Feedback is really important to help us to pass on your thanks and praise to the staff, as well as to make improvements to our service where necessary. We are really pleased to say that since January, we have had a robust recruitment drive and now have several additional members of staff on board to help us to deliver excellent care to our residents.
At Quantum Care, the health, safety and well-being of our residents is our utmost priority, and we are therefore really disappointed that despite extensive and on-going searches, we have been unable to resolve this matter to the satisfaction of this relative. All new residents are advised to take out insurance for personal items of value brought into the home. Where requested, a locked drawer will be provided in each bedroom.

The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Managers will each bring their own skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to provide the best of everything for their residents.
Hello, my name is Tyler
I have 7 years of catering experience in the care industry
I am passionate to provide the best care and food for my residents
I organises every aspect of the catering operation and provides a safe, nutritious, quality service to our residents using freshly produced food. With a hands-on role, leading a team, they provide a quality catering service and help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. Working with our residents, they help to create menus to meet their needs and suit their tastes.
Keeping the team of Housekeepers running as it should is the Housekeeping Manager. Supervising and organising their teams is just part of it as these Managers work alongside them to keep the home clean and inviting. The comfort of residents is the most important thing to our Housekeeping Managers which is why they work so hard to create an environment in which residents can’t help but feel at home. Multi-tasking and communication skills are some of the most important of the Housekeeping Manager’s qualities as they and their team create a home where residents' dignity is never compromised and independence is always encouraged. Our Housekeeping Managers ensure that all areas of our home are safe, clean, well maintained and presented in a way to create a warm and homely environment. They have an important role in maintaining our infection, prevention and control standards to make sure our residents stay well.
My name is Amila, I am one of two Administrators at Vesta Lodge. I enjoy engaging with residents, family members and staff, and building new relationships along the way.
In my role, I assist with recruitment and payroll and help with finances within the home alongside many other administrative duties. I really enjoy the fact that no two days are alike.
The Administrator will focus on the smooth running of the home; in whatever area they may be needed. From greeting visitors to recruiting, the Administrator is present in many aspects of life in the home, even if you don’t always see them! To be successful in the role, our Administrators have to be flexible and calm, able to multi-task and always keen to take on a new challenge. It’s often the Administrator that brings the IT skills to a home, helping them to keep everything organised. Above that though, Administrators are communicators, able to speak confidently and listen closely to everyone from Managers and Care Workers to visitors and residents.
