All the staff seemed to have worked hard to get my relative settled - it wasn't easy because of the sudden worsening of their dementia just prior to moving in. But my relative now seems calm and content. The staff are generally attentive and kind - and recognise my relative's sense of humour and have a good laugh with them. There are plenty of activities which they can pick and choose from - something for everyone. The garden and cool open lounge areas have been a blessing in this hot weather.
Dad's bathroom door doesn't shut, and this is still waiting to be fixed. However, when his heater broke, a mobile heater was instantly given.
The interim manager is lovely and very helpful. Overall, very happy with the care given, the security of the building and the food. Dad is happy.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. We're really glad to hear that Dad is happy and enjoying his time with Sarah, and that our team is making him feel cared for and supported. We truly appreciate your patience with the bathroom door issue and will make sure it's resolved as soon as...
The staff have been so kind and helpful. Diana has been so much calmer since she has been in the home, and her wellness has been so much better. They look after her so well.

Since Dad has been here, his mood and frame of mind has improved. The care staff are amazing and give dad full respect and dignity, as well as choices. He loves activities and taking part, he is kept clean, and aprons are warm, when needed. The room is always clean. Management are good and approachable. Dad enjoys his food, good choices. Dad feels safe here.
Thank you for your comments, they are much appreciated, and they will be passed onto the staff.
On viewing the Arbory, the greeting, understanding and interest shown by staff expelled my fears. I felt my husband would be in a safe environment, cared for by a dedicated/ skilled team and my family and I can visit at any time. The home is bright, well-designed, which enables residents to maximise their independence and interests with the safety of staff available at all times. Thank you.

The staff at The Arbory have made what was a very hard decision on the first day into a blessing. As our Mum is looked after so so well. She seems very happy there and always lights up when the staff come into her room. Nothing is ever too much trouble and are always happy to help. They helped make our Mum's room extra special with all her personal things around her, and putting up lots of family photos and pictures which she loves to look at as they comfort her. And she loves to chat to the staff about everyone in them which they always happily do. And the staff are not just there for our Mum, they have always been there for us too.
Thank you for the lovely review. We have an amazing care team who strive to make every resident and their family part of our Arbory family your mum is a delight and brightens our day. I will share this amazing review with the care team thank you for taking the time to write this.
I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly when visiting my aunt and the managers are always at hand for any concerns I may have. My aunt is always well-dressed and looks well cared for. Thank you for the hard work that you all do!
Thank you for your kind review, I will pass your comments to the Arbory staff.
Since Mum went into the Arbory Residential Home in July 2024 we have been so pleased with the care she is given. All the staff are really lovely with her and other residents. All the staff from all different areas are amazing. Such a friendly and warm place. Couldn't have wished for anything better for our mum. She is very happy there and loves her room. All made very personal with all her own things and photos. They always chat when I go there or they phone me if they need to. We don't have to worry about her since she has been there. It's a wonderful place.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. We will be sure to pass this on to our Team at Arbory who work so hard to make sure that our residents are well taken care of and happy.
It is a little way away from where I live and have to rely on my daughter to take me. But when we needed the care this was the only one locally that had an excellent report and my husband is happy there.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we appreciate the time that you have taken to give us feedback.
Every time I visit Mum which is about 2 times a week I find the staff always extremely friendly and also helpful. I feel my mum is being well looked after here and it is lovely to see her sitting in the lounge and pleasant to sit with her. She is always clean as is her room and I look forward to the summer to take her outside in the garden. Staff are caring and friendly so no complaints.
Thank you for your review, feedback is always welcomed. This helps us evaluate the service provided at The Arbory, which in turn enables the team to maintain high standards.
These photos were her only possessions and after her passing, were all that needed to be collected, which they were a week later. Unbeknown to me, a charge of over £200 a day accrued as they were not picked up within three days.
Families, please be aware of this extra fee because you won’t be advised of this.
I emailed head office who have not bothered to reply.
We pride ourselves in caring for our residents, if we haven’t met the expectations of the next of kin we would of course wish to apologise.
I have had the opportunity to look into your complaint carefully.
Your Mother was moved to the third...
I am very happy with the consistent level of care that my husband receives at Arbory Residential Home. The staff are all wonderful and treat him with respect and affection beyond what I expected when I placed him there.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We appreciate the feedback!
We are really happy with the care that our mother is getting, always clean and very happy. The staff are brilliant, and the facilities are excellent. All-round great!
Overall Mum is happy at Arbory. The gentleman taking charge at the home is very informative and helpful. Need activities to keep residents active and stimulated.
I feel there could be improvements across the board. Residents need more activities. General personal care needs addressing.
All staff very helpful at all times.
