Hillbeck Care Home is located in the Kent countryside, on the outskirts of the village of Bearsted, near Maidstone.

Bearsted is a traditional English village featuring quaint cottages, several village pubs, restaurants and a large village green which plays host to a variety of different social and sporting events.

Hillbeck Care Home provides accommodation and cares for 60 residents with dementia.

The majority of rooms have en-suite facilities and some rooms are twin for couples of residents who wish to share. Some of the rooms have views of the grounds, while others have views of the countryside. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished and clients are welcome to bring furniture or personal belongings.

The home has three patio areas and a flower garden where where residents and their family and friends can enjoy refreshments and spend quality time together.

I'm really pleased my mother is at Hillbeck, all the staff have been so kind and courteous towards her. The food is very good with it being varied and tailored to my mothers dietary requirements and the social events and activities put on are very entertaining.

Since my Dad moved into Hillbeck he has a whole new lease of life. The staff can't do enough for him, they ensure he is well dressed in the morning, eats well and engages with others. The environment is modern and well suited for older people and his room and clothes are kept clean.

My Dad is having a lovely time living at Hillbeck. The staff take amazing care of him and have also made myself and the rest of our family feel very welcome. There are varied and interesting activities which take place as well as entertainers which come into Hillbeck to perform and the manager has been
very supportive from the very start of when my Dad arrived at Hillbeck with keeping me informed about how he's getting on.

My mum was in Hillbeck Residential Care Home for 15 months. During that time she was loved and cared for by all members of the staff who became family to her and myself. Sadly mum passed away recently and I cannot find words to say how the manager and staff went the extra mile in caring for mum in her
final hours. I will be ever grateful she was in their hands. I would commend management, reception, night staff, senior carers, carers and housekeeping who all interacted with mum, myself and each other to offer comfort and care.
I would definitely recommend Hillbeck for your loved one.

My mum has mixed dementia and has been at Hillbeck Residential Care Home for 21 months. I know that she is always been treated with care, compassion and dignity by all of the staff. From management, reception, senior carers, carers, housekeeping, kitchen staff, entertainers and maintenance they are
all brilliant in the way they interact with all residents. There are lots of 'sing songs', BBQs and events throughout the year and weekly visits from different people and organisations including nursery age children and their parents that the residents love to interact with. Even the barber entertains the residents after each visit.
All staff know all the residents and their regular family visitors by name. Staff always know where residents are. As with many dementia residents wandering is a natural thing for them to do. I know my mum could never wander outside because of the security that is in place. I can confidently recommend Hillbeck. It really is like my 2nd home.

Hillbeck was by far the best care home i saw when looking for somewhere for my mother and I've never regretted choosing them. The manager has been extremely supportive throughout the moving in process and the staff are very polite and caring. Mums room is modern and nicely decorated as is the whole
care home and it's nice when they arrange for outside entertainers to come in.

My father is extremely well cared for at Hillbeck, all the staff show respect and love towards him. The home is always a happy place to be in with everywhere being nicely decorated and always some form of activity/entertainment going on. The meals are very good and varied, and the manager's door is

I visit my mum a few times a week and every time I visit I can see she is being well cared for. The staff are superb at making sure she is well dressed, content and well catered for with food and drinks. The manager and deputy manager are very approachable and keep me well informed if there are any

As soon as we arrived at Hillbeck we knew that it was the right care home for our Mum. Hillbeck is light, airy, spacious and clean with good sized rooms and caring and friendly staff. Mum has a lovely room overlooking the garden and is well looked after by the staff who treat every resident as an individual.
Mum has needed additional care as her Alzheimers has progressed but care needs are regularly reviewed and catered for.
We can't praise the management and staff highly enough. We are kept well informed about Mum's care and families are made welcome for visits and invited to regular seasonal parties. Residents have a wide range of activities and entertainment opportunities.
We would highly recommend Hillbeck to any families in need of an excellent care home for their loved ones.

