As a family, we are so happy with mum's care at St Andrew's. The place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and cheerful. Mum is happy and so well looked after - she's always being offered food and drink! The activities are varied and very regular. It's lovely to see the photos of mum taking part happily.
Many thanks for your feedback and the care at St Andrews. We value your feedback and will use it to complement and improve the care provision that we provide.
The staff were exceptional in the care they provided my husband during his time there. He was treated with patience, warmth and positivity throughout. At all times, he was afforded dignity, respect and compassion, and we were deeply grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown to him.
Dearest Joan, your husband was a much-loved member of the St Andrews family and will be forever remembered by staff. At St Andrews, we take great pride in the care and support we provide to our residents and their families, and your much appreciated feedback will be used to continue to improve the...
My mother was a resident at St Andrews for the last four years. During this time I have nothing but praise for the way she was cared for. She wasn't always the easiest of residents to look after but was always managed with care and respect. Latterly she needed end of life care which was delivered with the same high standard of care and respect. I would add that the staff were very supportive to myself and my family at this sad time. I would have no hesitation in recommending St Andrews Care Home. Thank you to all the staff.
Warm regards.
From all of us at St Andrews
As a family, we knew the moment we stepped inside St Andrews that this was the place for my mum to come and stay. Reception staff so very friendly, cheerful, helpful and understanding. We were able to choose Mum's room which has a lovely outlook onto the golf course which Mum likes to sit and watch players go by. No matter what time or day I visit Mum, her room is always clean and tidy, and she is very happy living there and loves to partake in the activities which are held every day if she wants to.
I'm so very pleased to know that your and your Mum's experience at St Andrews' was a pleasant one, as this is something that the team strives for each day.
Thanks for being part of the St Andrews family.
St Andrews is a very friendly, welcoming home for all its residents. The decor and cleanliness of the home makes it feel more homely than clinical. The staff take great care and ensure they know each resident by name. When your relative is happy as my dad is then it makes it so much easier for the family and gives peace of mind I would recommend St Andrews to anyone.
We look forward to continuing to support you and your family.
The rooms are comfortable and adequate. Activities seem to cater more for the less able physically and mentally. Food is fair, but it can be difficult / not possible to get suitable alternatives when the main choice is unsuitable.
Thank you for sharing your experience regarding your mother's stay at St Andrew's. I'm glad to hear that she is being treated with dignity and respect by most of the staff, as that is so important in a care environment. It's also good to know that the living accommodations are comfortable....
Mum was at St Andrews for 4 years before we moved her in May '24. General staff turnover at St Andrews is high so there is little continuity. Staffing levels are low. There were roughly half the staff per 10 residents compared to her new home. Consequently, there were often times when I and another resident's son would sit in the lounge with residents for periods of an hour with zero staff present. We cannot comment on the non-dementia units which may be better but I absolutely would not leave anyone with dementia at St Andrew's even with a new manager. B&M Care's "profits before all else" attitude means staffing levels are at a minimum, corners are cut and residents are often not safe. Our mother was assaulted by other residents (punched in the face, hit on the head hard with a walking stick etc.) and covered in bruises, because the dementia residents were left unsupervised. There is currently an ongoing investigation so I cannot comment on other serious issues but will do when resolved.
Dear Ariane, We are sorry to learn that you feel the care and support your Mum received at St Andrew's fell short of the high standard we aim to provide. We take all concerns seriously and we have fully investigated any previous issues. Your feedback is invaluable, and we are committed to...
I was lucky to find St Andrews Care Home for my Mum when she needed more support than we could provide her with at home. From the moment she arrived, we were all made so welcome. The staff are amazing, so caring and knowledgeable and the building is well maintained and clean. The garden is lovely and accessible which my Mum enjoyed.
Your mum was such a lovely lady and was dearly loved by all staff, it was so lovely to have met and cared for her and to have had the pleasure of supporting you through such difficult times, you will always be part of the St Andrew's family and we hope that you will pop in from time to time for a chat over a tea or coffee, but until then all the very best.
We had to find a suitable care home for our mum, who is in the early stages of dementia. St. Andrews has proven to be the perfect choice. The staff are warm and welcoming. They have always been very supportive to Mum, and incredibly patient. They will always make themselves available to you if needed. They are always encouraging Mum to attend some of the daily events on offer. We know Mum is safe and well looked after.
