I cant praise Ashbury Lodge enough, and have recommended to many

The staff are excellent and manage mums care well, despite her difficult behaviour. The food is very good and age appropriate. Mum is eating so well there. The home is well run and the staff work well as a team. Everyone tries hard to make it a welcoming and homely environment.

Only one suggestion that I do have is more activity for the residents that are up and about, whether that be entertainment, music, quizzes.

Thank you for everything you did for my family and I, I miss my daily visits but will look out for your regular fetes.

If you are looking at somewhere for a loved one i would highly recommend Churchview care home in stratton.

My brother is well cared for, is calm and seems to be happy.

All the staff seemed to have worked hard to get my relative settled - it wasn't easy because of the sudden worsening of their dementia just prior to moving in. But my relative now seems calm and content. The staff are generally attentive and kind - and recognise my relative's sense of humour and have a good laugh with them. There are plenty of activities which they can pick and choose from - something for everyone. The garden and cool open lounge areas have been a blessing in this hot weather.

I would like to share a very well-deserved review for James, the Manager, and all the wonderful staff at Avebury House. Over the past few months, my mother has improved significantly. She is now enjoying socialising with others and taking part in the activities on offer, which has been lovely to see. She seems much happier and more settled and no longer becomes upset when I leave after visiting. Avebury House is clearly very well run, and the staff are consistently kind, courteous, and caring towards the residents. Improvements to the décor, overall environment, and equipment are clearly a constant, ongoing project. As a family, we are very grateful to know that Mum is being so well cared for. It gives us enormous peace of mind and relief to see her safe, supported, and content. Thank you to James and the whole team for the care, kindness, and dedication you show every day.

Mum has settled into the nursing home well, which is due in large part to the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Despite her dementia, which often leaves her confused and disoriented, I am confident that she is well looked after and treated with respect and dignity.

With the problems that my father has encountered the staff has been wonderful at handling everything from simple tasks like complete care to more complicated ones. They are highly reliable and I would recommend Coate water care to anyone that is interested. Gideon does his best to resolve problems and gets the problem sorted as soon as possible he is a wonderful manager and I am able to have my full trust in the staff.

What impressed us even more was that by Monday morning our visit had been acknowledged, and arrangements were made to come and meet Dad. He moved into Ashbury Lodge shortly afterwards, and the care he has received ever since has been outstanding. Every member of staff we have met has shown genuine compassion, patience and understanding towards Dad and his individual needs. As a family, this has been incredibly reassuring. Dad had been living independently before unexpectedly suffering a stroke, so his move into residential care was a huge adjustment and emotional shock for us all.

Positive atmosphere for residents, facilities very clean.

My Dad was taken in at Short notice from Hospital. He needed Palliative care. He was there for 5 weeks and had lots of care, and was not on his own at the end. The building was clean and the Staff were very understanding

Throughout my mothers stay at Avebury House for the past 18 months I have found the staff to be caring and supportive of all my mothers needs. She particularly enjoys the lovely gardens. All the staff are happy to listen and respond to any questions or requests. There are lots of fun activities offered to residents. The new manager has made a positive impact with improvements to the whole environment, including a cinema room and seating area to watch the canal.

Although I feel the decor could be updated, the care team were brilliant. Thank you!

James & Jazmine have made the process of moving Mum into the carehome less painless with their help and understanding. From the initial show around to Mums admission has been handled with great compassion

Chapel House provided a very caring service. My partner was treated with dignity and respect. The staff were wonderful, the management very caring through a very difficult time for us.
