I cannot fault the care team at Church View. They always treated Dad with care and dignity, especially in his last few weeks and days Dad got on well with all the care team and was well-liked by everyone.
The management team were always available and willing to help with any and all issues that arose.

Although I feel the decor could be updated, the care team were brilliant. Thank you!

My sister was discharged from hospital to Church View in Jan 2026 and was cared for until her death on 26/6/26. Everyone at Church View were so lovely and treated my sister with care and kindness. She was encouraged by the activities team to join in and she really enjoyed that while she could. The staff looked after her so well even when she was confined to bed, nothing was too much trouble and the manager was always so attentive and made sure that everything we asked for was done. I would highly recommend Church View to anyone looking for a care home.

My partner was only in Church View for twelve days before her passing, but she was so well looked after. The staff were very caring and also made me feel welcome when I visited. On the day of her passing, I was treated with such compassion. I have nothing but praise for Church View & can highly recommend them.

Church View is a lovely nursing home. The initial meeting with manager was friendly and very helpful. My mother was kept clean during her short stay. The room was clean, light and had a lovely outlook. During the end of life care, we did have concerns that the care wasn't proactive in regards to pain relief - we had to ask on numerous occasions for this to be increased due the painful condition my mother suffered with. Staff were very professional during this time, which we are grateful.

We are all very happy. Happy with the nursing home staff. Excellent and happy my wife has been treated with care and kindness. Feel very content she seems to be in good hands. The only negative is that the facility could do with some updating.

I came to see my best friend Valarie and knowing that she was in a different care home before, when I came to Church View Care Home, immediately I could see the difference, how caring, how attentive and loving they all are to Valarie's needs. The staff are so friendly and always attentive.

Fiona and her expert and passionate team at Church View have provided my mother with the highest standard of care during what has been an incredibly challenging time. My mother has very complex needs, as a result of injuries, immobility and dementia, and the team at Church View are absolutely dedicated to all aspects of the care they provide her. I do not believe there is a better home or standard of care for someone with complex dementia and physical care needs.

My mother was discharged from the hospital into the care of Church View Care Home. The manager and her team have offered Mum outstanding care. They have shown Mum great respect, and her treatment (medical) has been outstanding. My brother and I can't thank you enough for taking Mum into your care. My husband came to Church View needing complex nursing care. Every member of staff were very kind to him and treat him with great respect and met with all his requirements. He was bed bound most of the time and unable to eat so cannot comment on this.

Unfortunately he passed away but so pleased that he was so well cared for in his last days. I also received lovely support from Manager and all the staff.

My mother has been at Church View for approximately 3-and-a-half years. The staff are very friendly and also happy to answer any queries I have regarding Mum's health. Mum is always treated with respect and kept clean. They do wonders in helping with maintaining her weight. They also welcome our family dog.

My dad was resident at Church View this is a home for Dementia and Alzheimer's, yet the staff take offence to a 91 year old man swearing, name calling, and outbursts. Hold family accountable for his actions and us apologising constantly saying this so out of character of my dad. On occasions certain staff being rude to family saying things like tell him to stop name calling and one member of staff saying do you think its nice the way your dad treats us. My reply was sorry but you should not be a Dementia carer with that attitude. To me they are not trained enough in dealing with elderly with Dementia, no compassion whatsoever. Staff need to be trained properly if working in this type of home, Dad had fall, split his head open. safety mat didn't go off, why? Paramedics tended to Dad and told staff to call community nurse to glue the gash. That didn't happen, dad was removed from the home, for his safety. Has now passed away two days ago. He will be buried with a black eye and a bad gash on forehead.

We are really happy with the excellent care given to Dad. He went into Church View for respite but has since decided to stay, as he's happy there.

His health has improved significantly and the staff are excellent, all very caring, with the management always ready to discuss any questions we have about Dad's care, which is very reassuring.

We are so grateful to the manager and the team for taking such excellent care of our dad. Everyone is so welcoming whatever time or day we visit. The activities are great, the food is good, and it's lovely that we can join Dad for a meal or take a treat in for him. The staff are so accommodating and so much effort has continued to be made to get to know Dad, understand his individual needs and personalise his care. A huge thank you to everyone at Church View.

From day 1, the staff went over and above to care for our Mum. They treated her with dignity and sensitivity. All staff are attentive, friendly, and welcoming - no matter what time of the day or night. Staff couldn't do more to make visitors feel welcome and comfortable.

Any adaptations to the room were always accommodated promptly and laundry was completed very efficiently. Can't thank the staff enough.

This month Church View helped myself and family members hold a commitment ceremony in the grounds of the home for my sister and her partner.

The time and effort put in by all of the staff was above and beyond what I would describe as their normal duties. The team from the home right through from the management to the handyman worked tirelessly the whole day, and they should all feel proud of what they achieved. I cannot express enough thanks to them all.

My father-in-law was admitted into the home in February 2024. The staff worked with him brilliantly and he settled in fairly quickly. He has special dietary requirements, which are being catered for by the brilliant kitchen team. The staff are the home are beyond belief. Everyone is friendly and caring and makes my father-in-law feel at home. He actually calls it "home sweet home". Would highly recommend the home, if you want your loved ones to go to a happy home!
