Kathryn Court

We have always been treated with courtesy, interest and respect. My aunt was a resident at Kathryn Court nearly 10 years ago and was extremely well looked after and cared for even when seriously ill in the last few months of her life. Kathryn Court was the natural choice of care home for my step-father. He was kindly received and helped to settle in and is very happy with the way in which he is looked after, fed well with varied 'home-cooked' meals and always treated with respect.

The boss, in particular, is so easy to approach and her dedication goes throughout the home, throughout all the staff.

As soon as we walked in we knew this was where we wanted mum to be. The home is obviously extremely well managed and the staff highly motivated. All of the residents we meet seem content and happy. Residents every need is catered for. All of our questions and worries have been brilliantly resolved by the manager and her staff, all of whom have always been polite and gone "the extra mile" consistently. Couldn't ask for a better place for mum to be.

Since my wife's admission to Kathryn Court, I have been very impressed by the care and attention she has received. The staff are very polite and go about their duties in a very efficient manner creating a lovely atmosphere. The facilities and food are very good. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone in similar circumstances.

My mother has been a resident of Kathryn Court for 9 years and has been wonderfully looked after. Her condition is remarkable- she's 91 and has not deteriorated because the staff are so attentive, efficient and friendly. They come promptly when she rings, her room is properly cleaned each day, the meals are well planned and portions a good size. On occasions when she has been ill, they have swiftly contacted medical services. I would also say that the atmosphere is happy and friendly- it's noticeable every time I visit.

My mother has been at Kathryn Court for a few months now and it is like a 'home from home'. All of the staff are friendly and the home is just like a hotel, with flowers in the entry and lots of personal touches as you walk around. My mum has been for quite a few trips and loves the cream teas that take place.

I am delighted to see how pristine it is everywhere is and how all patient's doors are open for all to see that they are happy and contented and extremely clean and homely. Staff courteous and accommodating.

Our aunt moved into Kathryn Court unsettled. We have noticed recently how well she has settled in. On her 90th birthday in July she has a lovely trip to Old Leigh including fish+chips and ice cream. A tea party in the afternoon supplied by Kathryn Court with decorations. The family attended and she enjoyed herself. The staff are very kind and attentive. Kathryn Court is always praising the food and she now looks really well. My sisters and I are so pleased that our aunt has gone into Kathryn Court.

Staff always friendly, my dad is looked after very well. Enjoyed the family BBQ. Home is always kept very clean. Manager and admin nice and friendly, and help with any queries.

As a regular visitor to Kathryn Court, I am always pleased to see how happy and content my grandmother is, and how attentive all the staff are.

So happy that my dad has come to this home, is doing so well and being well looked after. I am so happy.

My mother in law has been resident here since December 2015. Recently her condition has deteriorated and without the care and support provided by the excellent staff here we would not have coped with this new situation. Moved mum to Kathryn Court in December 2015 from another care home that was failing her needs. Kathryn Court is vey local to us and had been recommended by friends. The staff and management coped with a very difficult move for mum in a professional and caring manner, and we have been extremely impressed with every aspect of the care given and the accommodation provided. In addition they have provided us with a high level of personal and emotional support at a challenging time.

The home at Kathryn Court is very good. The manager is very helpful and informative and the staff spend time and look after my aunt. My aunt is very happy and content.
