My father has been at Pinewood since August 2021 - he is 95 years old. My father is very happy there. All the staff are extremely caring, and this is a great comfort to the family, knowing that he is safe and well looked after. We would highly recommend this care home for any family looking to place their loved ones in a care home.
Good day, and thank you for taking the time to send us this review; your father is an amazing gentleman, and we are really thankful to have him at our care home. Have a lovely day!
My mother was made very comfortable at this home. The carers were friendly and helpful. It is a shame that my mum is not aware of the excellent care she was given but I came every day and watched the busy staff going about their duties with a smile.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Pinewood Lodge are delighted to have your mother stay with us. Wishing you a great day!
My mum stayed with you for a month for some rehabilitation after a hospital stay. She went with a bit of trepidation but was soon put at ease. All of the staff looked after her so well. Safe to say she enjoyed her visit and would not hesitate to come back for a stay if needed. She enjoyed the food, especially the doughnuts! and managed to put on some weight. It was always being cleaned and tidied. Thank you to everyone at Pinewood Lodge.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Pinewood Lodge were delighted to have your mum stay with us. Have a wonderful day!
Very friendly staff and very helpful management are awesome and great help.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Pinewood Lodge will be delighted to hear your feedback. Have a great day!
The staff and carers have been very nice during my visit and my friend seems to be content in his home. Thank you for giving good care and being so kind.
Have a lovely day!
We can visit at any time and always find him cleanly dressed, washed and up and about.
Never any concerns about his care which is reassuring and priceless for his family.
Thank you for your comment. We are delighted to have your father stay with us here at Pinewood Lodge. Wishing you a great day!
We visit the care home on a regular basis and the staff are friendly and supportive. The home plans activities and engages the residents and families for example recently there was a summer bbq and it was lovely to be part of.
Thank you for your lovely comment. We enjoy planning activities for our residents and their friends and family. Thank you for your support!
We have nothing but positive things to say about Pinewood, particularly the Windsor ward. They have provided excellent care to my mother-in-law, they are always pleasant when we visit and are excellent communicators, particularly two staff members. This is a whole new world to us and they have made the transition very smooth for us so far!
Thank you for your comment. We are delighted to have your mother-in-law stay with us here at Pinewood Lodge. Wishing you a nice day!
Poor attitude of certain staff members and for someone who should get 24/7 care does not receive this, and want cash to attend appointments which is a disgrace when paying for care. Not our fault they are short-staffed as we don’t get any reduced rate so why are we paying extra also when it comes to health matters. It feels like a lot gets missed and it’s a fight to get what you need.
Thank you for your feedback. Feedback is always really important for us as it helps to identify areas where we can improve the service we offer to our residents and families. We pride ourselves on offering a high quality of service at Pinewood Lodge and can only apologise if this has not been your...
Everything was absolutely fantastic, I couldn't really ask for more in the way that my mum was cared for in my absence.
Every single member of staff here has attended my mum's needs and it is very much appreciated.
Thank you for your wonderful review and positive comments regarding the home and team. It was a pleasure to have your mum stay with us, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us should you need to use our services again.
Overall, very good. But it's a shame that management would not share basic medical details (even though LPA has been applied for). When she went to her new home, I was unable to assist with meds, which resulted in many calls to the GP.
Many thanks for your feedback. We are really pleased that you found the home overall very good, but your feedback with regard to medical details has been passed to our senior team who will be in touch.
I am very pleased that my daughters found Pinewood Lodge for me.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Pinewood Lodge are very happy to have you stay with us. Wishing you a lovely day.
I'm being looked after very well. All the staff and carers are very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty.
Good day and thank you for taking the time to send us a review, this is appreciated and will be shared with the staff. If we can ever support you better in any way, please let us know. Have a lovely day!
Not knowing what we were expecting, from the very first moment we came to Pinewood Lodge everyone was pleasant and polite. You would have thought I had known them for years.
This is sadly the day (18/4/23) that my mum passed away at the grand age of 94. My mum has always received excellent care and was treated with dignity. She was in Pinewood Lodge for over three years, all through the Covid years and although she had dementia, she was always treated with respect. Her sons can't thank the wonderful staff enough for looking after her.
Good day and thank you for the review. Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of your mother, she was a wonderful woman and we miss her at Pinewood. We are sending the very best greetings to the family.
Very happy with services provided and care given to my mother.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for the review, it is appreciated. Have a lovely day!
The food was extremely good and the menus are varied. After months of not eating properly Mum started enjoying her meals and gained weight during her stay. I felt totally reassured that she was receiving the best possible care.
Good day and thank you for sending us this lovely review, we are extremely proud of our team at Pinewood court and we are content to hear their dedication and care has shown through to everyone visiting. Have a lovely day!
As always the staff are kind and caring my brother gets the best care in a nice environment.
Good day and thank you for the review on our home, we are very proud of the team here and we are happy to hear your brother receives the care he deserves, which is the very best, have a lovely day!
My gran is treated with care and dignity. The staff are always kind and friendly. During Covid restrictions Pinewood gave us regular updates and when restrictions started to lift they put in adaptations for us to visit safely. We were very grateful for this. Thank you for all your hard work, it is very much appreciated.
Good day and thank you for sending us this heartwarming review of yours and your gran's experience at our home. We are extremely proud of our team here and feedback such as this reminds us we are doing something right. Have a lovely day!

I am the House Keeping manager, I have been at Pinewood Lodge since 2016, I started as a casual Handyman, and I developed my skills and moved my way up to Housekeeping Manager, where I motivate a team of excellent housekeepers.
