Lawnbrook Care Home, in Portswood, Southampton, is a purpose-built Residential care home with 30 beds which are all en suite. It has beds available for a variety of residential and dementia care requirements, for long and short term stays, having additional expertise to care for dementia sufferers.

The home is also an ideal facility for people who have physical disabilities, with spacious interiors and comfortable furnishings to ensure that mobility problems are made simpler - with occupancy for couples and friends also.

An open-plan interior makes for a pleasant social setting, with private meeting areas and even a small chapel area.

The team of Carers are committed to providing excellent care and maintain the residents' person-centred care plan.

Residents are encouraged to participate in activities and events and also indulge in delicious cooked meals.

My husband has dementia and has been living in Lawnbrook Care Home for over a year. The staff there are always kind, caring, cheerful and patient and welcoming to visitors. The food looks home-cooked and inviting. All residents have access to other services, like chiropody or GP and I am always kept
informed of any changes. My husband tells me he is happy there, even though he'd rather be home.
I have no hesitation recommending Lawnbrook to anyone seeking a care home for their loved one and would like to thank all staff who work hard to make residents feel happy, settled and comfortable.

It is a friendly care home, the staff are helpful and caring, showing kindness and privacy to the service users. My 100-year-old mother seems to be settling in well after the shock of leaving the hospital and going straight to a care home.

Following a two-week stay in hospital he was transferred to Lawnbrook at our request to enable him to recover and improve his mobility. The staff were all very welcoming, caring, helpful and efficient. During his four-week stay, all aspects of his health were assessed by a GP, community nurse, occupational
therapist, community mental health doctor and optician. His general health and mobility under their care improved sufficiently to enable him to return to his home to live.

Mum was treated with dignity and respect by the staff at the care home. They were kind and gentle, which gave us comfort as a family. The staff often spoke to Mum in Punjabi or Hindi which was lovely to hear and see.
The care home facilitated Mum's passing to be as comforting as possible. We as a family
appreciate the space, care, and respect we were shown. It has made a huge difference. The team at the care home provides excellent care.

I can't express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care my Mum receives at Lawnbrook Care Home. Due to her dementia, she needed a supportive environment and from the very start, the staff were incredibly kind, respectful, and attentive to her needs. Mum thrived in the communal setting, with
the ethos of bringing the residents together made a significant difference. The small lounges at Lawnbrook provide lovely spaces for family celebrations, which meant a lot to us.
Even during her setbacks with health the staff encouraged her independence and made sure she was comfortable in the main lounge.
In her final weeks, the staff provided her with love and respect and they were so supportive of the family, and supplied plenty of tea and biscuits! I cannot praise them enough.

Excellent care, knowledgeable and professional staff. Very good communication relating to any issue, proactive in organising outside care (dentist, district nurse, GP).
The staff at Lawnbrook made such an effort to make my Mum comfortable, she really did not want to go into a care home and combined
with advanced Alzheimer's her behaviours were challenging. The staff were so patient, understanding and caring, so my mum settled.
The home itself is always clean, bright and wholesome. There are lots of activities planned daily for the residents, birthdays celebrated and there's a real effort to provide a home-from-home environment.
Visiting is always easy and requirements are accommodated at short notice.
The excellent food is also worth mentioning, all home cooked together with snacks and tea served. I can't praise this home, all the staff and especially the manager, enough. They have been so supportive and understanding towards me and my mum during a very challenging time.

Staff all very friendly to visitors and residents. Managers excellent. Always make a point of updating us on Dad's health and well-being as soon as we arrive. Have been very proactive in sorting out appointments and taking action on health issues with GP and team. Managers have also kept me informed
of any issues by telephone in a timely fashion. Chef is very good, offering a wide selection of homemade foods with a varied menu along with traditional home cooking.
We as a family are extremely grateful to the whole team for their understanding and care.

When I came to view the care home I was impressed but now having a family member here I am delighted to have made the right choice. Most importantly the staff are wonderful, helpful, professional and courteous. Rooms are clean and able to make them homely for the resident. The activities are good and

My mum is very pleased with the care she is provided. Mother does not speak English so there is a language barrier. However, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my mother's needs are fully met and her wishes are included as much as possible. The food is amazing and my mother's rooms, as well as
her personal care, are maintained at a high standard. Thank you for your care, compassion and inclusiveness.

Lawnbrook has become my mum's new home since COVID has hit us. Mum has been welcomed and accepted into the home. I have seen kind, thoughtful and caring staff look after my mum and support her through a difficult transition into care.

After moving to the UK from India to pursue my Master’s in Public Health, I transitioned into the health and social care sector. Prior to this, I was a registered pharmacist in India.


In 2021, I joined Lawnbrook as a Senior Carer and was promoted to Head of Care in February 2022. Most recently, in 2025, I was appointed Acting Manager.


My leadership style is centred on empowering my team and fostering a collaborative, supportive work environment. I am deeply committed to ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality care to all residents. I am particularly passionate about building a strong team culture, helping staff work to the full extent of their skills and training, and continuously adapting to evolving models of care.


Outside of work, I am very family-oriented. I enjoy spending time with my family, managing my children’s busy schedules, and making the most of our days out together. I also have a strong interest in cooking, which I find both creative and relaxing.
