My wife's clothes went missing, and strangers' clothes were in place instead. My wife lost her wedding ring, various clothes, a commemorative coin etc. The food was very basic, and no attempt to make a meal to appeal to her, was ever offered. My overview is that the Manager and her staff were doing their best to manage under severe financial restraints. The owners should be ashamed.

dad never lacked for company. It put the family at ease to know that he was being so well cared for. You couldn't single any one person out as they all worked as a team. The home was cleaned everyday, the laundry usually came back within the day and the variety and quality of meals were first rate. The medical team were always around if you needed to discuss anything or were concerned. Everyone in the home, including the office team worked together to make dads stay as enjoyable as could be expected. Sadly, dad passed away three weeks ago and the care and dignity shown to him can never be repaid by the family. The team were totally respectful and caring to him and to his family. I cannot praise them enough.

I cannot rate this home highly enough for palliative care. The home is clean with good infection prevention control measures in place. The staff are diligent and have good awareness of IPC. The home are also accommodating to the families' requests as much as possible, making the setting appear less clinical and more like a family home.
