Tye Green Lodge is a purpose-built 60-bed care home situated in Harlow that is divided into four separate living units, each of which practises a high level of personal care to elderly people, half of whom have a dementia-related illness.

This modern facility has en-suite bedrooms, is comfortably furnished and fitted with a number of safety measures, including nurse call systems that allow care to be more efficient.

Residents also have landscaped gardens to enjoy, a sensory room, beauty treatments and church services if they choose, while qualified staff encourage personal interests and hobbies for their many mental and physical benefits.

My partner had a fall in the dining room and although it was reported to the ambulance service at 10.30am, an ambulance never arrived until about 12.30.
During the time that she was laying on the floor, staff took it in turns to lay by the side of her to help her and try and comfort her.
I arrived from my home near Gatwick at 11am and a member of staff gave me information on what had happened and comforted me before I lay on the floor with my partner as well and gave her some reassuring cuddles.
It turned out that she had fractured her left hip and it was the right thing to do by laying on the floor. (Also because I am disabled they did everything possible to make me comfortable and also assisted me up and into the ambulance with her).

My father has been living at Tye Green Lodge for over a year. It is lovely. He has been in another residential home but it was not like Tye Green and I worried about my father's health and Care. I have no concerns for my father now. He is happy and well cared for. The staff are so kind and attentive. I think choosing Tye Green was the best decision we could have made and dad agrees wholeheartedly.
