Michelle and her team at Brampton provide excellent service and support to their residents. The atmosphere is always happy, positive and welcoming.
Mum was originally only due to stay for some respite care but has settled in as a full time resident without any qualms. She is delighted with the care
and support she receives and has found the interaction with the various members of staff very enjoyable.

Mum has been a resident for a few years and in that time the service and staff has been exceptional. The girls are friendly and helpful, the team puts on regular interesting programme of events. Their summer garden parties are also a great way of the wider Brampton family getting together.

My dear mother had a fall in her private room at Brampton Lodge.
Unfortunately, she broke her hip, the staff were really fabulous as we waited for the ambulance so attentive and kind.
Mum has since had hip surgery in hospital and has now been welcomed back to Brampton -"back to her home and people
who love her".
Nothing is too much trouble, I would recommend their care to anyone.

We chose Brampton Lodge as it was a very comfortable and convivial home with a lovely garden, friendly staff and lots of activities for residents. It has not disappointed in any way. The staff are amazing - very kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, with access to
the gardens. There is lots to do, including a wonderful summer garden party for residents and their families. Food is great, and there is always a choice. My mother frequently refers to Brampton as a hotel!

The resident moved from a nursing home to Brampton Lodge as it was smaller and more user-friendly. Although the resident has only been there for a short time, we have been very pleased with the care and attention and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. As the home is smaller than before, it is
much more like a home from home with the bonus of a beautifully kept garden.

Our mum has been in the home for nearly 1 year now and she is better and more alert than she has been for years. I cannot fault anything at the home; staff, food, activities and cleanliness are all fantastic. In particular the staff are so friendly and wonderful with Mum. They are so helpful and nothing

I have been in this care home for four months. I came for respite care after having a couple of falls. I have been very happy and all the carers and staff have looked after me very well. They have given me lots of care and would do anything for me. I will come again if I need to be looked after again.

Job Title: Care Manager

Brampton Lodge is owned by Carewise Homes Group and is run by Michelle Baker.


She has extensive experience and has been managing care services for the last thirteen years.


Our outstanding care team are also dedicated and highly qualified; most have completed NVQ levels 2 or 3. We insist on a high standard of care, so our employees are carefully selected, full induction training is provided and continuing professional development is undertaken by each member of staff.


Attentive and compassionate carers are available twenty-four hours a day. The high staff-resident ratio enables us to provide companionship and stimulation, as well as tending to your physical needs.


In addition to the Care staff, Brampton Lodge employs an expert cook, domestic staff, catering and kitchen assistants and a maintenance person.
