My mum moved in to Lindau just before Christmas 2021 after her mobility deteriorated and she experienced several falls and realised she was no longer safe to live on her own.
Since my mum has been living at Lindau, we have seen how her life has been greatly enhanced with the love and support shown to her by the staff team. My mum now has a social network of support around her and she is no longer isolated at home, feeling lonely and frightened of trying to cope with everyday tasks.
The staff team are absolutely brilliant, the home is always spotlessly clean and very well managed. The home has a beautiful garden to the rear for residents, friends and family to enjoy and activities are available if residents wish to participate.

In my opinion, Lindau is very much a home-from-home and I feel so lucky that my mum has found such a caring home.

In general, my mother seems happier and healthier in her care home. The staff seem to be caring and thoughtful at all times to all residents. The manager has always been very helpful, keen to ensure my mother is happier, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. I think they have assisted in ensuring that my mother's days/weeks/months hopefully years are as good as they can be. Thank you to you all.

It was a hard decision for my mum to give up her home, but she knew that she was unable to live independently any longer after a series of falls. The lovely staff at Lindau Residential Home made the whole process so much easier with their professional support, help and advice with settling in and all that goes with it. Mum has been at Lindau since October last year and the care she has received has been without doubt exemplary. The whole team at Lindau are just the kindest, attentive and caring group of people you could wish for. It is such a relief to know that mum is in a safe and spotlessly clean home with people who really do care. Thank you to you all.

I feel very fortunate that my mum was placed at Lindau Residential Home for assessment after being in hospital for a fall. She had always been against going into a home, but very quickly found that she enjoyed the care, attention and company at Lindau. She has completely come out of her shell and has chosen to stay at Lindau rather than returning home. The staff are brilliant - so caring and attentive. They have made her feel special and important. It is a joy to see her interacting with others, participating in the activities, singing, laughing, and just so relaxed and happy. Her happiness is the most important thing to me, and it is a huge weight lifted knowing that she is so well looked after and enjoying her life. I couldn't ask for anything more.

A very dear friend of mine had reached a point in her life where she realized she would no longer be able to stay in her own home owing to a number of health issues, including mobility problems, and felt that as she lived alone, it would be better for her physical and mental well-being to think about moving into a residential/care home. She was lucky enough to find herself moved into Lindau just before this last Christmas and I have seen her return to her happy self again no longer filled with the worry and struggle of a life on her own with many needs. She is so pleased with the staff and the care and the loving and dignified way she is treated and I must say I can verify this to be the case. Over all of my visits, I have always felt welcome and informed and have seen for myself how nicely kept the home is and safely treated the clients are. She is so happy to be socializing again and getting the support she needs, not to mention the different activities and entertainment provided!

Since my grandmother moved into Lindau at the end of January 2022 she has improved immensely in terms of all aspects of her health and happiness. She was (as were many family members moving into a care home) terrified but all the staff have been absolutely fantastic supporting her and communicating with us. She loves the daily interaction with the other residents and the activities that take place. The staff treat all the residents with respect, dignity and even love.

When my mother arrived at the home nearly 2 years ago I thought it looked tired. I'm pleased to say there's been continual upgrading of the home and a major garden revamp is underway. The home provided an excellent safe and practical visiting facility during the pandemic. The staff are approachable and supportive of families and residents.

My husband has been treated with humility and dignity. The staff are caring and friendly. Because of the coronavirus I have not been able to see much of the home, but the main living area is clean and welcoming. I would be happy to recommend Lindau.

Due to COVID, I could not complete a rating on the rooms. But I am very happy with what goes on at the home. Given the restrictions, due to COVID, my opinion is based more on restricted visits and phone conversations and my trust in the manager, which is good.

The team at Lindau are outstanding and have exceeded all our expectations. They go above and beyond to maintain a high standard of care, ensuring my mum is happy and comfortable, always respecting her dignity and privacy. Not only are the team great at caring for our mum, but have accommodated us through this difficult time, especially with the restrictions in place and visiting so restricted. A lovely, homely atmosphere.

My brother transferred to Linau from another care home as his needs increased. After an initial settling in period exchanged a three-room flat for a single room he is now happily settled and adjusted to his accommodation and increased level of care. The attitude and level of care shown by members of staff have been instrumental in achieving this. They have my admiration and grateful thanks.

We were surprised how quickly our sister settled into Lindau and how quickly she started to eat again, after not eating in hospital. It has proved a good move for her.

We were kept fully informed, when she was very ill for a while, and she was treated with care and concern.

The staff seem very happy and work very well together. They are pleasant and friendly to their guests and visitors alike.