I looked at 7 care homes with my sister-in-law and as soon as we walked into the friendly, clean, welcoming Hillbeck we both said ‘This is the one!’ Straight away I could feel the kindness of the staff and could see that it was very clean and welcoming and the residents looked happy and relaxed. I know
my father-in-law is so well looked after and is content and all his needs are met. I can’t speak highly enough about the whole team, they are always warm but professional and go above and beyond. The family and I can sleep well knowing our loved one is looked after so well and I have recommended Hillbeck to many people. They have lifted a huge weight off of our shoulders as a family and can’t thank them enough.

The staff and management at Hillbeck are amazing.
They went out of their way to accommodate my mother and treated her with kindness and dignity throughout her journey to the end of life.
Myself and my siblings felt truly humbled by their support and care, they went above and beyond any expectations
we may have had.
Throughout our visits we saw their compassion extended to all residents and although my mother wasn’t able to take part in the activities they were plentiful and fun.
We had looked at a lot of care homes and Hillbeck stood head and shoulders above all of them.

Our Mum was only in Hillbeck for four weeks sadly but the whole family was welcomed wholeheartedly by the team from the moment we first visited. The staff really do care for their residents and their families as individuals and nothing was too much trouble for them. The atmosphere in the home as a result
is uplifting, head and shoulders above any other home we looked at. This is what we wanted for Mum. Being in Hillbeck enabled us to spend time with Mum without worrying about the distractions of her everyday living, as the staff did all of this. The physical environment is lovely too, light, airy and spotlessly clean. We cannot recommend Hillbeck highly enough and if I ever needed the type of care Hillbeck provides, this is where I would want to be.

Having looked at many care homes before choosing Hillbeck I can safely say I made the right choice, the care that has been given to my mother has been amazing. The staff are all so caring towards her and they take the time to speak to her throughout the day. There is a good selection of food with plenty
of tea and coffee offered during the course of the day and her room is kept neat and tidy.

My mum moved into Hillbeck Residential Care Home recently, and since she’s been there, we have found the staff to be caring and approachable. The meals are good with there being lots to choose from and the rooms are well furnished and of a good size.

The staff and management at Hillbeck are first class with the care they give to my mother and other residents. The management team do an excellent job in keeping myself and my family informed on how our mother is doing, which is of great comfort to us. The cook and catering staff produce wholesome food
and the housekeeping team do a great job in keeping all areas of the care home clean and smelling fresh.

I would like to thank each and every one of the wonderful people that work at this home. From January 2020 they looked after my father who suffered from dementia which became progressively worse until he passed away in October this year. The care he was given was exceptional and he was always treated
as an individual and encouraged to do what he enjoyed. From the moment I first arrived with him, you could feel the happy atmosphere and see the people in your care were happy and well looked after, it felt like I was leaving him with family. Everyone I met at this home was friendly and helpful and you could see they truly cared about the loved ones we entrusted to them. During the Covid lockdown, they worked in difficult conditions but still made you feel welcome and kept us informed of all measures they were taking and why to keep our loved ones safe. I really cannot find the words to express my true thanks to these wonderful people who looked after my beloved father so well.

I am happy with the care my mother is getting at Hillbeck Residential Care Home. The staff are kind and respectful towards her and often when I visit have found the home and my mothers room to be clean. The food is excellent and always looks great with Hillbeck accommodating my mother's dietary requirements.

I am extremely pleased with the care my Mum is getting at Hillbeck Residential Care Home. Nothing is ever too much bother and the staff are always respectful towards my Mum with help always on hand when required. When I visit her the home appears very clean and the food always looks and smells good.
For anyone looking for a care home for a loved one, I’d highly recommend Hillbeck Residential Care Home.

Hillbeck Is a great care home which is run and managed by kind, caring and committed staff who have looked after my father exceptionally well during his time there. Hillbeck is a lovely environment and is well suited for someone like my father who has dementia and is kept spotlessly clean and tidy.
