Green Lodge and was so impressed on viewing the home, I didn't even visit any others. The manager was so obviously dedicated and proud of his home and staff. The purpose-built home is bright and cheerful and has rooms of a good size, all en-suite. My mum was very frail and confused nine months ago when she came directly from a hospital stay and we all feared that she wouldn't be able to survive for long. It is amazing how she has thrived, gained weight with the delicious food, is definitely contented and mentally much more alert and loves the carers. A big relief to all of our family that Mum is now safe and cared for.
Thank you so much for this lovely review, we are extremely proud of Tye Green Lodge, the manager and the entire team. Have a lovely day!
I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support my husband receives from all the staff, especially the manager who has gone above and beyond to accommodate my husband's sometimes challenging needs. I regret no longer being able to care for my husband at home but after visiting I now go home knowing he is safe and receiving the best possible care in the circumstances we find ourselves in. Thank you to everyone involved at Tye Green Lodge.
Good day and thank you for the lovely comments about our home. If there is ever anything we can support the family with please let us know. Have a lovely day!
My review covers both my aunt and my mother-in-law over a period od 10 - 12 years. It may seem strange that all ratings are 5 out of 5, but truly if I could give higher ratings I would. Can only say excellent, does not do the care home justice. We are so lucky and grateful. Kind regards.
Thank you very much for these lovely comments and high ratings. We remain committed to all residents and families, call on us anytime. Have a lovely day!
From the outset, there was extraordinary attention to detail. My wife and I were most impressed by how much Tye Green Lodge wanted to know about our mother before she became a resident, in order for the staff to establish a connection with her and make her feel at home. Sadly, at less than three months, her stay was all too brief to benefit from all the facilities, her health was too poor to enjoy the activities and meals on offer, so we cannot comment on these, although from what we saw, they looked excellent. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with nothing but warmth and kindness, affection even, good humour, empathy and constant encouragement. To know how well she was being cared for was a huge reassurance to us and we will always be grateful.
I would like to say how impressed I was with the care my mother received at Tye Green Lodge in the last few days of her life, in September 2022. The manager and his assistant always acted towards us with professionalism and courtesy. The staff obviously really cared about my mother and showed her kindness and dignity even when she was unconscious. Finally, her clothes and room were always clean and thought was obviously given to her needs.
Please accept our condolences, your mother was an amazing woman and we were lucky to have her with us at Tye Green. May you and the rest of the family continue being strong and live with her beautiful memories.

Meet the Team (3)

I enjoy cooking and interacting with the residents, it’s really good to be able to make food they like eating that also supports their well-being.

The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Managers will each bring their unique skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things, while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to provide the best of everything for their residents.

The best part of my job is that every day is different.
Getting to know the residents and hearing about their lives is lovely as well.
