Rosewood Care Home

We would recommend Rosewood when anyone is making the difficult decisions when placing a loved one in care.

We moved our father into Rosewood as it was becoming apparent that he wasn't able to look after himself at home alone. We have never regretted it, from day one all the staff have shown nothing but kindness and respect towards him and have looked after him like one of their own. The food is great and there and plenty of drinks and snacks offered throughout the day

I can't thank the team of staff at rosewood enough for the work they do in caring for my mum, they treat her like family for which I'm always grateful for. The staff are polite, friendly and seem like they want to be there. My mum can be a picky eater however they really do go out of their way to prepare something that she would like and the in-house activities coordinator does a great job sorting out events and activities for people to take part in.

The level of care and support my mum gets at Rosewood is of the highest quality and that is evident by how well she and others appear. The management are very visible and available to answer any questions and the food is home cooked, well made and varied.

The manager and staff at Rosewood have been amazing at looking after my mum and have also been a great support for me and my family. Everyone is friendly and I'm always given an update on how my mum is doing each time I visit. My mums room is always clean and the new activities staff go the extra mile with putting on activities which she enjoys engaging in.

It was a big move for my father to go into a care home, however from the moment he arrived at Rosewood the care he has received has been second to none. The staff are wonderfully supportive towards my father which is evident from his appearance every time I see him and the manager has been incredibly supportive with no question or request ever being too much trouble. Thank you all.

The staff at Rosewood are very professional, polite and have always been able to meet my Mum's care needs. There are a lot social events and activities that go on and that my Mum enjoys participating in. Her room is always clean, as is the rest of the home and the managers are very hands on, approachable and always around for a chat if needed.

We moved our mother into Rosewood after not being satisfied with the care she was getting in her previous care home and can safely say what a great decision it was. My mum is so well care for at Rosewood by such an incredibly committed group of staff, which I can't thank enough. The managers are always available to chat to and my mother loves the entertainment and events put in.

The staff team have always been respectful and compassionate towards myself and my mother during her time at Rosewood. The activities are varied to meet everyone's interests and the meals provided have always been presented well and look & taste delicious.

Overall I am very happy with the care my mum is receiving at Rosewood. All the staff I am in contact with seem to really care and take pride in the work they do. Her room is delightful and cleaned everyday and she is given a choice of food which always looks appetising.

At the start I was concerned for how my Mum would settle into Rosewood, however it was apparent after only a short period of time that she settled in nicely and was being looked after remarkably well by a very committed staff team. There are good accesses to healthcare professionals which is great as it means my Mum is able to get the extra support she needs and the manager has been really good with communicating my Mums day to day living with myself and the rest of our family.

I am very pleased with the care my Mum has received at Rosewood, with the staff being kind and respectful towards her. They take care of all her medication and other healthcare-related requirements well and they all made Christmas a fantastic day with everywhere decorated festively and a lovely meal put on.

I feel very fortunate to have my father at Rosewood Care Home as the care and attention the staff give him is exceptional. The cleaning team does a superb job in keeping his room and the rest of the building very clean and there are always staff and management about to answer any question I have about his health and day-to-day living.

The care the staff have given to my father is of the highest standards and I've never been disappointed with any aspect of care given to him. The home is calm and the manager is very approachable should I have any questions. The meals are well presented and plentiful with lots of choice and his room is kept nice and clean.

Rosewood is a very warm and welcoming care home. All the staff go above and beyond to help and support my father which has given myself much-needed peace of mind to know he is in such good care. My father is very happy here, he enjoys the activities, the company of staff as well as the company of others living there.

It is always a pleasure visiting my mother at Rosewood, the atmosphere is calm, and friendly and the staff are so kind. I get regular updates on how she is getting on and I'm always consulted on any issues that pop up. The home is clean throughout the building and there is a good selection of food at meal times.

Thank you so much to all the staff that work at Rosewood Care Home for the work they do in looking after my mum, they are caring and treat her with dignity and respect. The cleanliness and attention to detail around the home and Mum's room are good and there are a variety of stimulating activities for all to take part in.

Mum came to Rosewood in May 2023 after a bad fall at home and needing 24-hour care. She has dementia. Rosewood has an excellent management team. Staff in all areas of the home work effectively as a team to ensure Mum is well cared for. The management team and staff are accessible and approachable. Any concerns are followed up and addressed promptly and appropriately. The staff are professional, exceptionally kind and care for Mum with dignity and compassion. The food is great, the kitchen is very flexible with her needs, and she is treated as an individual. She is encouraged to be as independent as she is able, and support is always on hand when she can't manage so well. Where before she was withdrawn, she now happily joins in with activities which ease her anxiety and help her mood and motivation. Our family has had a warm welcome from Rosewood, and they have exceeded our expectations. We are confident that Mum's physical, mental and emotional needs are being met.

I’ve found Rosewood is a caring and safe environment for my Mum and other residents to be in. The staff have always been compassionate and respectful towards my mother for which I am always grateful for. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and the food is extremely good.
