My Dad received very good care in the months he was there, July 18 - May 19. My Mum also received excellent care, even though she was there for only a week in 2018.

This home is one of the tidiest homes I have been to. The staff are lovely, they are always willing to help my friend regardless of how busy they are. They are always smiling. Management are also willing to help with any issues myself or my family or my friend needs to raise. I rate this home 10/10.

My mom has been in Leatherland Lodge for over a year. My mom gets the best care, carers are very good and friendly. The home and deputy manager are approachable and they do an amazing job in the home. I attended the Christmas party. I think it was the best Christmas party for elderly people I have ever seen.

This care home is one of the cleanest homes I've visited. I visit my friends relative here on a daily basis. The staff are extremely friendly, always willing to help me or the relative if we have any problems. If there are any serious problems I go to the management and it's always sorted within 72 hours. The activities are always going on in the home, cooking, nail painting, dancing or singing the old songs.

The rooms are a good size the value for the money. The food is always freshly made by the cooks and good portion sizes also its always severed with a smile by the staff in the dining room. There's always somewhere to go to if you ever want to take your family in for a quiet chat.

Excellent staff and management, my sister is looked after very well. My sister does not like to socialise, she likes to stay in her room so I was worried about her. When I saw the home, it has planned activities for the residents who stay in their rooms, I was amazed. My sister doesn't know how to use the phone but the home has an iPad based activity called ''Tablet of fun'', it's an amazing idea, my granddaughter visits my sister every weekend and plays games on the iPad with her, my granddaughter calls her on facetime in weekdays. I think its very person-centred activity. The home has excellent future plans as I was informed about ''Aladdin'' play in the local theatre, I thought my sister wouldn't go but she went and enjoyed it. I am sure Leatherland Lodge deserves 10/10. I recommended this home to all my friends. Excellent care, staff, management and home.

My mother went into Leatherland Lodge upon leaving a hospital.
She had lost weight and gained pressure sores.
With the amazing care from all the staff, she has gained weight and the pressure sores have gone.
Nothing is too much for the carers and management with regard to my mother.
They assisted where necessary with all the paperwork.

I can't thank them enough.

We have found this care home to be very good. My mum is very well looked after and treated with care, respect and dignity. We always find her to be clean and tidy.
The room she has is always very clean - good standards - as is the care home. The staff are lovely, the food is very varied and good and wholesome.

We feel at ease knowing Mum is being cared for and looked after well at all times.

My mother has been here for 8 years and her care could not have been better. The staff are efficient and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is good and varied and there are various activities for the residents to join in.

Rooms are all different, some much bigger than others, but furnished comfortably.

Visitors are always made welcome and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

I visited my cousin this month and I was delighted to meet the new manager who was most supportive of the needs of my cousin who is almost 95 and has had a recent spell in the hospital which has upset her and has exacerbated her confusion. She is being well cared for and the staff are keeping me informed every step of the way which is a comfort to me because I live in Scotland.

Excellent care in Leatherland Lodge. Excellent staff and activities. my aunt enjoyed st George's day party and Brunch on Saturday. I come to know that the new home manager arranged the party and brunch. I was very pleased to see him, he has very exciting future plans for the service users. overall I am very happy to see my aunt participating in activities she used to stay in her room but I can see a difference in past few weeks, I noticed that she is enjoying the activity and daily meals in the dinning room.

I find the home very good. It is a tad too hot for my liking but that's not a bad thing for the residents. A shower would be nice in the bathrooms. Overall the home is very friendly and well run and very comfortable for the residents.

Since being relocated to Leatherland Lodge in July of this year, we have noticed a dramatic change in my mother's well-being and all-round general demeanour for the best. The quality of care has in my opinion improved and my mum seems to have settled into her new environment quite effortlessly.
The staff have all be wonderful on so many levels and do continue to provide all round care for mum day in and day out.
This is an excellent establishment and would highly recommend it all.

Thank you.

I have always found all the staff genuinely caring towards my aunt and all the residents. They have the welfare of the residents as their priority at all times. These are my observations when visiting the home. I believe that the ethos cascades from the manager and this plays a big part in the residents care.
