Having recently visited my mum at Whiteoaks, I can only praise the management and staff for their kind, loving attitude, compassionate care and the high standards they continue to maintain in these unprecedented times. My mum is safe, happy and well looked after. I could not ask for more.
Good walks in the garden staff are good-natured.
I have been here for 2 years now. I only came here for respite care but I decided to stay. I enjoy life here and I feel safe and happy. I can't wait for my family to be able to visit me again.
I am quite happy with whatever is presented to me.
Staff are all very friendly.
I have been living here for four months. I have a comfortable room, and I have found the carers very helpful and the rest of the staff too. I have enjoyed living there better than I thought I would.
I am very happy and contended having been in this home for a year and all the staff are really wonderful.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The meals are nice and the company pleasant.
Staying for respite after a hip operation for around three weeks. Enjoy the food, staff assistance and care.
I have been here for 6 months and I am very grateful for the care I am having. The care staff are always very cheerful and don't talk down to us etc. The only thing I am not satisfied with is being a diabetic. I have to rely on the outside nurses to tell them how to look after that side of things after 30 years of managing myself. I have to rely on other folk doing this for me and not getting it right.
I have been here for 10 months now. I like everything being done for me. I like the carers and the food is good.
I have been here for 6 months and have had excellent treatment. The staff are very caring and very helpful. I am getting to know the other residents.
Living in a 'care home' is new to me. I am unable to look after myself. That is why I am here, being cared for very well.
This is the most amazing care home I have ever visited! My parents have been beautifully cared for. Their care has been personalised and respectful of all their needs. My Father died of a 'heart attack' whilst residing there and the staff, not only comforted and cared for my Mum but allowed some of the family to stay over. We were given food and drink and treated with empathy and dignity.
I have a very small room, cupboards and drawers are not very easy to open or close. Most staff are kind and helpful.
My father has been at Whiteoaks since September 2015 and had had a very positive experience there. The staff most of whom have been there for a long time and are kind, caring and looks after their residents really well. We, as a family are included in all decision-making activities and events during the year which families are invited to. Fab place, very clean and amazing gardens for the residents, wouldn't have my father anywhere else.
She is very well fed from a varied menu choice each day.
The 'in house' activities are plentiful and relatives are also catered for. We are very happy with the care mum receives and so is she, we have great peace of mind now.
We have been fortunate to have friends living at Whiteoaks Care Home, Fareham. When I visited I was treated with courtesy by staff, offered refreshments, my friend who lives there is lucky as the staff are kind, caring and love their job. The place is very well maintained, always clean and my friend tells me of the activities and level of care they receive. The rooms are lovely - like a nice B&B. My friend is well attended to and very happy here.
I am happy here. I have been here two years and have no regrets.
