The Hollies provides quality Dementia Care in a residential setting located close to Tunbridge Wells, from a comfortable facility with scenic grounds.

Thirty-one residents are cared for in a converted Georgian property, with the addition of a sensory corridor for residents to walk around and enjoy, and a flexible outlook on health services with excellent links to District Nurses, GP surgeries and Hospice care.

The service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and looks to adhere to all areas of health, hygiene and security, while maintaining a friendly outlook to residents' personal wishes.

I enjoy living in this care home. The staff are very caring and helpful if anyone has a problem with their health or anything that might crop up during the working day can be dealt with and if help is required in any other department, help is available.

Mum has been really well cared for. She has company and the activities are keeping her mind and body active. Staff are helpful and offer reassurance to both her and her family. Distant relatives enjoy looking at the Facebook page. All in all, a great care home. Thank you.

My Dad has been in this care home since February. It has a very homely/family environment. The management and staff go beyond their duties to make him feel cared for and loved. They are always warm and welcoming when we visit and nothing is ever too much trouble. It is so reassuring for our family that
my Dad is in a safe and loving environment and has the best care he can for his needs. Thank you to them all.

She has been treated with such kindness and respect.
The manager is amazing and has been so good to us, our mother and recently our father.
The Hollies is warm, friendly, spotlessly clean.

My Aunt lives here, she is treated incredibly well, as are my family and I when we visit.
The manager and her team are absolutely fabulous - caring, kind, funny, welcoming and knowledgeable.
If I end up in the situation of needing this type of care, I want to move here so I know I will be loved and
cared for.

Everyone at The Hollies is wonderful. Happy, friendly people.
I love coming over to see all of the staff. I really do love them all. The food is delicious especially the homemade biscuits, yum.
As I said I do love them all, but I have great feelings for two in particular.

Of course, was very worried about Mum going into a care home. But have been really please don how things are going. Mum is looked after so well. All the staff are very kind and patient with Mum and the other residents. There are always fun things for them to do i.e. dancing, singing, arts and crafts.

I have 13 years of experience in hospital and community health setting before coming to UK. I am a nurse and have degree in Physiotherapy. I have been working in the social health care setting for the last 15 years, and 10 years as a registered care home manager. I joined Regal in 2009 and started at the bottom and climbed the ladder as they say. I am passionate about my work and committed myself to promoting equality and diversity and promote the highest standard of care. I am a constant believer of constant improvement of knowledge and skills in which I always encourage and advocate all the staff to do the same. I just got my post graduate MSc in Dementia Studies to be better equipped and be effective in caring for people living with dementia. Working in care is not just a job, it's my passion, it's my vocation as it gives me fulfilment in making a difference in some one else's life.

I started working at The Hollies in 2012, I started working as a care assistant, after one year I trained to become a senior care assistant and then onto The Deputy manager for the last 7 years. I really enjoy working in Dementia care and being able to make the residents life more worthwhile. I am currently now finishing my Level 5 management. I love working in care and looking after individuals living with dementia. I find great pleasure and fulfilment to make a difference in someone else's life no matter how big and small.

I started working at the Hollies in 2013. I achieved my Level 2 Health & Social Care and became a Senior Healthcare Assistant. I took some time out of work to have my family and on return to work I became an Activity Coordinator. I love my new job role as I love being able to interact with the residents and I feel I can have a lot more one to one time with them. We all have great fun planning the activities together and it's really nice to give the residents something to look forward to. Some of our favourite activities are singing, arts & crafts and day trips out.
