My mum has been a resident in Cherry Trees for some time now, she has dementia and her behaviour is sometimes very challenging. All the staff at the home are amazing with her. She is quite often awake all night and the night staff are so good, letting her sit with them in the day room until she is ready to go back to bed. They are all patient and kind with her. I have had a long association with Cherry Trees over the last 12 years or so. My friend was resident there for several years and she was nursed by the staff there until she died. they cared for her so well in that difficult time. So when my uncle needed full time care I was so grateful Cherry Trees had a vacancy and he was happily cared for there, for over 2 years, and again given excellent end of life care in the weeks before he died . So obviously when my mum also needed care, Cherry Trees was my first choice and thankfully they had a vacancy. I always recommend Cherry Trees to anyone who asks about care , it is excellent.

Always very friendly, helpful, I am always welcomed. I know my brother-in-law is very happy at the home. He is well looked after, a very good home. I know I made the right choice for him. First-class home.

I have stayed in many care homes over 18 years in 4 different counties and have not been treated better anywhere. Its difficult to say better than all the rest as some were OK but if I had to pick just one it would probably be Cherry Trees. Personally, I saw a lot of the manager on the 'shop floor' seeing how care was given. The night staff were exceptional and made sure that I was more comfortable than any other homes night staff has done. And I don’t want to take anything from the day staff by writing that because I couldn’t fault them either, and I do know how to as a grumpy old man.

My unusual diet was catered for as was my different meal times. In nice weather, I was served outside in the garden. And I had a lot of fun with the cheerful staff.

I am the registered P.O.A for the residents.............who moved into Cherry Trees recently. It is a very traumatic time for anybody who has to give up their home and move into care. I have over 15 years experience in Adult Social Care but this is the first time l have seen it from the service users side.
From the start, the residents were treated with dignity and respect, have settled well. All staff have been very understanding- and they have been treated as individuals with their specific needs adhered to at all times.
My only criticism is that, as we get older we worry about money etc. Although at the moment the residents are self-funding they will very shortly need to have a financial assessment.

One of them especially is extremely concerned, l know this is out of your control, but l do wish that when anyone has to move into full-time care that they are assessed immediately as to put their mind at rest.

Cherry Trees cared for my mother for 22 months until her recent death. She was one of 'the family' at the home, treated wonderfully well by all the staff at all times. They were always mindful of her wishes and preferences and mum always said she couldn't be anywhere better for her last few years. Leading up until mum's death at the home the care she received was fantastic and the care of us, her family was as lovely too. I really can't speak highly enough of the manager and staff.

The care taken looking after all the residents and patience and friendly ways to everyone including family and friends. It is spotlessly clean, the food is really good, they take care to make something else if they don't like or want what is on the menu. They are all outstanding and go that extra mile even when some residents are difficult. Nothing is too much trouble even when they are overworked and tired. We love them all dearly.

I have visited a number of care homes and Cherry Trees stands out as an outstanding home where staff do all they can to help residents. The room and facilities are well suited to my mother's needs. The manager and her team should be congratulated for providing a caring and welcoming environment to all in their care.

The staff are always helpful if you need any information etc. The person I visit is always happy with her living conditions and has never complained. The food is good as the person I visit likes her food. As I am her POA I wish that the cost was not so high.

As a family we are extremely pleased we found Cherry Trees. Our cousin has settled in well from the end of 2015 and is very happy there. She has made several friends with other residents. The home is very well managed, comfortable and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They go about their care in a cheerful manner, such that it feels more like a family home than a care home. Our cousin looked at several care home before deciding on Cherry Trees and is delighted she made the right decision. We can see why Cherry Trees is one of the top twenty care homes in the UK.

My mother spent 4 weeks previously in the home for respite care. She has since become very frail and has last her confidence. We had no hesitation in her return to Cherry Trees. The staff are friendly, caring and very professional. My mother has never been happier and her confidence and health have improved significantly since returning due to the care she is receiving.

I have nothing to say about anything wrong with this care home. The staff are extremely caring, answer bells promptly, see to the residents needs, are so kind to anyone that has problems. The lady I am concerned with has recently gone into hospital, she is due out shortly and this really highlighted the care that she gets at the home. I am very anxious for her to get back into the friendly atmosphere. I could not wish for her to be in a better place.

Cherry Trees has been wonderful in the support to myself and the resident. The management and staff are fantastic and go our of their ways to ensure care and TLC are given. They haves sorted out special dietary requirements and nothing seems to be a problem. I would have no hesitation to recommend Cherry Trees.

I have always been very impressed with Cherry Trees. I always recommend them to anyone who is considering care for a relative. They run a very "home fro home" care facility and everyone is friendly. The care provided is caring and professional and I can't fault it at all. All the residents seem really happy, the food's good, the entertainment provided is lovely and varied and everyone enjoys it.

"Cherry Trees" is providing excellent care, largely due to the strength of its management and leadership team. Staff are friendly, caring and patient, although the building itself is not particularly impressive the ethos and atmosphere more than compensates for its modest facilities. It is scrupulously clean and fragrant at all times, and everyone appears to go out of their way to accommodate the needs of the residents and their families in a positive and supportive way. I am confident that my mother is safe and superbly looked after at all times and she is happy.