Hi Fiona, many thanks for your kind words, we strive to serve. Warm regards.
St Andrews is always warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly and willing to give their time when needed. They have shown patience and tolerance. The facilities are cheerful and well-maintained and always clean. There are a variety of activities on offer, our Mum is not yet ready to participate in these but staff are inviting and encouraging her at every opportunity.
I went to St Andrews Care home for two weeks of respite care while I was recovering from surgery. Despite not being a 'typical' care home resident, the staff went out of their way to make me feel at home and part of the community. The staff at the St Andrews Care home are excellent, they are a lovely team and there is a wonderful warm and friendly atmosphere. They are very experienced and helpful, willing to meet each resident's needs. I was amazed at how familiar they are with each resident's likes and dislikes and how they take the time to meet them. The care home is lovely, it is well-maintained and clean and each bedroom in my building has its own en-suite shower room. The lounge/dining area was particularly nice and well used by residents as an area for activities, to socialise, to watch television or to read a book. The gardens and patio were very pretty and were very nice for sitting outside or having a walk when the weather is good.
St Andrews has always been friendly and welcoming. They gave our uncle a safe and comfortable home, accommodating his particular needs and encouraging him to partake in all the varied activities provided. We knew from the start that we had made the right choice.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. This will be shared with the whole team who always have a positive attitude and love what they do. We really miss your uncle here at St Andrews.
Both Mum and Dad are residents at St Andrews Care Home. It's reassuring for the family to know they are safe and well cared for 24/7. All the staff are professional but I hadn't expected they would also form friendships with my parents and my family. The staff are always available to speak to me in person or on the phone.
Looking after your parents is our pleasure Christine. Thank you very much for your lovely review which is being shared with the whole team. Kind regards.
Since first enquiring about St Andrews, I have been met with welcoming, cheerful, empathic and professional staff who, despite them attending to many residents with a wide variety of needs, always give our requests and needs the highest priority. In the four months my uncle has been a resident, his diet, health and attitude have all improved and he seems happier at St Andrews, than he has for many years. His sight and mobility are poor and will not get better, but he is alert and is benefitting from the social contact and mind-stimulating activities available. Thank you!
Kind regards.
St Andrews Care home and the staff are exactly what we were looking for.
The care is excellent, our mum is being looked after and she is loved. It feels like we now have an extended family. It feels like a happy, homely welcoming place to be. We are always pleased to visit and are always thanking the staff.
Every staff member goes out of their way to help, smile and make the residents happy and comfortable.
I know we made the right decision and have never looked back.
It is a huge pleasure to look after your lovely mum and all the other residents. Thank you so much for your very kind words. This is an enormous reassurance to staff and the management team.
My Father went to St Andrews Care Home for two weeks of respite care in the dementia unit. The staff were attentive and always had time for him even though I know they were very busy. They were unfamiliar with how to put on leg liners and compression socks but at the suggestion of the unit manager, she filmed me putting them on which was then shown to all carers. Thoroughly recommend.
Thank you very much for the review. This is much appreciated and all staff miss your father's presence at St Andrews. Kind regards.
The extreme level of personalised care and attention taken in all aspects of care and support is outstanding. The communication level and interaction shows compassion, kindness and professionalism.
Thank you very much for your kind words. The person-centred approach and training that B&M Care promotes proves that those high standards of care are visible. This is much appreciated.
We enjoy visiting my mum and all the guests, a visitor is very much a visitor for all, and there are some real characters in Windsor.
Thank you Gaye so much for your kind review. We are so happy to be able to look after your lovely mum and meet her needs with lots of love. All staff at St Andrews appreciate your kind words very much. Barbara.
My family and I are very pleased with the way my mother-in-law (grandmother) is looked after by the staff at St Andrews Care Home. We have found them very caring. This month, I had cause to speak to staff to discuss a few concerns I had with my mother-in-law's behaviour. They were very helpful and understanding. I was assured they would deal with the matter. I always feel I can go to them with any problems.
Thank you very much for your kind words and lovely review. We are always here to help and support.
My mother has been a resident since August 2021. Her condition, on occasion, can sometimes be a little challenging. She is always treated with kindness, care and compassion by highly professional staff. St Andrews is a real community but is always aware of residents' individual needs. I would highly recommend it.
Thank you so much for your kind review Helen, we love having you and your mum here at St Andrews!
