A well-trained and dedicated staff team work professionally to provide individualised person-centred care to all residents within the home, and a dedicated activities co-ordinator organises entertainment and daily meaningful enjoyable activities. Hatfield Lodge also has an excellent menu with a choice of home-cooked food, including vegetarian options if required.

We were very concerned about mum after an awful time in hospital. The welcome we received at Hatfield Lodge was amazing and mum did not take long to settle in. She has a comfortable, en-suite room with plenty of space for her bits and bobs. The staff are attentive and caring, welcoming visitors and looking after my dad when he visits. The home is always warm and welcoming, very clean and well equipped. The food choices are excellent and mum can have drinks whenever she wants. She has had several outings and appreciates the visiting hairdresser. Staff are quick to contact us if there is a problem and respond well to any queries or concerns we may have. Overall, I am very happy and grateful for the care and support mum receives.

The staff so kind and caring, even sent me a video the next day to reassure me. The staff recognise me using my first name and consistently check on my welfare. I miss her but I know she is safe and well looked after, which is my priority.

Mum has dementia and the hospital said she was no longer able to look after herself at home so they found Hatfield Lodge for us ascit was nearer my brother and he could visit her more often. Hatfield is a lovely home mum has settled in well. Every time we visit the staff make us feel at home too and we also get private time mum. I like that they have lots of activities which was something mum was missing out on at home. The staff are lovely and always involve us in any decisions that are needed.

I cannot thank the management and staff enough for the excellent care that has been given to my mother since the beginning of admission. The quality of care that my mother receives is the best that I have ever observed and I have worked in many residential homes. The environment is incredibly nurturing offering kindness and love to all of their residents and nothing is ever any trouble even when they are at their busiest times. I never believed that I would see my mum so happy and so cared for before she arrived there and would recommend it to anyone who needs to make a choice for their loved one.

My mother-in-law came to Hatfield Lodge following admission to the hospital and subsequent discharge. In the hospital, she was confused, unhappy and delirious. We have been so impressed by the care she has received at Hatfield Lodge. We could not ask for more in terms of her needs. She is clean, warm, and comfortable and is now smiling. She even has a glint in her eye which we've not seen for a long time. We are so happy with the decision taken for her to be there.
